It was a brisk cold morning as I wandered in from the north of NYC. I arrived with an empty belly ready to fill it with some delicious Chinese fare. I order a jung gee gai (lo mai gai) which is a sticky rice with Chinese sausage (called lap chern), bits of chicken, and delicious taste. It was a total of $1.75, and it totally satisfied my hunger. I grew up eating food from here. Jack was the main chef back then. Not sure how it is these days, but it sure is a part of my childhood and teen years. Good food from what I remember...

I celebrated my PhD earlier this evening in this excellent restaurant. I am glad to say that we had a cool evening and the restaurant was undoubtedly the reason for that fruitful celebration. The stuff contributed in a splendid way, the meals were extremely good and my buddies were so happy. We shall absolutely return for more celebrations. Thank you very much.
