I always go there when I go into the city to meet friends and will take the 7 train to Flushing to buy some of this restaurant dishes that are absolutely delicious. I brought my oversea family who were here on vacation to eat there too. The lady boss is very friendly and I enjoy chatting with her. The food are very authentic to any Malaysians or Singaporeans. Love this place! Yes, I grew up with many of the dishes that are on their menu.

Malaysian food is just one of the best kinds of food. Roti canai, hainanese chicken, Chow kuey teow, and beef rendang (didn't try here) makes for the best order. The hainanese chicken here is solid, may be a bit more bland than other spots though. The Chow kuey teow is a bit bland, not as dark and salty as it could be, although the fish/shrimp paste helps. The roti canai was great here, smooth, savory, and has sweet, good coconut flavors. Not perfect, but for 2 entrees and an app for $30, this is a solid spot. Would come back again.

Thought I’d be having a lonely meal but a roach kept me company. Need I say more…most items had under notes of dishwater. They have a C on food inspection. You’re also hit with the smell of sour fish upon entering. I didn’t tip for obvious reasons: they were getting rid of the stomped roach next to me while I was eating. They chased me as I was leaving the establishment and told me we had to tip; here’s photo evidence…

I took my grandma here for lunch after her doctors appointment. The food was OK, definitely not the best. The service was horrible. My grandma is 85 years old and can barely walk, I told my grandma to stay inside the restaurant and I will get the car and come around to pick her up. The server harassed her into giving more tip.

The curry mood of the curry mood here is very unpalatable. It is recommended that the Malaysian and Vietnamese restaurants in nearby Hualing are more delicious and the price is the same. If you don’t try it, you will know the two best rice noodles with curry. The difference is too big. The satay skewers here are not delicious either. I regret eating here. Let’s try it at Ahondo Hall diagonally opposite the library.

One of the hidden gems of Queens, nay ... New York City when it comes to Malaysian food. No fuss, hole in the wall restaurant with delicious and authentic dishes.Satay, BBQ skate, and Char Kuew Teoy are a must. If you are vegetarian, go for the Satay Tofu or opt for vegetable Char Kuew Teoy. For the Malaysians, Malay has the tastiest "Yee Sang".

In comparison to other Malaysian places like “Tastes good” the food was mediocre at best. The server tried to enforce a mandatory 18 percent tip.
