Malaysian food is just one of the best kinds of food. Roti canai, hainanese chicken, Chow kuey teow, and beef rendang (didn't try here) makes for the best order.The hainanese chicken here is solid, may be a bit more bland than other spots though. The Chow kuey teow is a bit bland, not as dark and salty as it could be, although the fish/shrimp paste helps. One of the hidden gems of Queens, nay ... New York City when it comes to Malaysian food. No fuss, hole in the wall restaurant with delicious and authentic dishes.Satay, BBQ skate, and Char Kuew Teoy are a must. If you are vegetarian, go for the Satay Tofu or opt for vegetable Char Kuew Teoy.For the Malaysians, Malay has the tastiest "Yee Sang".

I always go there when I go into the city to meet friends and will take the 7 train to Flushing to buy some of this restaurant dishes that are absolutely delicious. I brought my oversea family who were here on vacation to eat there too. The lady boss is very friendly and I enjoy chatting with her. The food are very authentic to any Malaysians or Singaporeans. Love this place! Yes, I grew up with many of the dishes that are on their menu.
