Finally the kind of take out experience I've been looking for around here. Quickly served hot in a traditional folding box instead of more plastic. Had chicken and broccoli which was tasty if not a touch oily. Wonton soup had a nice flavor as well.Will definitely come back and try more.
The restaurants around the vicinity of the Woodside LIRR and subway station are cheap due to competition. There are several American Chinese restaurants around but this one does Pu Pu Platter. The restaurant has two doors. There were several waiting for their food. The owners can speak some Spanish. When an order is ready, the owner will ask what sauce and soda the customer wants. Decent Chinese takeout place. The food here is good quality with above average portion sizes. They have a nice lunch special as well. However, there is another Chinese takeout (New China 3) located a block away I would recommend instead. They are slightly better with fresher and higher quality food at similar prices. For example, their sesame chicken is crispier and more meaty than Panda Garden's.
