“Decided to go here since nip's ice cream parlor was closed and I knew I made a good decision. Their ice cream is always delicious no matter what the flavor is. Along with the flavor of ice cream was the service that was given. The servers were very nice and polite handling the request of the ice cream that was requested. I always enjoy having ice cream from here considering how great it is along with the service with it too. I highly recommend coming here for ice cream especially with all the flavors that they offer.“
“We normally go to the one in Wantagh and I have to tell you we stoped at this D&D last night and I couldn't believe how nice the Gentleman that helped us was ... not to mention funny !! I think most Dunkin donuts are terrible these days but this one I had a great Experience and It was a large very nice clean store and we'll definitely go back. “This place is a hidden gem and features some of the best ice cream/ gelato I've ever had on Long Island. I got the campfire crunch swirly, and it was delicious. Ice cream was super cremy and fresh, and they put the perfect amount of blended toppings in the swirly.The shop featured about 20 gelato flavors to choose from and also had a nice expresso bar/candy station in the back.The service was nice and friendly.Overall, this place is a must try!“
“This place is a little diamond. Went for the first time last night and WOW. It took me back to Italy. They don't use the artificial flavors you'll find at all the local icecream shops. It's REALLY pistachio and hazelnut and chocolate. The flavors were absolutely incredible and smooth. Not too sweet. Just perfect across the board. No little bits of ice like you get at other spots where the ice cream has been sitting. It was all fresh. And the owner was a lovely Italian woman who was so happy to share her treats with us. They were very kind and patient as we struggled to pick a flavor (because they all were AMAZING). They also have an assortment of tarts and the icecream cakes that looks like the best ice cream cake you'll ever have. They are absolutely beautiful! If you love proper Italian gelato or ice cream this spot is gonna be your new favorite.“
“In doing an Aperol Spritz themed bridal shower for my daughter we rented the Aperol spritz tricycle from Dolce & Gelato. I started contacting Gino Parente the minute my daughter got engaged.? I’m an earlier planner. Gino was so responsive and so kind immediately. Nothing was a problem for him. He is unbelievable with communicating, I called him at least 15 times. ?. He takes the time out to speak to you as if you are his only customer. A truly professional man to work with . On the day of the shower the tricycle was decorated beautifully with fake flowers and the bar attendant Katherine was fantastic! My daughter and our guests had an absolute blast getting drinks from the cart and taking photos. So much fun! I’ll definitely be using Gino’s company Dolce & Gelato again! A truly wonderful experience working with him!“
“Stopped here while I was in town for a work function and needed a sweet treat but wanted something that was local. The slightly older lady with brown hair and glasses who was working was super friendly and welcoming. I tried a few different flavors, as I couldn't decide and wow!!.. they were all delicious. I landed on the sea salt caramel flavor as it was fantastic and so creamy. I got a small bowl of that at a good price with great service. Definitely worth the pit stop! Sorry, I forgot to take a photo since I ate the ice cream so quickly!!!“
“I'm so surprised I hadn't written a review for Marvel before, especially since I have been here a couple times because it's pretty close to my sister's house. It's definitely great value compared to a lot of other ice cream shops. Since the last time I was there they've added more flavor options too. When I went recently, I ordered a small cup of half pistachio/half dulce de leche with the Marvel mix on top (rainbow sprinkles/chocolate crunchies). It hit the spot, although it did not seem as creamy as it was the last time I had it. Service was ok, not the friendliest though. If I'm around the area, I may pop back.“

“First time here wanted to know what the hype was about, got a 4 pack.2 chocolate chip... good though chips didn't taste like semi sweet, they were sweet.1 donut.... good...tasted just like a melted donut1 brownie, good.They are good cookies, limited on base choice as the others selections are toppings on the base.Crunchy on the edges, top, bottom and moist in the center. Very addictive.They hold up well in the freezer and can be eaten straight from the freezer as it doesn't turn into a brick.It's a 5 dollar cookie which is too expensive to enjoy frequently.Parking: Its located in a strip mall“
“Since ice cream is my favorite food group, I had to check out Dolce back when they opened. It has become a staple in our household. My fiancé and I sneak out without the kids knowing so we can grab a cup of gelato as a weekly ritual. We take the kids sometimes too lol. Danny and his staff are always friendly and accommodating and the gelato is always fresh and delicious.“

Replace pineapple with berries and have a mix of nuts rather than one.Downside is the hot fudge melted the ice cream so it was like eating soup.Keep the ice cream solid and visible rather than underneath the whip cream.Cool old blast to the past parlour look. Good chill time.“
“Beautiful interior and decor! Really enjoy the ambitious here, it's a comfy spot for families and friends to sit and enjoy. Had the Chicken Tikka as "appetizers" and the Steaks as the "main course". Everything was rich and juicy! The Tomahawk as beautifully cooked (medium is theee way to go) and the side Mac n cheese was amazing!“
“Rolled ice cream is always a fun treat! They had lots of flavor options and I chose piña colada. All were $8 and came with unlimited toppings! I didn't realize at first the toppings were unlimited or I would have gotten more! I saw that they even toast marshmallows with a torch for you upon request as a topping. Ice cream was delicious and the staff friendly. They had a few tables inside and a bench outside to enjoy your ice cream. Parking could be a little tricky, as it was street parking only but we were able to easily find a spot around the corner.“
“I stopped by go nuts for sweets because I needed a quick gift for a last minute bday party. The lady was super sweet. She had me pick out the items I wanted and she put it all together for me and made me this basket looking so cute for the birthday girl. As I waited, I also ordered a tiramisu bubble tea. I was hesitant at first because I didn’t know how that would taste but I’m so glad I did!! The drink was super delicious girl let me tell you! “What a fun and tasty summertime treat! If you "but it's just a snow cone" you are mistaken this is much softer, fluffier and definitely a Snoball! This is the kind if treat once took my first spoonful I was already plotting when I could Come to eat it again and why did I only get a regular sized when I should have gone BIGGER. There are over 100 flavors to pick from and additives and more so truly you can go wild. I really enjoyed coconuts tutti fruti, tigers blood so far. I wish I had one sooner. “Such a cute little spot. If you happen to be in Long Beach, this is another place that you must pop your head in and try if you have never had alcohol infused ice cream. I normally frequent the Manhattan location and have also use their delivery service from time to time. Today was my first time at this particular location being that I was out in Long Beach I ended up buying a pint of the rosé infused sorbet.Normally I get the raspberry lemoncello or the mango margarita flavor. My all time favorite is the watermelon Hennessy infused sorbet (limited edition)I haven’t tried the rosé yet but they had a blood orange infused flavor that I did sample today that was pretty good and the manager even mentioned that it pairs well with Prosecco.Definitely will visit again while summers is still here“

“Just stopped by here today because I really wanted some frozen yogurt. This was my first time going there as I am not from here. There are several tables inside with seating for up to 10 people.I wanted some frozen yogurt and was going to get the biggest container they had which was the 1.5 quart, but the guy at the counter warned me it would run me about $25 - $30 which was really expensive. That’s when he explained they charge by the ounce ($1.50/oz?) so the more I put in the container the more expensive it is.I settled for a 16oz container but didn’t fill it all the way up and it ran me about $13 after tax. It was really good and they had a good selection of toppings as well. I would definitely go back again.Parking: There is a municipal parking lot across the street for a fee ($3/hr?) with ample parking.“

I'm going to keep this very honest in respect to using common sense/speculation/as well as responding to some of the comments on here. We haven't been there in quite some time...surprised to see the place redecorated. My wife loved it...I understand it. I'm one of those people that walk into a pizzeria and see faded red Formica tables, benches and dated dingy decor as a good thing. I was never bothered by aesthetics as it seems seasoned and perfected like the food im about to indulge in. The old international cafe had a plethora of food, nothing that wow'd you BUT was consistently good even though they had a great variety. The freshly made waffles, variety of gelato and fresh whip cream needs no review. People who complain about noise should just stay home with their mask on. You are talking about an open place restaurant that is a staple of a community for decades. Why in 2024 are people so miserable to see others so happy. Place is jammed back...what do you expect it to sound like? People complaining about kids are the same $hit parents who rather hand their kid a iPad instead of letting them socialize. When we go there we expect it to be busy, loud, kids be kids, great food, great service and pay cash. With new owner ship comes many things and one them was the menu. We were thrown off since we were expecting our usual order. A lot of their items on the menu can be easily replicated at home. When we go out to eat we only order what we don't make for the most part. My wife ordered their Chicken Tenders which was made fresh as they were chicken cutlets cut down. I thought it was OK my wife was not happy bc the crispy bread outside came off the chicken itself. We also got wings and beer battered onion rings. Onion rings were great and wings are wings. We don't deep fry in the house for many reasons...we never ordered anything deep fried at the old spot either. Got their loaded potato skins which my wife enjoyed as well. Reviews about the new whip cream being OFF in taste is correct. Gelato tasted the same to us which was good. Price seemed fair for what we got compared to others places we have gone too. Best of luck to the new owners and staff. I honestly don't think we will be back bc happy wife happy life Our waitress was PHENOMENAL“

Their gelato more closely resembles gelato I've had in Italy, compared to other places who do not specialize in this.The staff and owners are helpful. The area is not the best for me, but if it's convenient for you, I'd definitely check them out!“

“Carvel is literally a taste of my childhood.Whenever a birthday or another event arose that "required" a cake, we always got a carvel cake with the famous crunchies. Well to this day, my childhood carvel still exists in the same locale and i enjoy their cakes and other icey treats just as much. And Wednesdays are especially the day to go if you get the urge, because they are 2 for 1 on sundaes.. CANT BEAT THAT!“
