Nautical mile institution now offering Sushi. No sign of lobster at a once go to place, Young service people seemed to be struggling to remember where you are sitting.. haha.. Food was fresh but nothing like the Otto's of old. This is more like prepared frozen fried food, young service and short of lobster.. Its economized.. so think soup and beer by the water.. or some frozen to fried platter. think like that... but hey.. it is still Otto's.. If that name goes they are toast with me.. Hahha.

I came with my family today for lunch for my dad's bday the food was good and the service was good but they charged a service charge for using credit card so we gave less of a tip and when the sever named Edwardo looked at his tip he gave us a hard time saying we need to give at least 20.00 tip which is very rude and unprofessional. He had no right to hound us in his tip never had we had this experience before.

Bucket of steamers was very good. Janet, the bartender, was very friendly. We weren't just there to give her a tip. Atmosphere was very nice, outdoors, on the waters edge. Inside, the bar area is cramped and two of the largest booths are full of stuff, like someone was doing planning and got called away. If you read my reviews, bathrooms are everything. The men's room is cramped and the stall doors are 4" from the toilet. You have to open the door to finish and get dressed. There is one urinal, a 5' trough. The women's room was more spacious, according to the wife, but not well kept and on the dirty side. Overall, food would bring me back but only because we're on a street with other restaurants that have better restrooms. Form your own opinion.

I usually wouldn’t leave a review on a restaurant but this was the worst service of my LIFE. We were promptly escorted to our table where we sat for 30 minutes with no service, no drinks not even water. That gave us MORE than enough time to know what we wanted for drinks, appetizer and our entrees, we contemplated on leaving ( we should have ) since it was an almost empty restaurant just us and another small party. It took ANOTHER 30 minutes to get just our drinks ( still no water ), must be hard to make a beer that’s already in a bottle. We felt as if we couldn’t leave since we already placed our orders. The food was overpriced trash, the service was 0/10 and I almost guarantee the automatic gratuity is because they know their service sucks and they would get 0 dollars in tips otherwise. Side note, the outdoor condiment trays were filled with soggy napkins, inches of water and ketchup bottles nozzle down, sounds like a bacteria breeding ground. Do better

I went to Ottos after work with my friend. She had the Docked Out Bloody Mary which came with crispy bacon and a shrimp. She said it was really good! I had a Cosmo-tini with Grey Goose Vodka, also very good. The place is right on the water in freeport, pn the Nautical Mile. The ambiance was amazing. They had a band playing soft rock. A very chill atmosphere. The food was good and tasty very fresh. They were very attentive to us, I must say service was also good! Overall a good time had on a nice summer evening!!

This used to be my to go to spot when I return to New York each year. Yesterday I had taken my two sons for what I thought would be a great meal. Not so.. Service was horrible and after waiting 20 minutes, our server came over to ask what would we like to drink. We ordered one drink, one water and one soda. Another 15 minute wait. Then once served drinks we ordered appetizers. My younger one ordered fries and both myself and my other son ordered oysters. Big mistake. they were horrible and looked as though someone chewed them first, never mind they were unbelievably small and came in a bowl full of water and ice. We ate maybe two and threw the rest away. Another 15 minute wait and the server finally came over to ask what would we like as a main course. I said the check. $98.00 . I was floored. paid it and vowed not to ever return. BTW, the place was empty.

Have not been to Ottos in a while… The food is still great. The location is beautiful. It’s right on the water and the staff is friendly and great!!! it’s definitely the place I always remembered and love to go in the summer? I recommend keeping these old businesses alive…Parking: Was able to park right across the street in there a lot❤️

They were rotten, horrible fowl smell, the water in the bowl with the steamers was black. The waitress actually TOLD US " She knew the steamers were bad ".Why would you serve them. Is that how you treat your customers. There are so many other places for great fresh seafood. Please choose another place.
