“Excellent little farmhouse brewery. We had a flight, and each of the beers were unique, delicious, and had that farmhouse 'character' you look for in smaller breweries. Bar tender was very friendly and informative. The location is absolutely beautiful, with picnic tables scattered around a lawn, as well as some under a tent canvas. Come watch the sunset or hot air balloons in the distance, and enjoy!”
“Best bread I had in a while. The main dish pasta was great??. I had an okay appetizer (clams were a little too lemony and a bit overcooked) But!! Scallop and Shrimp Vodka was amazing. The cheese in the pasta was ”
“Never had any issues here, never had to wait too long in line either. Sometimes they are very limited on specific donuts so be mindful of that when you come in. They have a variety of delicious sandwiches and hashbrowns as well.”
“Bowl is a healthy meal option but it didn’t hit the mark in terms of taste for me. Fresh fish smell in the meal is not great for me, but if you like that and sea weed, you might love it. I don’t remember the name but a crunchy toppings was great.”
“Can't believe last night was the first time I actually ate here. 5 stars across the board....three people for dinner and everyone agreed the food was excellent!! Service was outstanding from being seated, to ordering and receiving our meals. Portions were enough that I brought half of mine home to have the next day. Thanks for a great dining experience, will definitely be back.”
“The wine is delicious (especially the Gruner) and the people are so friendly! They get excited to see my dog walk in, and everyone seems to be glad you're there. One of my favorite places in Ithaca.”
“Came from Raas profit share!!! Loved the food! Speedy service and such a cute restaurant!! Food was so good and portions were definitely big- I have enough leftovers for my lunch tomorrow!”
“Wonderful experiences here over many years. My son is a Cornell undergraduate in Ithaca, NY, so we visit often. The ice cream is home-made by Cornell students from local dairy cows. The Cornell Dairy Bar is in a cafeteria located on campus in a modern building with big glass windows. The space is well-lit with lots of small tables and chairs. The dairy bar serves many unique flavors of home-made ice cream, cones, ice cream floats, sandwiches with vegan options, burgers and hot dogs (of meat or vegan options), a wide variety of drinks, coffees, teas and bottled waters. No beer or alcoholic beverages are available. Prices are very modest and reasonable. Food, service and the local ambiance are excellent, and everything is managed by Cornell students. Ice cream is fresh and flavorful, very smooth and creamy, so it melts easily in your mouth. If you're dieting or vegan, this is definitely worth suspending diet or vegan habits because the interesting, innovative flavors are unpredictable but remarkable and surprising, especially delightful because everything is created and managed by Cornell students, teachers and staff.”
“We always enjoy ourselves here. The food and beer selection is wide, so there's a bit of something for everyone. I'm doing dry February, and they had a terrific NA beer from Athletic! My vegetarian friend enjoyed the cauliflower wings. We accommodated a group of 10 on the fly (had unexpected extras), and the staff was ok with us putting tables together. Another nice table of guests even agreed to switch tables with our large group. It just shows that the people here, both patrons and employees, are into the friendly vibe.”
“I wish I had come here sooner! Star is friendly and welcoming. Food was amazing. I had the Delmonico steak with the Gorgonzola Compound Butter and it was cooked to order and tasted great. The scallops appetizer was soft and full of flavor with the Au Gratin sauce! All around great experience and will be back again.”
“240416 dinnerTrustworthy, solid elevated dinner place on campus.Grilled octopus is tasty indeed. Cooked just right. Plump, tender, and not rubbery. The chorizo tastes good also there’s a litte too much potato pieces.Focaccia is beautifully sprinkled with rosemary salt.Kale salad is refreshing, though slightly too sweet.Ricotta Gnocchi comes with generous portion of tender ragu, but I do prefer tomato sauce than Worcester.Shrimp Scampi is surprisingly amazing <3. The star of the night. It may sound and look ordinary but the pasta is beautifully flavored, buttery with a light delightful umami.Duck Breast is also cooked well, very tender at medium. The sweet potato fondant reminds me of baked sweet potatoes in winter days. The sweet-sour Maple-Currant Agrodolce is quite overpowering on the other hand. The dessert is lovely and not too heavy even after stuffing myself with the main dishes. The elderflower foam isn’t too sweet, and the citrus cheesecake and pistachio frangipane taste pleasant. The staff was quite stressed during the busy night and made some mistakes with the bill, but service was prompt and helpful.”
“So good! The people who work here are exceptionally kind and the food they make is delicious. We always get a Reuben and tiramisu or coffee cake (which is cinnamony and walnuty). You can sit outside on a nice day and they will bring you your order. I’m so lucky I live down the street!”
“I ordered a dole whip ice cream treat and was yucked out. The 2 guys st the window were troopers. They Saud yhtow it out andcwe'll give you something rlse. Just a small van/chocolate twist, and it was perfect.”
“This is always a nostaglic stop for me when going through Cortland. Bacon cheeseburger, fries and a rootbeer float are delicious every time I come here. They only take cash, and there is an ATM inside if you need it. We sat in the car to order and eat.”
“This is the best Jamaican restaurant in Ithaca and it’s surroundings. The food was excellent. I’m a Jamaican and it reminded me of back home. The real yard flavor. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
“The nautical theme is kinda ludicrous considering the location but the food is good. This was a pretty good fish fry. Their sourcing must be pretty good.Be prepared to wait a bit.”
“First time coming here - I wish I knew about this place earlier! Lamb over rice was AMAZING! Lamb was slighly crispy on the outside yet succulent on the inside. Even the yellow rice by itself was seasoned perfectly. All of it is drizzled in your choice of a creamy / garlicky sauce that leaves you scraping for more. 4.8/5”
“Very cute brunch spot. The food and service were delicious. The coffee was excellent and I am very excited to go back for dinner.I got the eggs Benedict with a side of potatoes. Everything was seasoned perfectly. Also to note, the orange juice was incredible. Fresh squeezed and delicious.Kid-friendliness: Don't bring your kids here.”
“A bit pricey but worth it for small business and bakery. Love the quality of food for their sandwiches and the pastries are delicious. Definitely worth the extra money.”
“The Statler Hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. The staff at the check-in desk were very nice and helped us with the check-in and check-out process. They also helped us pick up our wedding decor the day after our event. The Ballroom is beautifully decorated and the rooms are clean and spacious! Chef Eric and his team create food that is delicious, and we received so many compliments from our wedding guests about the food! We highly recommend the Statler Hotel if you are planning an event or staying in the Ithaca area.”
“Very nice hotel with attentive staff. My only complaint was the fitness facility was very, very small. Could have given 5 stars but it was incredibly expensive for what it was (and being in Ithaca, NY, not Manhattan). Of course, being on campus is advantageous.”
“Excellent dinner. Attentive service, nice selection of entrees, high quality, fresh ingredients. Very generous servings. I enjoy the Asian spin on some of the offerings.”
“Great pizza, subs, and fried chicken. Always open at the most convenient times. Location is great and the wait time is always very short, especially during busy times. Can't wait for WTFalafel to open!!”
“Good beer and mango hard seltzer, friendly service, great band tonight, "Dark Wine" . Lots of parking space and quite a few tables to sit at indoors and out. There were two food trucks there tonight, but they both closed at 7 even though the music went till 9. We had to leave early to drive a few miles away to get food at Little Italy Pizzeria, which luckily was open till 9.”
“Love the food and the vibe here! I have probably eaten here 100 times. Shakshuka, falafel with egg, and turkey Rachel are my faves. My friend swears by their quinoa bowl. Their Matzo ball soup cured us of many ailments!!”
“Originally I had the first cup of coffee from Copper Horse at the Blue Heron Music Festival. Since then I've been ordering their 5lbs Bulk bags and they're my regular coffee every morning. I cannot express enough how much I enjoy their Carriage House Blend! I hope to see you at future Blue Herons'!”
“If you want the best sub roll of your life you’re in the right place. We have ate with them while they were in the other location and I swear it tastes even better now! I went into a food coma after inhaling my whole sub. Absolutely delicious!”
“Overall this is a nice cafe. The coffee and pastries are good and it’s nice that they have a wide variety of options. They also usually have new specials so you can always try new things. The only issue I had is that there’s no place to sit. The atmosphere is wonderful it just feels a little cramped.”
“Very tasty pizza, and ready quickly. But...when ordering by phone, make sure you confirm the price to avoid surprises. We ordered a pizza for takeout, and the price charged was 33% more than the menu price ($16, advertised as $12).”

“I love this ice cream shop. I've been going here since I was a kid. Their prices are great and they give you good amount of ice cream for what they price it at.”
