“I found the service very friendly and down to earth, love local places like this where you have people that know the area and tell you about it as you order. The brioche bun sandwich, the bread was pillowy soft and toast just right, eggs were fried alright, although a runny sunny egg would been better, cheese was thoroughly melted, never a fan of cold cheese on a hot sandwich. For the cookies, just awesome, chewy and very soft, surprisingly since little cookies tend to be on dried out side.”
“Cafe Mio is a lovely treasure in Gardiner, NY. They serve breakfast and lunch, and do it fabulously! The blackened catfish sandwich was delicious and the pulled pork sandwich looked messy and wonderful and also was said to be delicious. Most sandwiches come with a lovely green salad but fries are also available, and they are sinfully scrumptious. Very very friendly staff and plenty of parking”
“Hidden gem near the wildflower. Found it while on a walk with our dog. Tacos were great. Spectacular hot sauce and the churros were best in class. Going there tomorrow!”
“Stopped in Saturday on the way back from the city. What a fun spot! The upper level is a country barn and down stairs is a warm rustic brewery. We didnt order food but they have a kitchen and many guests were eating. Tried a berry berry sour pilsner ipa all went down easy. The band was also a highlight brought the revelry up a notch.”
“Pasquale's in Gardiner has been our go to pizza joint for years. Sadly, the manager who brought life to the place ( Chris) is no longer there. It has been awhile since he left, but the difference in the atmosphere is still palpable. The wait staff are wonderful, however, Chris used to make the rounds of the dining room , greeting customers, joking etc. After all this time, I'm still not sure who is in charge when the owner isn't present. ( an owner who has never acknowledged our existence btw). The music is played so loudly at times I can not hear what we are talking about. So the negative aside, the pizza is wonderful. Consistent, hot, crispy. The menu is varied with something for everyone. The garlic knots are large , really garlicky, soft and delicious. Service is fast as is the kitchen. No complaints there. I will say with the loud music and how cold they keep the dining room , we don't go as often, but I do recommend it.”
“So delicious! The food and drinks were amazing. My family and I were visiting from Connecticut and my husband booked the wrong date by accident. The owner was so kind and made it work for our party of 5. We really appreciated the effort that was made to accommodate us. We know good food and from start to finish it was amazing. The atmosphere is very stylish and we had a great time. The next time we stay at Wildflower Auberge we will be back!!”
“We ordered six courses from the menu, between entrance & main course. Food was quite tasty & very delicious but their dishes are not visually stunning. The service was great. However I would prefer if they have live music, would be more fun for having a good time & stay longer.Definitely one of my go to spot in Hudson Valley.”
“Hands down the best pierogis I have ever had. Kielbasa and sauerkraut was fantastic, and try the bacon, farmer's cheese, and jalapeno if they have them on special.”
“This place was so cozy and welcoming. Everything we ordered was tasty and comforting: Coxinha, Pierogi, and Golabki. We enjoyed looking out the window to the nice town. Great experience!”
“We stopped in while on a road trip from Delaware to Montreal. What a cool little place! It's a combination tea/coffee place. The person who helped us could not have been nicer. I had the Maple Rosemary Latte which was amazing! We would certainly frequent this place if we lived in the area. Check it out!”
“If you are looking for a Great sandwich for a more then reasonable price, you have found your place. The sandwich selection is full of great options, and you won't be disappointed. The Cuban has been my go-to for a quick weekend lunch option. The staff is attentive and friendly, and one gentlemen calls me young man, even though I am sure that I am older then him which leads me to an extensional crisis while I eat my Cuban. I hope that this joint can survive in our sweet little town full of Teeny boppers and hopeless hipsters. Do yourself a favor and grab a sandwich from this place before our only option is a mutant meat sandwich from Amazon grown in a laboratory for 2$ a month for eternity.”
“The food is excellent. It's my favorite pizza in the area. We also really enjoy the spaghetti with meatballs and the Ceasars salad with croutons from the fresh bread they bake on site. Dessert, get the cannolis!”
“Exactly right! Ate delicious, interesting food in a beautiful space with excellent service. Don't be fooled by the ubiquitousness of flourless chocolate cake; it was done perfectly. Thank you, Clare and the Runa team!”
“It is one of our favorite hangouts in the Hudson Valley. It has a great vibe, great food, great ambience, both in the winter and the summer time. Service is good and the food is very comfort food that makes you feel you are eating at home. The pizza is Roman style so thinner than most and very tasty. A great spot close to Kingston and the Mohonk preserve”
“Cozy little diner with excellent food. Best sweet potato fries I've ever had. The pulled pork sandwich was delicious. The reasonably priced meal included soup and desert.”
“Food was insanely delicious but everyone (including , and I would say, notably, the clientele) was hauntingly unfriendly.Still would return for the pizza. Truly delectable. Sparkling apple cider was lovely too and the donuts were the best id had all year.Parking: Massive lotKid-friendliness: Tons of kids (and dogs!)Wheelchair accessibility: Relatively flat but uneven and sometimes mucky ground. Would not recommend for self wheeling unless supremely strong! ?”
“Love working with Bryce & his dedicated team during special events! I am a professional photographer and every time I’ve worked at Novellas I’ve been nothing but comfortable, excited, and warmly welcomed by all staff!Everyone is dedicated to make operations run smoothly and Bryce is fantastic to coordinate with. Every time I have concerns about lighting or need updates throughout the night, Bryce always has an answer, a solution, a smile on his face. Thank you for creating a great environment for both guests & vendors. We appreciate all your hard work together at Novellas! Can’t wait for more events together in the future.”
“They've become one of my go to take-out. My favorite is their curried chicken salad and their dessert is great too. Shout out to the chef who made the Coconut Panda Petit Gateau recently, so ”
“What a great place! Highly worth the slightly higher prices. Really quaint location tucked away, and the atmosphere is really fun. Great selection of drinks and food, and they even have a dedicated vegetarian menu if that's preferred.Really glad I checked out this place. Owners are super nice and friendly as well. Highly recommend to any in the area!”
“The Stone House Tavern is incredible! It is obvious they take great pride in food, drinks and service. We've been there a few times and it never disappoints whether it is a burger or a full meal. We were with friends recently and both my husband and our friend called their burgers "epic" :) Our server was friendly and professional and we had a great time. It sure is nice to be greeted with a smile!”
“Awesome! This is an amazing and unique brewery, with top tier customer service. I visited for the first time on a whim and loved the entire atmosphere. The bartenders were friendly and knowledgeable and I had a blast getting to try something new. They have a menu of small bites, but I went with a cider flight this time. I will be back!”
“Had the best and most relaxing afternoon here at Arrowood Farms. Everyone was in a good mood - from the kids laughing and running, to the dogs with their tails wagging. The food was great and the drinks were even better. Pro-tip, keep your tab open because you’ll be back to order more! Can’t wait for the next sunny weekend to come back.”
“My fave vegan spot in New Paltz. Food is delish and staff is delightful. Puppy friendly with indoor and outdoor seating. Lots of GF optionsVegetarian options: Everything is veganDietary restrictions: In addition to being all vegan, there are lots of GF options, and everything la elements and adjustable so you can avoid nuts, seeds wtc.Kid-friendliness: Totally kid friendly”
“I’ve been here several times and absolutely love the food and the owner comes out sometimes to check on you and see how everything is. Rare to go to a place where the pizza AND bbq are good! This place has it down! Go!!”
“We got two pies from the bakery for Easter, one already made and one we ordered - Key Lime and Coconut Cream. First off, the bakery itself is lovely and comfortable, while the owners are warm and friendly to deal with. As for the pies - delicious! The Key Lime pie was the perfect balance of tart and sweet. As for the Coconut Cream, I’ll leave it to my friend, and I quote: “I consider myself somewhat a connoisseur on Coconut Cream pie and this pie is exquisite!” Do patronize this bakery - you won’t be disappointed ?”
“Great prices, super friendly family that runs the place. They have good good at an affordable price. They have plenty of options when it comes to drinks. Lots of snacks and good food options too. Good wings”
“Amazing coffee, amazing drinks, and the best place in the Hudson Valley to burn time. Whether you're looking for a game of chess, or a day of fun for the family, this place rocks!”
“Awesome spot with great food and margaritas!Brought my mom and dad here for some lunch and I already want to come back for more. The salsa was tasty with a nice rolling spice, the guacamole was also tasty, and for the main course we got enchiladas mole poblano and street tacos with steak and all we're very tasty and just what I'd hope from a spot like this. The enchiladas were nice and cheesy, the chicken inside was soft and seasoned, the street taco steak was cooked with onions that were nicely caramelized, and the rice was also really good and wasn't mushy or instant rice tasting like some other spots. Portions were excellent and price was fair.”
“Super cute! Everyone was so nice there and the cats were adorable. Very reasonable prices for drinks and to sit with the cats. All of them were approachable and comfortable around people. You can buy treats for the cats (bring quarters!) and they had many toys and climbing areas for them. Will definitely be returning!”
