“Been here twice already and I'll be coming back! I love supporting small family owned shops but it's easy here because the desserts/pastries here are delicious. The desserts are Filipino-inspired which is not commonly seen in this area. I've tried their basque cheesecake, ube donut, and their Bicho bicho, along with the ube foam iced coffee. “These are all my cookies i have ever gotten from crumbl. They were all delicious. Cannot eat a whole cookie in one sitting tbh but that is not a bad thing at all! Located across the street from the Glen Oaks library on Union Turnpike, there is ample street parking as well as the large parking lot located behind the bakery. “Occasionally when I drop off my laundry I visit Duchess for a cookie. I would give Duchess a solid 3.5 stars. Sometimes the cookies taste a bit cold, even though they are kept under a light. The reviews about Duchess's cookies are accurate, as they are indeed quite big and have a slightly doughy texture. It seems like that's the intention behind them, and despite that, I still find the taste enjoyable. Out of all the cookies they offer, my absolute favorite is the Red Velvet White Chocolate Cheesecake Cookie. Additionally, I also enjoy their energy elixirs. I can't remember the exact one I had, but it had a purple color. Every cashier I have encountered has been extremely kind. The waitress was lovely and when I looked up for a moment just to take in the beautiful space, a male server stepped over to see if I needed anything. Asked me if I needed lemon or honey with the tea-- that impressed me. Usually you have to ask for everything. Also lovely attention to details with the choice of dishes and cutlery and variety of cups for drinks. Lots of options for pastries as well. Will go back again this weekend for sure! Great job!“

We asked the owners to bake us cakes and cupcakes for my daughter's first birthday and my son's Baptism and both cakes were so beautifully baked, delicious and exactly what we wanted! The cupcakes are equally amazing and my absolute guilty pleasure! I even bought them for my daughter's daycare teachers and my co-workers for Mother's Day and they were a total hit every time! We also love ordering from them for birthday celebrations and 'just because'! Highly recommend! They use fresh ingredients and never disappoint! My best friend is now also hooked! Lol“

If your map is taking you somewhere questionable, Le Pain Quotidien is located at the Roosevelt field mall right next to Neiman Marcus and Vince. There's plenty of parking during brunch time. If you're shopping, you can find them on the first floor near the entrance to the mall between those two stores. Le Pain Quotidien is beautiful inside and clean. There are plenty of seating and different tables to choose from. They have flowers on every table and I think that's quite lovely. You enter, seat yourself. If you're on the go, you can stand in line to order. The staff is very friendly. It can be busy. It took them quite some time to bring out our food. If you've never been there, I suggest taking a look at their menu beforehand. There were a lot of delicious choices so it took us a while to decide on what we want. We ordered the organic mini Dutch pancakes with berries to share, Chicken mozzarella melt tartine with avocado (extra charge), turkey bacon & avocado tartine with an organic egg (extra charge), and a toasted paris ham & Gruyère croissant. For drinks, we ordered apple juice, an americano, and an iced latte. Everything was delicious and full of flavor! I highly recommend the mini Dutch pancakes with berries. It was light and scrumptious! The dishes were quite big so I'm sure you can share. We didn't. We were too busy devouring it. We became very quiet when the food came out. I believe I was breathing in my food.. For those who are watching their calories, their calorie count is pretty low. I had a hard time looking for something that was over 500 calories.. That's why I added the extra side order of organic egg with my meal! I thought it was very helpful to see the calories on the menu next to the dish. It would've been nice if the macros would've been posted but I'm not complaining! I plan on coming here more often to try out the different menu items and to read. I'm not sure what the time limit is to stay there but I guess I'll find out and update this review!“
“I have been meaning to stop by this bakery for a while. I grabbed a Too Good To Go recently, so it made me keep a promise to myself to visit. The entire neighborhood smells delicious from their baking. You walk in and are overwhelmed with the huge variety of delicious looking baked treats. It's more like a cafe inside than a traditional bakery. The woman behind the counter was very friendly and gave us our box. The treats within were beyond amazing. “If you like apples and anything made with apples you need to come to Jericho Cider Mill!It's not a huge store by any means and you have to park along 106 and walk with the traffic but it's well worth the visit once you're inside. Shelves and shelves of jams (including moonshine jam!), apple cider doughnuts, pies, cider, and other various goodies. Fairly priced and a fast moving line with a helpful staff. I always warm up their cider and it hits the spot each time. Not too sweet but also not too tart. The doughnuts are heaven and so fresh. I do need to try their jams next time I visit. Very much worth the impossible parking situation (wear boots) to get some apple goodness.“
