“This was my first time visiting the store. My experience was good when I went to the store to place my order. My previous order was placed online for delivery with my colleagues at work.

A young woman working behind the counter immediately asked I needed anything and I gave her my order. However, when I arrived to work I noticed that my order was incorrect. It was on a wrap when it should have been on bread as I specifically requested.

I dislike when businesses give you an incorrect order simply because someone wasn’t listening. Nevertheless, I still enjoyed my food. Their smoothies are extremely delicious. I’ve tried three different food options from the menu and they were all awesome.”

“I was supposed to get breakfast from McDonald's and saw the sign while parking. I decided to treat myself to something different. I ordered the Lox #3... Toasted onion bagel with cream cheese, red onion, tomato, avocado, lox, and capers. Delicious ? ❤️
Fresh and tasty ingredients with a nice upbeat atmosphere. I will definitely return to this place for this item. I might change the type of bagel ... but keep what goes in between.
It's definitely filling and worth the $14 I spent.

“we’ve all been to hundreds of mcdonald’s, but i have to say this is the best one you’ll ever come across. The staff are super supportive, polite, compassionate and professional. The environment is very clean and the cherry on the cake is that your food comes out pretty fast. when you are at the kiosk they will even come up to you for any help. i’ve never experienced such courtesy in any other mcdonald’s. the management here are doing a excellent job. please keep up the great work and thank you for serving our community :)”

“I was there at Jian Nan Syosset, Long Island. Everything went great!! But, those took the orders needed to be more educated to understand each dishes. We were a fairly larger group than standard party size. Some dished were small and some dim sum served with small quantities, like 3 or 4. Those who order for the large group, should give suggestion to order multiple orders for the same dish. So, each one in the group can have at least one.”

“Oh my gosh. Food was so good! Seafood and soft tofu stew with white rice and a bunch of free side dishes… for a very reasonable $20. Coming back to try everything on the menu!”

“I’ve been to Chongqing Laozao many times, and it never disappoints. The broth is always rich, flavorful, and full of that authentic Chongqing heat I love. The restaurant is clean, comfortable, and has a great atmosphere — perfect every time I come for hotpot.

I also want to give a special compliment to our server Doudou. She’s always warm, attentive, and very professional. She explains the menu clearly, brings out dishes promptly, and checks on our table just at the right times. Whether it’s refilling the broth or helping with anything we need, she handles everything with a smile.

Thanks to Chongqing Laozao for consistently great food, and special thanks to Doudou for her excellent service. She really makes every visit even more enjoyable.”

“I'll try to keep this to the point —

I gave Food/Service/Atmosphere 5 🌟 because they were on par for me. For a local spot, this really took me by surprise.

What I ordered:

Miso Soup:
Standard Miso Soup, nothing groundbreaking, but very tasty. Would have loved a tad more tofu & scallion, but that's just me.

Salmon Avocado Hand roll:
Not the hand roll I expected meaning it wasn't in the cone shape I'm familiar with, but it came presented like a taco with the seaweed as the shell. Salmon cuts were huge, and with great colour, avocado was bright & ripe, coupled with the perfect amount of rice. Everything tasted clean, and fresh.

Yellowtail Jalapeno Nigiri:
I messed up with this, originally I wanted a sushi roll, but my brain flubbed. Great mistake though, because the yellowtail was delicious, practically melted in my mouth, topped with a delicate cut of jalapeno on top.

Love Milk Tea:
Honestly, just a really delicious milk tea topped with osmanthus flower. It was light, refreshing, and not too sweet thankfully.

Wagyu Tataki:
Tataki is meant to be briefly seared on the outside, but the center remains raw. Was this seared to the degree I wanted? No. But, was it delicious? Yes. And the meat was incredibly tender, flavour of the sauces really complimented everything on the plate.

I finished off with a matcha cheesecake to go, I'm sure it'll be good.

With tip, I spent $67

Again, for a local spot in Richmond Hill/Kew Gardens, I was thoroughly impressed and satisfied. Personally, with slight adjustments, these folks would do great in midtown. I spent a little under what I would spend at a restaurant in the city, and got an incredibly satisfying meal, and left full.”

The food was packed with flavor and definitely impressed the whole table.
Lamb and beef kebabs were well spiced; Glass noodles in sesame sauce were a surprising hit—everyone at the table loved them!
The BBQ lamb rack was a standout: incredibly tender, juicy, and full of flavor.
Great place for group gatherings or casual dining. I’d definitely come back!”
