“This bright and cheerful little place is a vegan food oasis in the desert for this happy vegan diner. We only visit this area 2 or 3 times a year and we always make it a point to stop in for some fresh, delicious lentil burgers and a few sides. This time, we had the patty melt and a California burger - both really flavorful. We had to rush to catch the bus (replacement for train again ?) and didn't try the desert, but the blueberry cobbler looked beautiful and yummy. Service here is always friendly and fast. I wish we could eat here more often.“

“I truly can't say enough about the fine folks at Breathless. They get to know you, your dietary needs, and always have something up the sleeve to get your body and mind in alignment. I've been trying to find a good tea that is earthy but not sour or gritty, and expressed this to Nicholas and Dawn Marie, the owners. The next thing I know there's a package in the mail with "Trinitea," an Ethiopian Tea made of Morgina, Alfalfa, and Mint. The tea is anything but bitter, and has a nice smooth flavor with a light tang instead of a bite. It reminds me of a better version of "throat coat," and doesnt have the weird aftertaste that lingers in Throat Coat. For someone who sings for a living, this is a great daily supplement to save your voice and start your morning. It's made from herbs from the Holy Land and is blessed and created by good hands, and I recommend the Trinitea to anyone who is looking for something to improve their routine and help maintain their voice!“

“All of the proceeds from what you buy in the cafe go toward the Kadampa fund that helps build more Kadampa centers and temples worldwide. They've always got fresh espresso from their espresso machine, and serve Americanos and lattes and more. They also have a variety of caffeinated or non caffeinated teas, or you can just get a cold drink from the drink fridge. On Sundays, after Prayers for World Peace, they typically have scones, muffins, cookies, and the like. During busy festivals, they typically also have a variety of cake or pie slices, including my favorite pistachio ricotta cheesecake or their homemade carrot cake. It's open to the public during any public event day, or is home to many Kadampa practitioners relaxing and conversing when not in a class/session.“
