“I am a local and I work in Mt Pocono. I have been stoping by once in a while in the morning to get a breakfast sandwich. Taylor ham egg and cheese with spk. They do an excellent job making my favorite sandwich!!!! I order about 10 mins ahead of time and it’s always ready waiting for me. I also have had there lattes and they are good as well. Been there about 5 times and I will keep going! This is my new breakfast sandwich spot.“

“The kids had fun, but someone should have taught the kids how to fall while bouldering. My son is a climber and works in a few different gyms. He shared with me the proper way to fall so I could reach the kids, but he was shocked they didn't teach the kids this so they wouldn't get hurt.“

“My family decided to visit Caribbean Deck Cafe while we were vacationing in the Poconos. From the moment we walked in, Shaine treated us like family! He allowed us to taste test a few dishes and we enjoyed talking to him about all kinds of things. As for the food itself, it felt like we were at Shaine's backyard barbeque! He kept piling it on and the portions were huge! We tried the curry goat (my favorite, though everything could arguably be considered a favorite!), the oxtail, stew chicken, and jerk chicken - each dish was full of flavor, hot/fresh, and oh so satisfying! The curry goat was seasoned to perfection, the oxtail was meaty and tasty, the stew chicken meat was fall-off-the-bone (see photo), and the spicy homemade jerk sauce was out of this world! Anytime we go to the Poconos, we plan on being back here for sure. The sides consisted of plantains and cabbage, and both paired very well with each meal. Rice options are rice and peas or white rice (rice was delicious). We dined in and appreciated the large plates and overall attentive experience. After our meal, Shaine hooked us up with sweet potato pudding and Hennessy cake on the house! And I must say: Both hit the spot! The sweet potato pudding was like a slice of sweet potato pie with pudding consistency - it was hot and sweet, and it was exactly what I needed after the amazing meal. Hennessy cake gave me rum cake vibes (note: I don't drink alcohol and am far from a connoisseur) and it was also great! We want to thank Shaine for really going above and beyond to take care of our family. The Poconos community is blessed to have him and Caribbean Deck Cafe! Every 5-Star Review is well-earned/well-deserved, and you will NOT regret visiting. Very highly recommended!!!“

“If the amount of time we spent here is any indication... we loved it! We spent 2 hours exploring the menu and enjoying our couples' time together. The place is very cozy and intimate. They have a retro, warm, inviting decor with a notable single tapered candle surrounded by a glass chimney on the counter. The kitchen is very small but packed with some fun, top-level, modern equipment. We started with a sage tea, a very berry smoothie, lox, and a ham and cheese croissant sandwich with a side salad. Later, we tried a matcha affigato, blueberry muffin, and a vanilla latte to conclude our visit. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will return! There is a spa and inn attached, which we hope to check out in the future! There are about 6 tables outdoors over two separate areas, which would be fun to relax at when the weather is warmer. They were very friendly and welcoming during our extended stay.“
