I first became aware of Bridgeview Tavern through mutual friends that had raved about the food, and in particular one item on the menu that I had to try. This was the Chicago style Italian Beef. As a Chicago native I was of course skeptical that 10 hours away from the Windy City there could be such a highly lauded Italian Beef. Cool little place stopped in on a Saturday night . Seated right away not very busy probably due to the weather that night. Ordered a smash burger and appetizer of wings. Good atmosphere food and service. Nice bar area up front also with a good selection of beers on tap.

Dinner at the Bridgeview tonight was incredible! My friend had the Italian beef sandwich and I had a salad with grilled steak. My steak was cooked to perfection, tender and juicy over a beautiful salad fit for a king. The Italian beef was packed with flavor!!!
