“Nohara Ramen is the solid choice for Great Neck and the surrounding area.The Char Siu that is served with some of the ramen is tender and tasty. Many of the appetizers such as the Nohara Fries and fried chicken are well prepared. I’ve gotten to know the staff in this restaurant since we do take out from them each week and eat in once in a while.Good people making and serving good food. This restaurant survived through COVID based on their commitment and quality.”

“Went on a Monday night and we were greeted by the friendly staff and seated promptly. The food that we ordered was all quite yummy! The standout being the veggie chips! Branzino and shrimp tacos were good too. The restaurant ambiance is nice..good spot for a casual dinner or a sit down lunch. Overall a solid spot!”

“I love their smoothies! It's all made with real fruit which is amazing. Açaí bowls are okay, it can be a hit or miss as sometimes it is a bit watery. Some days it's great, somedays eh. Service is nice and efficient. Little seating but it is usually not occupied, this is more a to-go spot. Perfect pick-me-up and very filling.”

“Just about everything is good here. The only thing I cannot recommend is the lemon chicken rice soup, which to my taste has too much lemon - but that’s only one person’s opinion. The lunch rush is just that - a lunch RUSH; the place is extremely crowded on weekdays from about 12 noon to 1:30. But if you’re willing to wait you won’t regret it.”

I orders a beef rib soup and it was only broth with some vegetables, a large soup with absolutely no beef rib whatsoever. According to them it's like that. Never heard of something like this before.”

“We have come to this location many times. Employees here are very kind and try to help even if sometimes they're on the newer side. We were helped today by a girl named Sam who was particularly memorable in providing great service (coming from my partner who is a former Starbucks supervisor)! Drinks are always good and reliable Starbucks quality. They also oblige and correctly fulfill my request for crazy amounts of java chips in my frappachinos because I love the sweet crunchiness. “Food is great, service is top notch (Jason is very kind and attentive) and sauce bar is great. They now have a dessert bar too which has a lot of toppings. Bathroom is extremely clean and stocked with all sorts of amenities. Definitely recommend.”

“Omakase was aite. Took very long for each course to come out. Approximate time was 2 hours for the entire 12 omakase set. It was 7 pieces of sushi, 1 sorta handroll, 3 appetizers and one dessert.”

You need to know what to order in this place, otherwise, the dining experience could be unpleasant to your palates. The ribs in the cage looked fun but not impressive while eating them. “Went here last weekend to have lunch with our daughter who goes to St. Johns. Parked right on the corner (Metered ) no parking lot for those wanting to know. Mostly college crowd. Service was quick and good. Photos from others are the same as ours so i won't post. We would definitely go back again.”

“I attended a surprise party this Saturday evening. The cuisine was preselected, waiter service was excellent, should receive raises. The table arrangement was very poor. The party was downstairs in one of the private rooms. We were 25 people at one very long table, basically the length of the room, which made it difficult for guests to get around the seated persons at the head of the table on either side. Having two tables would have been a better arrangement, but one long table was not conducive for conversation since we were so far from the other end of the table. The food; not many complaints, I really didn’t have a problem. I didn’t have a lot of food, but it was delicious. The dessert, sorry not very good. Those Famous Crepes(palacinkes) sorry not that great. A lot of crepe and not a lot of filling. The dish was served with fruit, unfortunately this fruit was not in season, so the watermelon although it added color to the dish, upon tasting it, left much to be desired. Why not serve fruit that is in season? No offense to my party hosts who selected my menu for the evening, it didn’t lend itself to the 5 Star Reputation of Dubrovnik’s. I would like to make reservations and splurge on a dinner on my own, I have a feeling I would LOVE the experience! Btw, another plus was the parking!”

The only thing I had a problem with that The Collard Greens and String Beans was cook with pork and I don’t eat pork. And I really wanted them Collard Greens. I know Golden Corral is base on the South but can They be some Collard Greens and String Beans cooked in turkey meat for the near future?”

“Very impressed with the food. Most impressed by the steak (recommend medium cooked). One of the best. Pastas and scallop were all delicious as well. Appetizer also very good, particularly the large shrimps and small clams. But not a fan of the appetizer with the potato. Unlimited bread that were very tasty. House wine was good. “Although our service was not good (our waiter insisted that we ordered too much and asked us to reduce the number of items!, it was just the 2 of us, but really? We ended up finishing everything), but still, the food was phenomenal. The flavor of the spicy sauce was the best I’ve ever had. They stir-fry rice was also the best fried rice you will ever taste. Although you need to wait a while to be seated and your service might be a hit or a miss. Would recommend this (10/10) to all hot pot lovers and to anyone who enjoys the taste of aromatic spices rather than just spicy food.”
