“Ouch! Not sure if this Carvel is under new management, or if some people just live to throw shade (y'all realize that one star is like getting a 20 on a test, right? Or is that too much math for you?) I will say that I can't comment on their cakes. I do know that when it comes to ice cream cake, not all Carvels are the same, not even close. We've used the Carvel in Plainview for cakes, but if all we want is some ice cream, we hit the Greenlawn Carvel. We've been to this Carvel location more than a few times, and everyone's happy with both the soft-serve, and the "hard" ice cream. I don't really have much else to add, what more can you say about an ice cream shop? 4 out of 5, extra star for being in the same strip mall as Deli 51, who doesn't love Deli 51.“

“The best in Suffolk county in my opinion very large assortment of eye and pallet pleasing selections w excellent customer service if you know of the famous alpine bakery you will spend way less here for better quality and selection make the switch it's worth the savings 10 “

Whisk not only makes delicious, moist cakes but they are absolutely stunning and priced right. I just bought my second cake from them. One in March and went back and ordered again in April. “I ordered a Barbie themed cake and gluten free cupcakes for my daughter's 5th bday and the flavors were incredible! The Barbie cake was strawberry cake with strawberry buttercream filling with vanilla frosting while the gluten-free cupcakes, which I refuse to share with anyone, were a chocolate cupcake with cannoli filling and almond frosting. He made suggestions for best results before serving and offered to decorate the cake further for us.The cake was as I remembered and I was transported back to my childhood and savoured each mouthful.Carvel has my heart!“

“Brian designed our dream cake for our October Friday the 13th wedding. We went in with some ideas, bits and pieces from multiple photos and what was created blew our minds. Everyone was speechless when it came out. Aside from the delicious taste of the cake itself the details and time that was poured into it is one that we truly appreciate and love. We been to the shop multiple times before the wedding just to grab some goodies because everything is tasty and above the typical/traditional desserts you’d expect. Highly recommended bakery for sure.“

“i normally don't leave reviews but they were so so sweet, fantastic customer service and the man who decorated the cake was very efficient and did a beautiful job. unfortunately i wasn't carrying cash on me to leave a tip, they don't take tips on card just a heads up!! so i went back to my car and grabbed whatever i had & went back in. like seriously lovely people thanks guys didn't catch ur names“

“Stopped in today for some dessert after a quick, casual dinner in town. Lots of choices of cookies, pastries and cakes.We ordered a Yellow cake with chocolate frosting that was very good. They also offered to customize a message on the cake.Fresh and the icing was not too sweet.Friendly service, Clean.We would stop by again when craving some fresh baked cake, YUM.“

“This was my second visit to this adorable shop. The displays are always filled with delightful treats and an amazing variety. Last time, we sampled one of each of their macarons. Perfection. From the feet on the macarons to the light but flavorful fillings, we knew we had to return for more treats. This visit the macaron shelf was filled with small individual cakes. We could not resist. We tried the carrot cake and red velvet cakes and I opted for a black and white cookie as well. Service was fast and the ladies at this shop are very amicable. I appreciate and value good service and this location is top notch. The store is clean and they have a drink station also. We will most definitely be coming back again. I just have to try the spritz cookies. I would like to perhaps get an assortment to try one of each.“

“Recently celebrated my daughter’s birthday with a custom cake. Being a Taylor Swift fan, she insisted on a Taylor Swift them and Cake Don did not disappoint. The cake was beyond my imagination. I would highly recommend Cake Don for custom cakes!“

“Walk in door no one there except for one worker, no hello, ice cream good, one table very wobbly needs to be fix before someone gets hurt, and do not like store that change 4 percent for a credit card it should be be add in the price already,“

“The last time I went to an Ice Cream store that provides their own custom flavors was in Carey, North Carolina. This store is located in a small strip mall with ample parking. From what I read; Ice Cream Social has several flavors of ice cream along with vegan flavors. They do have traditional flavors such as vanilla, chocolate, and cookie dough, but they are constantly designing new flavors. I tried many flavors before choosing the pumpkin pie flavor ice cream. But I did also like the apple cider donut and Coco Almond Joy. Next time I will explore other interesting creations. The staff was kind enough to afford me the opportunity to taste many creative flavors. It was not easy to settle on just one flavor. I recall a family member explaining to me what it takes to create these interesting flavors, and he stated it is all in the Cream mix. If you want to enjoy high quality ice cream with many creative flavors, one must indulge in Ice Cream Social.“
