“Kayla was our server, and supplied the vibe. She recommended the Speck pizza with hot honey, and that pizza changed my life. So damn good! The Italian sodas are also good, if you love natural ginger flavor, the apple ginger one for sure hits.“

“Have passed this pizzeria many times and never went in cause I just thought the parking was too difficult . Someone told me today that this was their favorite pizza in Plainview ( it at the border of Plainview and Hicksville on Woodbury road and south oyster bay road). I asked why and he said , it's the cheesiest! Anyway, I decided to try it and was very pleased. I had a cauliflower pizza which was excellent and I could present it was healthier. The regular slice was also good and really cheesy as promised. Inside the dining room is nicer than you can tell from the outside. The staff are efficient and accommodating. You can park on the street , but they DO have a parking lot in back, around the corner. Gotta say, although I haven't been here for 28 years, I plan to return.“

“I was very skeptical of this place at first, but it was amazing. So the concept is Italian-Mexican food. It works. And it works very well.We ordered 3 tacos as well as the surf and turf quesadilla. I was absolutely blown away by the taste and quality of everything. The quesadilla was one of the best I've had in a long time. The steak was juicy, the shrimp wasn't chewy, and the flavors were amazing. For tacos, we got the ital-Americano, chicken parm, and maialino. Every one was tasty in its own way. The Ital-Americano was super juicy, the chicken parm was just delicious chicken parm in a shell, and the mialino was juicy with just the right amount of spice.I need to remember next time to sign up for the rewards program since I know I'll be back there a lot.Parking: Parking all over.“

“Great find. I was in the neighborhood and found this place. It had that local pizza joint feel and felt very homey. I had a slice with a perfect fold and pepperoni garlic knots. That was just lunch. It was so good I came back for dinner. The guys behind the counter were really sweet and nice. Dinner was penne alla vodka and Tracy's salad. Delicious food. Table bread and butter worked up an appetite, but lacked the fresh baked aroma. Calamari and chicken Francese pizzas were pretty awesome and very different. A little tough to eat the slices with the heavy and saucy toppings, but a fork and knife worked like a charm. Happy to return for another round.“

First we came in on a Friday around 6:30 with our toddler, our waiter Nick immediately saw that she was starving and said he would throw her dish in first, which came out astronomically fast. Nick was super friendly & attentive, our pizza took a while to come out which my husband and I were ok with but the manager noticed herself and came over and offered us a free dessert, it got to the time where my toddler had to go lol so we just opted for the check and since we couldn’t take the dessert they gave us 20% off. “My daughter and I used to be regulars in this pizzeria. They offer a dish I have found nowhere else I've ever eaten. So I just so happen to look them up on here. All the food is great but the Chicken mona Lisa steals the show. My hours used to be crazy but the family would allow my daughter and I to dine while they were cleaning up and technically closed for the day. My daughter is now 24 and has a son of her own but we still reminisce about the good times in this establishment. The family atmosphere was as 2nd to none. They have a big selection of slices available , I usually get the brick oven pizzetta which is delicious. Their garlic knots are some of the best around. “I had to get a catering order in quickly for a weekday event. The gentleman who took care of my order was so helpful. He offered choices that were good for the event size and type. The storefront is a little difficult to get to during dinner time because it shares the parking lot with a very popular restaurant that does a valet service for their patrons, which means cars and crammed and lined up where you need to go. Villa Maria has a few of their parking spots, so as long as you're able to get through the mess in the front, there should be space in the back. They threw in garlic bread for free & made sure that the food was packaged very well. I had brought my own boxes to anticipate difficult transfer, but there was no need. Food was pretty good, stayed hot until I needed to serve it. It looks a little run down inside, but I would say this is a pretty solid joint for take-out. I would order a catering package from them again.“
