“Two of the burgers I ordered were wrong, I double checked the receipt and they were put in correctly but made wrong ... I'm sure if I had gone up and asked them to be fixed they would have but they were very busy and I was in a bit of a hurry, so I chose not to. That being said they still tasted pretty good after I scraped off the pickles and sauce. The chocolate shake was decent but not my favorite. I would very much have appreciated a condiment station of some sort to put ketchup on the burger. Even though I wasn't super happy with the food I still think they deserve 5 stars, it's a new business and you can tell they are trying and are getting any kinks worked out. I look forward to trying it again in the future and hopefully having a better experience with the food.“
“Once upon a chilly evening in Buffalo, as the snowflakes fell gracefully from the sky, I found myself engaged in an epic billiards battle with my boys. We were in the heart of the city, and the competition was fierce. But little did we know, our night was about to take an unexpected twist. As the game intensified, our stomachs began to grumble louder than the pool balls clinking together. Desperate for some sustenance, we ventured out into the frosty night in search of a bite to eat. To our surprise, most places had closed their doors early due to the snowstorm, leaving us in quite a pickle. That's when we stumbled upon a shining beacon of hope – Five Guys! Not only were they open, but the aroma of sizzling burgers and fresh-cut fries welcomed us like an old friend. We couldn't believe our luck, and the warmth of the restaurant was a stark contrast to the cold outside. We entered, and the staff greeted us with cheerful smiles, despite the late hour. Being a lover of branding and business, I couldn't help but admire their efficient operation and branding consistency. The place wasn't bustling with activity, but the staff was on top of their game.As we placed our orders, the anticipation grew. I ordered their classic cheeseburger with all the toppings, while Roman opted for a bacon cheeseburger. They were thrilled to dive into their cheeseburgers. We grabbed a hightop and as we waited for our food, we regaled each other with tales of our epic billiards showdown. The ambiance was quiet, and we could hardly contain our excitement. When the food arrived, it was like heaven on a tray. The burgers were juicy, the toppings were fresh, and the fries were perfectly crispy. Each bite was a burst of flavor, and we couldn't help but share our delight with the Five Guys team.Between bites, I couldn't resist discussing their brilliant marketing strategies, even in the midst of a late-night snack. The boys were busy declaring that these were the best cheeseburgers they had ever tasted. As we finished our meal, we couldn't help but leave Five Guys with huge smiles on our faces. They had saved our evening with their delicious food and top-notch service, making it a memorable night of billiards and burgers.Five Guys, you are the true champions of the late-night munchies game in Buffalo, and we are forever grateful for your open doors and fantastic burgers. If I could give you six stars, I would – but for now, five stars and a heartwarming story will have to do.Thank you for being our culinary heroes on that snowy Buffalo night!“
“The biggest plus of this seasonal location is the access to playgrounds for the kids while one parent waits in line for food. Plenty of seating outdoors, and while the parking lot is a busy one, it is a big lot. I'm writing this in October and they are already closed for the season (they typically open right before Easter, close between mid-Sept and Columbus Day), we went here at least 7 to 8 times this summer for quick and easy dinners with my family enjoys (and I don't need to make myself). Try their burgers or one of their shakes! I also really enjoy their straight-cut fries (they're known for their curlies, but I think the straight fries are more flavorful).Dietary restrictions: dinners are made to order, so just note your dietary needs at the ordering counter. No vegan alternatives, just omit the cheese/protein, etc. to fit your needs.Parking: parking on busy nights (nice weather days, the height of summer and on weekends) can be tough to get a spot, but if you wait a few minutes, you'll likely catch someone leaving.Kid-friendliness: 2 good-size playgrounds and a bunch of areas to picnic and play in the grass! Playgrounds keep the kids busy for long enough, and both have woodchips in play areas.Wheelchair accessibility: their entrance and food ordering is not very ADA friendly....front vestibule is a little tight and may be hard to navigate with wheelchairs. Ordering and pick up counter is bar height+, but I have seen their staff arrange alternative ordering and pick ups at the break in the counter.“
“Just like I remembered it when I lived in Hamburg in the 70's. This was a favorite of my parents and remember going when I was a little girl. One of our first stops when we were visiting Buffalo. Amazing hot dogs and fries, so happy I got to go back and experience this again!“
“BOCO is a hidden treasure in the southtowns. The prices are fair, and the food is beyond compare. I would recommend anyone in the city make the trip out for their pasta, and appetizers. Vegetarians will find plenty of dishes available!Dietary restrictions: Great vegetarian options and gluten free options as well.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access“
“The food was amazing and reasonably priced! 5 dollar kids menu! Their signature irish red beer is outstanding! Our waitress was as sweet as pie and so good to my little boy. They get an A plus for cleanliness! So good we're going back for Mom's birthday dinner and St. Paddy's celebration! There's plenty of seating and separate from the bar, which is great for families.“
