“We have stopped here for slices several times when passing through town. Staff is always friendly. Pizza is pretty good. Great option for a quick lunch or dinner on the road.”
“One word... LEGIT. Burgers are excellent, fries are excellent, and the chicken nuggets are (you guessed it) excellent. The place has a good vibe. If you're in Utica and need some good food at a good place, Rooster's it is my friends.”
“Wonderful food and even nicer people. Spent a weekend in the Utica area and decided to stop here for lunch. We felt like we were having lunch with family. Everyone was so kind and friendly. Ended up ordering the lamb gyro and the salad with chicken shawarma. Both dishes were delicious and very fresh. The owner, Layla, offered us coffee that was rich and tasty. It is very difficult to replicate the kind of service you find here. We would not hesitate to come back again if we were in the area.”
“I feel staff was very courteous helpful friendly and food was excellent nice portions nice atmosphere nobody was in a rush I would recommend the prices of a reasonable recommend anybody that wants good breakfast or lunch go there”
“The food is great, I've yet to try anything I didn't enjoy! The fried chicken is the bomb, the bao buns are amazing, the gyoza is delicious, I could honestly list the entire menu it's all so good and they have the BEST fruit slushies and boba teas. The guys working are always super friendly and get the food out fast, hot and fresh. I seriously love Nanabi!”
“Food was delicious! Service was great! The atmosphere is quaint!A group of pickleball players invaded the place. The owners were wonderful! I'll definitely return! ?”
“Heres the scoop, This is the best burger in Utica! Its a one man show and Jeff is fun the whole while he runs it.Its charm comes from.it being a 1 man operations and because he does it so well he earns a 5 star for being unique!I want to explain my 5 stars for atmosphere becasue it would be harder for you to find a smaller place however that again adds to the charm.I love this place!”
“I just stopped in with a friend and had their Holy Chese and Ham, Batman! with a side of Potatoe Salad and a Chai Latte. An awesome and unique taste experience! Friendly staff, mellow atmosphere.”
“Went to dinner on a Friday night after work with friends, dinner and the waitress were wonderful. I would definitely recommend to go to dinner at Joey's 307.”
“One Arabian Night (Marib Restaurant) in Utica, NY offers diverse and authentic Arabian cuisine at affordable prices. Located at 706 Varick St, this restaurant provides a delightful culinary experience with a blend of traditional decor and modern elegance. Enjoy a variety of flavorful dishes that showcase the rich heritage of Arabian cuisine in a welcoming atmosphere.”
“Have frequented Motus on previous occasions as pre show place to have dinner. Reminds me of the NYC Midtown restaurants. I had the trout dinner which was one of the best fish dinners I've ever had. The broth fully complimented the trout. Highly recommend Motus.”
“Great spot for expresso done the right way. I was initially going for a double, but then I saw they have affogato, vanilla ice cream with coffee, so I ended up with a single and a dessert (AND a spinach pastry). Very nice atmosphere and use of the space they have, will be back next time I'm in Utica.”
“Our first time going here and it surely won't be our last. Four of us went and were seated quick. Waitress came right over and took our drink order and brought menus. We asked her questions about the dinner items and her suggestions were perfect. Service was great and the food tasted fantastic. Food was plentiful and we brought leftovers home. This restaurant is a must go to if you love great well prepared Mexican food. And for entertainment they have a robot food carrier, a first for me to see. We all really enjoyed our meals, which I also thought was extremely fair priced. We will definitely be back.”
“I stopped on a whim with my wife not realizing that this is a gluten free dairy free restaurant. When I realized that this was the case I was apprehensive because I am not on a restricted diet. So we ordered a panini and burger with fries and I was worried for no reason. The food was really good and well seasoned the fries were delicious and came with a dipping sauce. We have a few friends that will love to hear about this place. We also had a couple cupcakes which were very good also. I could tell the burger bun and cupcakes were gluten free but they were good tasting and I would not think twice about coming back again. If you have dietary restrictions this is a good place for you to try. If you don't, don't worry the food is good and you can support your family that needs this.”
“My wife and I came here a coupe of times while in town visiting family. I'm still thinking about how delicious the latte, drip coffee, and americano all were. How did she make an americano taste so delicious?”
“This place serves the best food in town, and the owner is the most lovely person here. I visited a couple months ago on a long-distance bike trip with my partner, and we stumbled across Sazon Frank in Utica and it was, by far, the BEST meal we've had - the spicy stew chicken is delicious. It's a hot bar with plenty of options and you won't leave hungry, that's for sure. The owner is so sweet and you will leave with a happy belly and a happy soul! Thank you so much!”
“I had been to Nail Creek many times, but never had anything to eat. This time, I went for lunch and got the lunch special which was a hot dog with white beef chili on top alongside fries. It was absolutely delicious and I hope it's a special again next time I'm in. My friend got shrimp tacos and was equally satisfied with her choice. They have a great draft selection, with something for everyone, and service was great. The bartenders are super friendly. The place itself has an old charm to it while still seeming modern, is clean and well-maintained. I definitely want to go back for their brunch menu!”
“The lo mein was amazing and the sushi was fresh! Everything was super tasty. The price is very affordable. Pretty cozy dining atmosphere. But the outside needs some work lol we were very skeptical when we arrived there because it was so dark. We literally were thinking like “should we go in?”. But I’m glad we did! Will definitely go back to check out more dishes.”
“Stopped in here after a run on the canal trail. We had 2 pepperoni slices and hot wings. Both were excellent. Pizza is NY style with a perfect crust. Wings were crispy, hot, and well seasoned.”
“This is my favorite place to eat while visiting central NY. The food is amazing. Hummus, Kibbe, tabbouleh, fresh pita bread, it's all absolutely amazing. Seagan and Mary are the nicest people you'll ever meet. This is a must stop location if you enjoy Middle Eastern food!Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair ramp attached to the front door and wide paths throughout.”
“Best hot dog I have had in a long time!!! Sweet Potato Fried were amazing and you get to choose your dipping sauce. Staff super friendly and place is very clean!”
“Sweet place! Be careful you might want to buy one of each... I mean they really have the best pusty's (Italian pastry) around, and some nice choices too! You'll get service with a smile when you are ordering and that makes everything look better! And the chocolate eclairs are so creamy, chocolatey, and delicious !”
“Nice place to grab a beer and chill. Food was good and my friends got married there last summer and the team there did a great job hosting the wedding. They also have volleyball and softball teams that play at different times of the year that you can sign up for. You definitely have to check this place out for yourself!!!!”
“El Barajo has long been on my list of restaurants to try in the Utica area. We finally ordered lunch from there via UberEats and were very pleased with our meal. We ordered the pollo guisado, camaronfongo, and a vegetable empanada. All three were delicious, but I especially enjoyed the pollo guisado. The chicken--all dark meat, which I prefer--was melt-off-the-bone tender and very well-seasoned. We opted for yellow rice and black beans as sides, which were excellent accompaniments. My kids also loved this dish. I really loved the flavors of the camaronfongo (basically mofongo with shrimp), but only wish that there was more broth to pair with the mofongo. The mofongo was a bit dry, and I needed some more sauce or broth to moisten it and cut through the density. The fried vegetable empanada was crispy and delicious. The portions were generous; our order was enough for two adults and two toddlers, with leftovers enough for an adult's full meal.”
“Holland Farms has been around since I was a kid! It fondly reminds me of my childhood and visiting my Grandparents. They have the best baked goods!! When I come up to the Utica area to visit family, I love to stop and get some "goodies" to bring home! ”
“I order from Symeon's from time to time, but this time we decided to go for a sit-down dinner and I'm glad we did! Service was excellent and our server was great. There are a couple different dining areas; one feels more like a typical restaurant dining room and the other felt more diner-ish so the layout and vibe is a bit different than what I expected. I ordered the Xanthi pita sandwich and loved it, especially the crispy eggplant in it! If you're a dessert person, try the Baklava Cheesecake!”
“I was a first time customer today. I stopped in while doing some street photography to grab some coffee. it was a pleasant experience. Very clean place and friendly staff!”
“I came in with my client from a disabled living home. The owner and workers were absolutely fantastic with both myself and my client. The food was excellent. The pizza definitely earns 5 stars. I appreciate the authentic style and traditional design. I would highly recommend.”

“Nice little restaurant. Impromptu stop passing through town. We picked up Orange Ginger Muffins which were really good. For breakfast, we tried the Pistacio Stuffed French Toast and Cranberry Apple Waffles (to go). They were delicious!”
