“Went out for a friend's lunch today and decided to try Joey's 307 per the phenomenal reviews I've seen over the past 5+ years (I can understand why, and can't believe it took us this long to find this hidden gem! ) AND they are now open for lunch!! We ordered a few items to share (which was not a problem at all) the food, the atmosphere and the service were ALL spot on. Calamari (Providence), The house antipasto, stuffed long hots, and an order of greens. Can't wait to go back and try more of what chef Matt has to offer! Thank you for a wonderful lunch and wonderful conversation ?”

“Have frequented Motus on previous occasions as pre show place to have dinner. Reminds me of the NYC Midtown restaurants. I had the trout dinner which was one of the best fish dinners I've ever had. The broth fully complimented the trout. Highly recommend Motus.”

“Love the food here! I typically get the chicken riggies, along with the shrimp cocktail. When they offered the crepes for delivery, I would get that too!However, I've noticed this trend where it's nearly impossible to order takeout. This has happened on multiple occasions and more often within the last few months. I find that when it is open, and I do order, the order is immediately cancelled and only then is the takeout/delivery option unavailable for the rest of the night.Again, I love the food. I'm not going out to dinner alone, however, and it's consistently disappointing when you're craving the ever-so delicious Ancora riggies only to have your dinner plans pulled from you with no explanation.”

“Best restaurant in the Utica area, hands down. The corned beef special was the best plate of food I have had in a long time. The meatloaf was wonderful. A great restaurant is one that does everything, even the little things, perfectly. The Tailor and the Cook is just that sort of restaurant. The bar staff and serving team were wonderful. Appetizers were amazing. Just a great experience.”

“The restaurant boasts both incredible food and a warm, welcoming Italian family atmosphere. The lobster ravioli surpassed all expectations, making it the most memorable ravioli experience I've ever had. Ambassador is an absolute must-visit in Utica.”

“We wanted somewhere special to bring family from out of town and Ventura’s was perfect! Our meals and desserts were delicious, the staff was friendly and accommodating, and the atmosphere was elegant and welcoming. We had a wonderful evening and our family loved the experience. “What a nice surprise! Out to dinner for my husband's birthday; Danny did not disappoint! Eight course meal; bean soup, bruschetta and bread, antipasto salad, mussels in garlic wine sauce, greens with beans, eggplant parmesan, sausage in sauce and pasta with meatballs! All so good!! Danny and staff were accommodating and welcoming. We felt like we were having Sunday dinner at Grandma's house. Highly recommend!”

“I always love this restaurant. It is a gem. A couple times a year I ride the Amtrak train to the station and have a nice lunch date there. The food is consistently very good.I would have rated the service a 5 because it is usually very good. However, on this day they closed early, without warning, to prepare for Valentine's Day diners.? We had to take our dessert to go.”

“This place is a gem - BBQ that would rank highly in places that worship BBQ. Chance is a master. He does both traditional and adds twists to appeal to a broader audience. I was there a few weeks ago and am looking forward to getting back as soon as I can. But I live far away! If you're close, eat there often.”

“This is a real "store with a surprise". There is a European flavor to everything.....and the owners are very customer friendly. I would recommend this store very highly. They are honest, and the store is extremely clean and the stock is always fresh. If you ever have a problem, just explain to the owner and he will resolve it. The problem is with parking. You may have to park on a side street and walk a few yards to get to the store entrance. I don't think you can go wrong with anything in the shop. Remember to bring your own bag since in NYS there are restrictions against single use bags.”

“What a lovely place to have Asian fusion. From Bang bang shrimp, sushi & bulgogi rice bowl. Everything was delicious and will definitely head over again before we leave. ?Vanny was a great host/server. Very sweet.”

“It’s a Utica thing kitchen and bar is definitely worth it.. now the location is deceiving don’t look like much but walk in the door you will be surprised.. I was dying for chicken riggies and it’s hard to find good ones a lot of places will say they make good or the best but I know good riggies and they fall short BUT THIS PLACE YUP NAILED IT!! My husband had eggplant parm use to it coming w/a side pasta so that was lacking they gave bread with your meal which was delicious and warm. The salad was good but everything is Al la carte. For the two of us with main dish side salad and my husband had a soda it was 54$..”

“We went there years ago and there were a lot of mix-ups, good food but again a lot of mix-ups. Went there for lunch with my wife and got purses in a cream sauce. And Utica greens and a Sicilian appetizer platter. Very good. I would definitely go back.”
