“Every time I order from here, they offer a few small customizations, such as cheese toasted on the roll, that I take appreciate and feel sets them apart from other local sub places. The pizza is good too. “Consistently good food with speedy delivery and a wide selection of menu items. It might just be the best Salvatore's location in the Rochester area. The dining room isn't quite as big as other locations, but it doesn't deter from the quality of food.“

“The pizza at Montesano's is excellent. I order on a weekly basis and it's always on point cooked just right. The owner is awesome and very attentive to customers. Located right next to the falls and Lehigh valley trails makes the perfect scenery to stop by and get a pie!“

“I was supposed to come here with a friend but he's sick so it's a good thing I like dining solo just fine. I went right after they opened and there were several tables there already. Maybe Solar Eclipse traffic??? I was greeted right away-from across the room actually. I think it was the manager because he made the rounds to the tables asking how everything was later on. I started off with a lemon sour. Delicious. Never had one but if you're looking for a sweet drink this ain't it. It was on special. I was delivered bread with honey butter, pickles and hummus. I thought that was weird but it was actually so good on the bread. I had a piece of Italian bread, some onion bread and probably focaccia. The bread plate was insane-I could have just had bread there and been happy. I ordered a wood fired pizza. I mean that's in the name so that's what I got. It was pretty good. The sauce is on the spicy side. Just enough heat to wake up your tastebuds but not so uncomfortable that your mouth is on fire. I heard the table next to me also was talking about the spice of one of their dishes and talking about their nose running when things are spicy...same girl, same. And my nose was a little runny. I wish the pepperoni had been cup and char but that may have put that pizza over the top with having such a robust sauce. I did indulge in dessert. Against my better judgement because I full! But luckily my dessert stomach stepped her ass up to the plate and took one for the team. I do not think the dessert selection is that fantastic. I think every dessert has some chocolate in it except for the crème brûlée so if you're not a chocolate person, there's not a whole lot to choose from. I really wanted the coconut cake, but that had chocolate ganache on it, and the oatmeal cake just sounded unappealing so I passed on those. The crème brûlée was really good. My server was really good. I can't complain. It's a good place to eat-worth the drive and I liked the atmosphere. I found it to be a little drafty though and I noticed others keeping their coats on. I didn't have a coat so I was a bit chilly the whole meal. Good drink selection, not many appetizers though not that you'll need them. They encourage plate sharing. The pizzas are quite big especially for one!!“

“Great local pizza place. Really love their buffalo chicken calzone! Not only is it just spicy enough, but they make some of the biggest calzones around, packed full with juicy buffalo chicken. Their pizzas are also really good. The only thing that sucks is having to drive all the way to Mendon for this terrific food. Very much wish the Victor location was still open!“

“I didn't dine in, as I was working for a residential house. All but one ordered take out. Parking is good but nearly filled up on a Friday night, but I suppose one could park on the adjacent street.The service was great, prompt and courteous. Place looked visually pleasant and dining room lit well.The food was great!!! Absolutely the Black and Bleu burger was pink in the middle!!! The pizza with steak and Bleu cheese and had a balsamic glaze! Who else has that? Um, no one. If someone else does that let me know. Prices were very fair. But, I noticed a one dollar fee for take out. What? Never heard of that, it sent me scurrying for extra change!! Not cool. ?When people know from the menu the prices; they expect to know the final bill. Probably not coming for take out at this place, I might come for dinner.The parking into building is somewhat accessible, by that I mean there is not a button, you can easily get through the door easily as entry is all flat.I forgot to mention, with the selections you may make a menu item minus meat. Ask if an ingredient can be removed due to allergies, They might be able to do it.“

“A group of 10 of us (6 adults 4children) stopped in for a quick dinner. There was very short line. We were able to order quickly. We ordered 1 pizza for every 2 of us (that's 5 pizzas), along with 2 orders of wings. The pizzas were done very quickly and everyone liked their pizza and the wings. We then had a scoop of hard ice cream each and it too was delicious. The staff were all very feiendly. We all really enjoyed this place and will definitely be back whenever in the area. Highly recommend.“

“I am home for the weekend and haven’t had it since High school decades ago. Wings still strong. The pizza flavor is lovely but the crust is still trash. This is like a girl you’re dating that’s not the best but she’s yours so you always got her back. That’s this.“

“Very High quality pie. Thick crust with a healthy balance of crisp to fluff. Minimal flop. Cheese game was average, quality of cheese underwhelming but quantity was acceptable. Pepperoni was fabulous and sauce was beyond spectacular. Best pizza in New York pizza not in NYC.“

“Don’t be fooled by the mall location. Cosimo’s pizza is seriously the best we’ve had in Rochester. Their pizza has great crust that is light, has perfect “pizza oven crunch” and is flavorful. Their sauce and cheese also have great flavor, and toppings are always fresh and cooked perfectly. The calzones are so filling and to die for. I don’t know why it took us so long to realize we could order full pizzas ahead of time but this is our new pizza night in go-to.“

“My 6 year old and I were in that part of Rochester and hungry. We picked this restaurant because it had a picture of a heart-shaped Pizza, post Valentine's day on the profile. They were very nice to us and let us order that even though it's probably off the specials menu because we are past that "holiday". Anyway, we sat and waited for it in their space which was really built more as a takeout restaurant with a skinny lunch counter. But it was a slow Sunday afternoon for them so I think they humored us. When they brought out the pizza there was this adorable little plastic pizza cutter roller. Don't know if it was given to us because I had the kid with me or it was a promotional thing but I'm keeping it and it was cute. Not super robust but safe enough for my child to cut their own piece of pizza. Would definitely go there again but don't know when that could possibly be!Kid-friendliness: My 6YO felt like an adult because they got to cut their own pizza. Also there were napkin holders everywhere so you know someone was designing it for little (or messy) people.“

“Came all the way from southern Ulster County NY to see the eclipse and came across this joint. I was welcomed by very nice staff and the service was amazingly quick and easy. The pizza was undoubtedly one of the best that i've had out of town! They also offer a free cookie with 2 slices of pizza on lunch hours and the cookies are so freaking delicious. I 100% recommend this restaurant to all locals and tourists! You guys rock!!“

“WOW! My daughter and I are enthusiastic pizza cognoscenti! I'm 75 and have been wolfing down pizza A LOT since starting university in 1967! She actually introduced ME to Rochester's handiest (only?) gourmet pizza place - which has an amazing variety of signature pizzas and artistic toppings, for only TWICE the price of Picraft's wide range of offerings! I've been fond of Chicago and Detroit style thick crust pizza for decades, so we settled on a four slice pan pizza, which turned out to be amazingly thick and soft crusted, beyond any place else in this area's concept of Detroit style! With "one" topping (spicy pepperoni) the price was $12.49 - that included a lot of large leaves during cooking - but then we started throwing extras at it - mushrooms, extra sauce, extra oregano, and black olives - without them increasing the price! Note well: with extra sauce, this pizza (which was ready in jig time, and the super knowledgeable pizza making lady who built it in front of us at the counter was friendly and very receptive to our requests) was very juicy though I didn't need to make myself a bib to protect my shirt - just a couple of their napkins to clean my beard! A few bites in my daughter stated this was the best pizza she'd ever had, and I agreed! ONE of my two super thick slices was plenty for me, so we boxed the other one up and dragged it back to my place. DO NOT attempt to pick one of these up by the paper it's served on top of - too heavy! Nuked a day later, that slice was just great! Atmosphere? Not remotely fancy inside - but WHO CARES given the wonderful meal? The tables require careful navigation if you need to wend your way past other patrons, which is the only reason I only rated them 4 on atmosphere! All things considered, given the short distance from my home, the impressive pizza and the handiness to various sorts of shopping and other cuisines, hunger will automatically take us to Picraft during family visits! Neither one of us is easily impressed - great job, Picraft!“
