“We just moved to Poughquag from Westchester County. My Mom got me a Strawberry Shortcake by mistake instead of my favorite Chocolate Mousse cake. But, the Strawberry Shortcake was excellent!! It was fresh, moist and delicious. We also bought sourdough bread which was divine. As well as fresh dog treats that my dogs gobbled up. We highly recommend Katie Rose Bakery. They also actually know how to slice Proscuiitto. All who live up here know that is a rarity. Their catering is amazing. Above all else nicest folks in the world. “What a lovely lunch we had here yesterday. We just happened to be in the area and happened upon this place. There was a warm welcome immediately at the front door by a man who turned out to be the owner. From there on, the lunch was perfect in every way. Delicious, fresh, good portions. Added grilled chicken to my salad and it came on the side nicely sliced to add in. Grilled chicken should not be complicated but a lot of places are serving weird rubbery chicken, or overcooking it. This was perfection. It's just a chicken breast but I promise you it was not your average chicken. I live an hour away and I swear anytime I am remotely in that direction, I am going back!
