The first course was a set of three little dishes and the rest was a sort of "choose your own adventure" type of thing. The service is always excellent, and the lovely added touches like an added desert or glass of wine for a special occation are really appreciated. The food is inventive and delicious - last night we split the tuna tartare and the pork belly, and both were perfect. Big plus for Billy at the bar - friendly, knows a lot about New York, knows a lot about the menu! My boyfriend and I shared: Appetizers: -Seared scallops: I know right, scallops. Generic usually? But these were in an amazing sauce which was devoured with our side of bread. -Octopus carpaccio: Perfect amount of freshness to balance the rich scallops. “i ordered their prosciutto and burrata (which comes with imported burrata and 24 Month prosciutto di parma), tonnarelli cacio e pepe (pasta with pecorino and black pepper), and infernetto pinsa (roman style pizza with tomato, mozzarella, spicy soppressata, and pecorino). all in all, every dish was made with fine ingredients and was cooked well. the burrata was very creamy and delicious, i would recommend it if you’re a fan of burrata cheese. the pizza had a good coal fire taste to it and came out hot and flavorful (the spicy soppressata was tasty, but i would like to try some of their other flavors eventually). the cacio e pepe was tasty and had a strong pecorino flavor (creamy, rich, slight cheesy musk to it). the pasta had good texture and mouthfeel (firm al dente noodles). all in all a decent spot for italian!“

We never felt rushed or bothered and the food came out in exactly the right amount of time. My only wish was for the live music to be postponed later as it was a bit loud for us. Tali, the company's event coordinator, is the sweetest, most hard-working, and detail-oriented, especially when it comes to your event. She even went above and beyond to surprise me with a GOT themed menu by naming my cocktails after details of life. For example, she named the spicy margarita after my dog, "Kevyn the Kingslayer." COME ON! How amazing is that?!Speaking of cocktails... the incredible bartender, Olivia, bartended Red Witch magic with the amazing cocktails she made for everyone. She even dressed along with the theme, with her sword, serving vibes that was giving Night's Watch combined with Red Keep of the Bar. Everyone kept raving about every cocktail she made with style and care.When it comes to the food, The Bonnie always delivers, so of course my hopes were high for Charlie's. AND MY HOPES WERE MET! The ham and cheese toastie platter was delicious. The franks in a blanket were some of the best I've ever had. The beef sliders were a HUGE hit. Helps with any indécision.I ordered the Gin lizzy which came out pretty strong. Like a sweet Manhattan. Something with the mix of ingredients the vanilla & almond syrup, passionfruit, lemon & bitters gave it an aftertaste that I can't quite pinpoint.However, I did enjoy my husband's drink the Watermelon Drugstore made with Ojo de tigre mezcal, watermelon, honey ginger syrup and lemon. People will be turned away if they're at capacity, especially if a big reservation is booked. It doesn't matter if your friends are inside- they have to follow code.The vibe is REALLY fun- it feels like a swanky house party with awesome music and drinks.
