Totally bad experience. My first experience.I order many food.but fortunately this food test is so bad.i order almost $100. But it’s totally west.test quality is very bad even please anyone don’t order chiken wings and thai sup and fried rice. After finishing food my sister vomiting. ❌
Worst experience I had today @ the Jackson height location!!
The service was awful. They never check back how the food is. I ordered Thai soup, I got hot and sour plain soup! The lollipop is dry and cold.
The cashier was so rude! Oh, I missed my old Sagar where was everything fun and tasty!
PS: no napkins were served nor the utensils.
Very disappointing test of desi Chinese food in Virginia. Food was not hot enough, everything felt like 25-30 seconds worm up from the microwave. Chicken and Shrimp was very undercooked and horrible smell. My wife and I got sick when we came home.
It was a pure waste of money.

Sagar Chinese is a popular restaurant known for its diverse menu, which includes a variety of vegetarian options appealing to the local Indian subcontinent community. The restaurant's food is generally well-received, with the Manchurian chicken and fried rice being standout dishes. However, some customers have found the Chicken Lollipops to be consistently disappointing, with recent reviews mentioning that the lollipop chicken looked old and appeared to have been fried multiple times. Some also noted that the fried rice lacked flavor and the chow mein was just okay.
While the staff is accommodating of dietary restrictions and the waiters are hardworking, there have been reports of poor customer service, with servers not offering water or drinks until prompted. Additionally, the quality of food has been called into question, as some customers found the mango chicken not fresh with a weird taste. Although prices have increased in recent years, making dining in more expensive, the restaurant's interior remains well-decorated and clean, creating a cozy atmosphere. Parking can be a challenge due to the busy location in Jackson Heights, with some stating that finding free parking is very difficult. Despite these issues, Sagar Chinese continues to be a popular choice for those seeking a Chinese dining experience.
