Pizza is pretty good! Happened to come across this spot cause I was by the hair salon getting hair done and needed some food for my kid. They are welcoming and friendly. Not bad pizza at all. Worth the calories.
Now let's be straight, this ain't your #1 slice and it's definitely not the cheapest either. If you watch that boy Portnoy as a hobby, don't come here with expectations. But if you want the kind of pizza you expect NYC to offer, they'll give it you faster and more ready than Chicago can. Owner working the front is chill and the guys at the back work fast, when I walked in they had my pizza out and taped up in a box in 90 seconds. Loved it! I ordered two slices: one grandma and one pepperoni. The portion sizes are very generous. You can never go wrong with classic pepperoni, but the grandma slice is the perfect option for anyone looking to try something different. The sauce on the top was my favorite and had a nice touch of garlic.
