“This was a dope spot in the Bronx. Went here for brunch with my family. Spanish vibe music nice. Food was great! I love me a great skirt steak with chimichurri and this was a good one. It could have been lil more on the well side but other than that no issues! Them potatoes was mad good and the eggs was light and buttery!!!! YummmThe waiter was kind and attentive. Not a long wait. The lady at the front was extremely accommodating. She wasted to get us a table for us and our two year old but the one they did have available was perfectly fine and good for us. I appreciated that she considered my child when seating us.“

“‘The Freakin Rican’ rocks! I got a Pernil Sandwich with fries and a Guanabana drink. I loved how warm the food was and how natural the drink was. The Spanish music was amazing. The atmosphere was amazing. I even loved the aesthetic of the restaurant! Definitely planning to comeback??!“

“$25.00 for a plate of pernil, octopus, arroz con gandules, ample portion and well worth it. The guy has magical cooking skills. Lechon is falling off the bone, everyhing is delicious, tasty. It's in the Bronx, well worth the trip. He is leaving for Aguadilla, Puerto Rico soon to open a Lechonera there. What a loss. The guy is so charming, really nice man. Food is just amazing.“

“This was recommended to me so we went to try. I bought Solomon's one of everything. To share with the family. They were all great. The guava & cheese, chicken, pernil,pastelon,pizza, and apple pie were our favorites. The person at the register was very nice.“

“I visited this place for the first time in search of pastels. And they do have them to buy ,I was very happy because what is Christmas with out pastels in a rician house. “This place is a gem . If your looking for authentic Spanish food, then you must come here. 915 St. John's Avenue in the outskirts of the South Bronx. Alcapurrias and pastelitos that will have your mouth watering and wanting more. Definitely feels like a real Latino experience. “Food was absolutely amazing. One of the best yellow rice’s I’ve ever had. The steak was cooked perfectly. I couldn’t believe how much food was given . I wasn’t expecting such a large portion but it did not disappoint. I love the fact they had a live DJ during the week and they played a nice variety of music. Excited to come back on a Sunday and try their brunch! The host/server was a younger Hispanic male, super nice and attentive. (Sorry I didn’t get his name) bar staff was friendly greeted us and said thank you as we left. Bathrooms were clean as well“

“Their Super Bowl will be amazing because they have a lot of screens. I always recommend their roast chicken with any choice of side. Their Margarita with Flavor is AMAZING, all that food and drink for ONLY $11. You can't beat a great atmosphere. .“
