The new one place is trash. They make their own prices for fish. Ordered 15 pieces for 30 dollars was told another price until it was rung up. Also the one on Farmers food taste much better and u pay less. Starting to not like supporting us we make sure we charge a arm and leg to our own ppl smh

Best fried shrimp!!! I have been buying shrimp and grits from them for about 20 years from both locations. I go mostly on Sunday mornings, and I call my order in, and it's usually ready when I get there. Whoever is there is pretty friendly. I recently tried their dinner sides, and I enjoyed the collard greens, candied yams and Mac and cheese.
Meatloaf looked dry and old Fish salty Shrimp decent kinda salty How is food on the warmer but not hot to taste Candy yams a little to sweet but nice and hot Mac n cheese was fresh but clumpy and cold Cabbage was peppery Collard greens gotta kick they were decent BBQ Chicken was sweet and decent The plantains were good but you can't really mess that up lol The lady serving is a sweet island lady very friendly This new place on Linden is clean They don't take cash that's a minus but the food was decent I would go back and support this black business

It's a neighborhood known staple for fish and grits. Their shrimp is really delicious. They have 2 spots. Th one I like most is off of Farmers Blvd. Service is ok. It's a takeout place so don't expect to sit. I recommend calling ahead if you don't want to wait.

8:50pm closed. Drove quite a bit for this and they closed the food as soon as we walked in. Thought they closed at 9:30pm :( we also came in 10 min before for the menu and they couldn’t even mention they were about to close things down.
