“We have lunch a few times per month and the help yourself salad bar is a very varied , interesting choice of items when chosen carefully can be very reasonable . Being by the pound , your lunch can vary greatly in price but nowhere else can you get this type of variety . If you are looking at serious seafood or butcher items , bring a suitcase full of money or a lot of plastic .“

“Had lunch here with my mother and aunt on a Thursday afternoon. I did not expect to have probably the best Octopus dish I've ever had. Really spectacular. Perfectly balanced flavor and texture, and the cook on the Octopus itself was spot on. I would return just based on that alone. We had French onion soup which was very solid. Excellent fried chicken thigh sandwich. Good chicken quesadilla, and a really good short rib bolognese. Didn't love the pasta choice with that which was cavatelli. My personal opinion/preference would be a pappardelle or tagliatelle to make the short rib more of the star. The cavatelli was a little too dense and fought against the short rib. I've been coming to this place for several years now, and it's nice to have had one of the better meals I've had there this far into their run. Kudos to the kitchen and the front of the house.“

“I took my wife there for our anniversary and it was great. We wanted someplace different and charming. They greeted us by name and wished us a happy anniversary. When the waitress came to the table she brought us two small glasses of champagne and again wished us well. The food was excellent and the waitress was the best. We totally recomend the place.“

“Ordered takeout for a Thursday night dinner for my family and everyone was very happy. I had the steak dinner which was phenomenal. I also took a small taste of the cod and salmon. FRESH and DELISH. All of it. Meatballs, sausage, broccoli, white clam pasta- all were top grade delicious. Chef Joe was at the bar when I came to pick up the food. I could tell he really cares about his food quality/restaurant. Amazing what you can do with food. Fantastic food and experience. I'm a fan.“

“Birthday Celebration for an out of town cousin. We arrived and were immediately taken to our table. Reservations were made for 5 and we were actually 6. No problem the extra placesetting was completed quickly. Menu and Lunch Specials were provided and choices on the Lunch Specials made ordering easy for half of our party. Food was brought out without rushing and served hot. Everything we ordered was delicious. ( Pot Roast, Veal Parmesian, Bacon Burger, and Alfredo Pasta). A cake was provided by us and served with the appropriate celebration. Everything was perfect our guest of honor was pleased. Thank you Jonathan's“

“Food and service was exceptionally good as always. I had requested a table in a particular section of the restaurant and they were able to accommodate. The waitress was very attentive and pleasant, as were the rest of the staff, altogether making it an overall successful experience“

“My best friend lives in Queens so she and I come to the Onion Tree every other Friday night. I wish this place was closer to me. I live in Yonkers. The food is superb, seasoned extraordinarily. The chicken is fresh, soft and cut into small bites. I always order chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, or chicken tikka pizza. I have never had food that I enjoyed this much and I have tried all foods all over the world. I never get tired of this place. And the food is served quickly and piping hot. They’re opening a second place in Manhattan. We’re getting closer to Yonkers!! The drinks are awesome too. Barbra and Louis work behind the bar. They’re friendly and great bartenders.“

“Awesome place! After reading reviews on here decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did really great food! We ordered the chicken wings crispy but had a batter on it I'm usually a no batter just naked wings so I wasn't a fan but it tasted okay. Bolognese gnocchi homemade really a great fresh dish. My favorite had to be their steaks sandwich. Steak cooked seasoned perfectly the bread really made it taste perfect soft and crispy. I look forward to going back and trying other foods. Staff was really great too another plus!“

“Cafe Testarossa is always great! Sat at the bar for a drink before dinner; friendly service and good drinks. We sat down for dinner, and our waiter Giuseppe could not have been more attentive and friendly. The food was very good as well as the service.“

“Small Batch is one of the best restaurants I have been to in New York. The food is beyond delicious and the service was great. I've been there for lunch when it wasn't as busy and the music was a bit too loud. I've been there for dinner and the noise of people talking was so loud that we could barely hear the music, but still worth. A bit pricey but that's fine by me since the food is amazing.“

“Wow! This restaurant/lounge is exactly what Oyster Bay needed. They have an incredible selection of wines, an interesting cocktail menu, and the food is delicious. I came in on a rainy Saturday night and enjoyed the cozy, welcoming vibe. The only thing I will say is that the seating is a bit tough. The couches are low, the high top tables aren't inviting, and there is no foot rail if you sit at the bar. While this is not a deal breaker for me, it might be for some so it is worth the mention.“

“Torrential rain forecasted for my birthday celebration at Coach Meeting House. I had reserved an igloo. I called Russ who assured me we would still enjoy our experience. Nice igloo with heated 3-person couch, 2 Adirondack chairs, 3 wooden chairs, coffee table, fireplace/heater, and tv. Ordered food using a QR code and was brought out to the igloo by servers. 2 hour limit. Ordered sodas round of apps, and main entrees. We had a relaxing time in the igloo. “The aroma of beef and bacon was so amazing walking down Main street, we had to pop in for a quick bite while running some errands. So glad we did. The staff was helpful and attentive. The cocktail menu was clever as well as festive. The menu has all the right snacks and hand helds for one or a group. The events board has something posted for every day of the week. We had the Drunk Chicken Sammy with sweet potato tots and the We're Jammin Burger with battered fries. The vodka sauce with burrata elevated the chicken to the next level. Fig jam and candied bacon on the burger was on point. I will definitely partake in snacks the next time we are there for HH.“

“Went to Park Place yesterday for an early dinner. Wanted to make sure that we were able to indulge in the Mexican fare before the Specials changed for the week. We shared the filet mignon quesadilla. The filet melted in our mouths! It was stuffed with all the right ingredients and was accompanied by sour cream and delicious guacamole. For my main entree, I had the blackened Mahi Mahi tacos. 3 large tacos filled with deliciously seasoned Mahi Mahi, mango salsa, etc. Accompanied by Mexican corn. Everything had just the right heat and was so good. Would definitely get these items again. My husband had the Steak Frites and, as usual, it was cooked perfectly and delicious. You can't go wrong at Park Place no matter what you order!“

“Always spot on. I ordered the Cuban Pork Naan since it's one of my favorites! Others at our table ordered from the specials. The pork chop, the steak and the halibut and everyone said it was amazing. Appetizers we ordered were also so yummy. the pierogi and the king pao combo. The only disappointment was there were only 3 shrimp and loaded with chicken. Delicious but would have preferred at least 2 more pieces of shrimp.“

“Delicious food that is very well prepared and seasoned, drinks are incredible whether you want non-alcoholic, alcoholic, or an iced matcha horchata (made with oat milk and fabulous)! “The shed has great ambiance, great food and service. They also have great gluten free options. My wife particularly enjoys their Cobb salad. However, one unfortunate event happened today. Today we ordered to go from the shed and really enjoyed the food as well, but the burger boxes were mislabeled and I accidentally ate a bite of the non-gluten free burger my friend ordered. I have celiac and unfortunately I quickly started bloating. This was despite emphasizing at the time of ordering that I have this sensitivity to gluten. We did inform the store and the manager Barbara was very apologetic and kindly offered to removed the burger off the bill as well as to remake the burger and even offered a gift card to be picked up next visit. It was an unfortunate mistake and we would still eat there again, but let the store know more so it doesn't happen again for us or others. Definitely still highly recommend the restaurant!“

“A fun place for lunch and dinner. I was a bit hesitant bring my son who is 3yo, because you just never know if he's having a good day or bad day. But I decided to take the risk and bring him on a mini date because there's only so many visits this mommy can take to Chik-fil-A and it turned out great. He was on his good behavior and tried the mushroom risotto, which I told him was cheesy rice with my short rib and he has a cheese burger and fries. They did forget to put cheese on his burger which he was quick to point out but that was a quick fix, the staff was quick to melt a slice of cheese on his burger and brought it back out quick. My only semi-compliant was a side was small sweet potato smash was $12 which was the same cost of his burger and fries. Otherwise, everything was great, staff was attentive and we had a fun time. “This place has a great vibe as well as a great selection of food hot and cold. I went for a beef empanada and a turkey pepper jack cheese and honey mustard sandwich. The empanada was very flavorful and doesn’t need sauce. The sandwich had a great balance the bread was soft and the meat was savory the cheese was a perfect balance and the honey mustard is one of the best I have had in a long time.I highly recommend this spot.“

Big Rangers bar and from the decor it also looks like a big Raiders bar as well...closing time says 11pm but that's not true, it's based on volume of people in the bar. “Raxx Pool Hall in West Hempstead, NY was so much fun and exactly what I needed on a Friday night!The staff was super friendly and the DJ was dope. The music created a whole vibe for the whole night. I really didn't expect for their food to be so good being that its a pool hall. The wings were good but the onion rings were the best onion rings I've had anywhere.I'm definitely going back to play pool because I had a good time but trust me you want to try their wings and onion rings! They have a lot of drink selections as well so just check the place out!“

“So we went into corner Galley at 815 (close at 9 on Sundays) but they were done seating so we went to runyons... We decided if Matty was behind the bar we'd sit with him but it wasn't so we sat at a table with Sabie. Service and food were wonderful, we both did the pasta night. Wife had the carbonara and I had the eggplant. We also got an order of calamari, which was awesome but waaaayyyy to much food for just the 2 of us. Food was great, service was great, place was vibing with the Nfc championship game on and people in the bar having fun. Great overall experience.“
