“What a wonderful dinner we had. My friend was here from Pennsylvania and knowing his choices of Italian is extremely limited I said do you want to try a place? Of course he said yes! We had a wonderful time and dinner from the zucchini flowers and octopus to the veal and pork chop specials it was just fantastic. I only wish that Peter was there to thank in person for maintaining such a wonderful place.“

“The food was incredible, amazing point is that the owner recognized me and was excited to see me. However when I asked the server what mocktails they had he said they could do orange juice and cranberry juice. Which is insulting, might as well give it to me in a kids cup. I was there not three weeks prior and the server went to the bar to get a list of mocktails I could have and went above and beyond so I could have something other then juice or water and make me feel apart of the table. It's also very embarrassing when I get told I can have a juice, when the server looked and sounded irritated that I wasn't ordering a wine or cocktail. “There's a space in the back. One of the workers came back there and turned on the AC for us asap. Me and my friends all ate a different slice, and I got to taste most of them. “Just left a crazy Thursday night at IL Forno. What a fun and enjoyable evening we had. We walked in with no reservations and the manager snuck us right in and we even got to the listen to an amazing singer. We have been here a few times, this was by far the most fun we had. Everyone was laughing. The staff which seems to be plenty was having a good time. The manager and Owners kept walking around and making sure all was good and everyone was happy. “Last week, my wife and I had the pleasure of dining at Il Villagio. The restaurant was highly recomended to us by my wife's coworker. We were greeted warmly and sat promptly. We had a 6:30 reservation. The service from start to finish was warm, friendly and professional. We started with a crisp tender fried calamari and the roasted beet salad. So many times calamari is a hit or miss. This was an excellent version. The beet salad was tender, earthy and sweet. The crunchy pistacios and orange vinaigrette were a nice touch. My wife ordered Chicken Millanese and I ordered Gnocchi Bolognese. Both were excellent. The chicken was crisp and tender. The arrugula was peppery with a drizzle of lemon and virgin olive oil. Great balance. The Gnocchi was a great choice as there was a chill in the air. My definition of comfort food. Recently I have notice some resturants are going with a cheaper grated cheese, not Il Villagio. The Peccorino was perfectly salty and sharp. During our meal several people came over to check on us including the owner. I told he should be very proud of his staff. This restaurant is doing a great job. The provide quality service, excellent food and a warm friendly staff. It was a 25-30 drive for us. A drive I will be doing again real soon. Thank you to all“

“We had our daughter’s confirmation at Lucia’s at the end of April. I was very pleased with the attentiveness as we planned the party and decided on final touches. During the party the food and service were above par. The staff was friendly and attentive and the food was delicious! I highly recommend celebrating your next event at Lucia’s.“

Zuppa de Pesce was so delicious, chicken francese so good and the chicken practically melted in my mouth. Everything overall was cooked to perfection. “Love Maria's Pizza when we moved up here to Yorktown a few years ago Maria was the first pizza shop we ordered from and they never disappoint. The service and delivery is great and everybody's always very nice when they answer and take our orders. Definitely recommend Maria's pizza and we're definitely going to try there. The drunken chicken is my favorite chicken Parm pizzas excellent. Tried the new cannoli chips and dip loved we're gonna soon try Maria's famous 3 foot pizza cause we'll be having a gathering so we're gonna try that when ordering it arrives early and hot so if you're in the Yorktown area, try Maria's Pizza. You won't regret it.“

“A cozy Italian-American in Mahopac on Route 6, that is worth a trip from anywhere! The review, may sound like hyperbole, but it's not! A friend mentioned it had good food, great prices, and table service and he was going down there, so we all stopped in for lunch. Great decision. The prices are very reasonable! One of the best Italian-American restaurant/pizzerias I've found in years; and I've eaten more than my share of pizza in many countries. Only top quality ingredients are used! We each ordered a different 12" pizza, one for each of us. In hindsight, we could've ordered one pizza that the three of could have shared and would we have been satiated! My significant other ordered a prosciutto and arugula pizza. She had one at Cancino's in Mexico City November 2019 and LOVED it. We've never seen it on another menu here. So, when she saw it on their menu, she ordered it right away! It was perfect! There was about 4 ounces of arugula and the $20 something a pound prosciutto on it. See the photo. No crispy cremated prosciutto chips nor wilted arugula arrived to the table. My friend had the red meat pizza. It looks like about a pound of sausage meat and a whole pepperoni was sliced and put on his pizza. He kept picking pepperoni off his pizza and putting it on ours. What we had looked like a normal pepperoni pizza; there was that much on his! There was a small group who ordered pasta dishes. They looked great also. Yelpers get a 10% discount.“

Norca makes you feel like you don't want to leave, she is very welcoming and warm. I like to visit this restaurant when Norca is working. “I mainly go here for dinner. The food is delicious. Cannot go wrong the any of the veal options. Pork chops are good as well. The service is excellent. It was really busy and they didn't miss anything. The drinks were awesome. They have a huge list of martinis. Definitely recommend.“

“After eating here a few times for dinner and or lunch we decided it was a great place to do our office holiday party. I had noticed they have a private room with large glass doors and inquired about booking it. They got back to me really quick with a better deal than anything else local we could find, meal options, etc. But honestly we would have paid more. They printed us out menus for our event. They lined up two tables for dining and have the extra tables for a white elephant gift exchange. We chose to have appetizers served family style (nanas bread with cheese sauce and marinara, crispy meatballs ( these were so good!) tomato and mozz salad and calamari) there were a few plates of each dish placed and timed so we weren’t overwhelmed . Then we had four options- chicken piccata, halibut, pasta ragu and a vegetarian option. After this came out we did our gift swap and then had coffee accompanied by tiramisu and a lemon crostata dessert. This didn’t feel like a under thought buffet style party. It came out in courses- we had plenty of time to enjoy each other outside of our office. We didn’t feel rushed. The wait staff was so on top of everything. No one had to ask for refills etc. Multiple managers came in to check on us periodically ( and the owners brother) and they packed up whatever we didn’t eat. We actually took all the desserts back to the office. All in all I would 10000 percent suggest this for anyone looking for a party location. While we enjoyed it for a large office plus spouses Christmas party, it was spacious enough that I could see rehearsal dinners, retirement parties graduations etc. Everyone left happy! We’ll be booking it again in the future.“

“Let me start off by saying..There isn't many better options to have Italian food in NY and that includes NYC..The service, the food & the atmosphere is impeccable. The chicken scarpariello is the best i have ever had. The chicken is always cooked to perfection, sliced thin potatoes, fresh sausage, mushroom & onion along with a rich sauce that is out of this WORLD. I also get a side of pasta with garlic and oil as well. Their grandma slice is GREAT. the sauce, the crust and the cheese are all cooked flawlessly. Angelo the owner is such a welcoming and pleasant guy. Our server Wilda was amazing and attentive. I can't wait to go back!“

“Food was good. Service was quick the location is nice but it's a little small. I only had typical El Salvadorian pupusas. They were very good. I would go back for those again but seems like a lot of people came for the soups. Which I didn't try. It gets busy but mostly take out. I would order the Spanish food since everyone there is Spanish. I don't think the Italian side of the kitchen will be as good as the el Salvadorian one since there is not Italians cooking it.“

“I have been going to Fortina since they first opened in 2013. Fortina and Decicco's, both located in Armonk Square, were a shot in the arm to downtown Armonk at the time and they both have become institutions in town. Fortina strikes a perfect balance of modern takes on italian food while offering an authentic experience with excellent homemade pastas, wood-fired pizzas, and other "wood-fired" offerings coming out of their ovens. Their menu has few blind spots as everything I have had has always been delicious. I always look forward to new seasonal additions and tweaks over the years. On our most recent trip, we tried their wood-fired wings for the first time. They came out piping hot and juicy. The calabrian chili and maple sauce was delicious paired with the green goddess dressing. For an entree, I had the gnocchi (which I had previously via takeout, and I knew I had to try fresh in the restaurant next time I went). The pan seared gnocchi has a thick, almost creamy pistachio pesto drizzled with brown butter and cheese - it was fantastic. Inside Fortina has a great vibe with a rustic but modern feel of the wood covered walls adorned with eccentric art including a portrait of Bill Murray from the life aquatic which has been there since opening. Service is friendly and relaxed. Fortina is always a great choice for some of the best pizza and pasta in the County as well as an excellent weekend brunch.“
