“What an amazing place. We came without a reservation at the suggestion of our innkeeper and had the most delicious meal. The staff was accommodating ( did I mention it was Hudson Valley restaurant week?) and warm. The appetizers, crispy brussel sprouts and mushroom crostini, were meals unto themselves. The pork chop was tender and flavorful with a jammy apricot covering. the pike was flaky and beautifully paired with crab salad and pickled mussels. And the dessert! “Fell in love with this place when we accidentally stumbled across it 3 yrs ago on an anniversary weekend getaway. Been craving it and surprised my husband this year and came back up. “This place is amazing. We went for breakfast. The place is decorated so tastefully some well thought out details. The feel of my coffee mug, might seem trivial but it was nice pottery. Not the average mass produced diner plates. The food was well seasoned and very reasonably priced. The Staff was so attentive. We will definitely go back again!“

It is the best Mexican food in the area, by far, and is always worth the trip.Their tortilla chips are so delicious that we get a double (or triple!) order to snack on the following day. Some of our favorites are the QuesoBurros and the Mulas De Col Rizada. The steak tacos are very good. There are dairy and gluten-free options, which we appreciate. We were missing our favorite taqueria in East Palo Alto, CA but Upstate Taco is every bit as good. My boyfriend, an extremely picky eater, had the baked clams and NY strip steak and loved both!
