“We went after church on Easter Sunday, and they accommodated our change from 5 top to 6 top (not usually hard I know, but Easter). Service was attentive, especially with Rose popping over to get our drinks and menus, while our server was busy (again, just after church). Casey (server) was amazing. Beyond welcoming, beyond accommodating, and felt almost like a friend. There was special needs person in our party, and Casey made them feel included. We will be back.Parking: Busy on a Sunday after church usually. But free lot surrounding the building like a classic diner“
“This place used to be stellar. It's declined in the years since it changed from Circle to Dinertime. We stopped going but recently went back to give it another try. Still mediocre and overpriced at best. The quality of the ingredients and preparation is still sub par.Not bad. Certainly edible. Just not the better quality and good value it used to be.“
“I recently brought my husband there for his 60 th birthday breakfast! Friendly ,fast and courteous service. The food was DELICIOUS and plenty. I brought half of mine home for the next morning ! The diner is spotless and the staff was very friendly. Our waitress went out of her way to make my husband's birthday start off with a laugh and smile!“
“I'm a fan of, and regularly attend, Naughter's Midnight Breakfast. Whether you are trying to wind down for the day with a cup of coffee and a conversation , want to get a nostalgia hit while searching the impressive collection of cassettes for your favorite artist, or you're an unawakened, "Foodie," there for the daily specials that are [always] worth foregoing your, "Usual;" you'll quickly learn to adopt Naughter's as your last stop in Troy. I traveled around the world with the military, learned to cook like a Southern Italian during Christmases with my family in Foggia, experienced the tremendous variety of cuisines in Asia, but had to travel to a hidden diner in Troy NY to be introduced to my new favorite soup, Vichyssoise.“
“Craving excellent breakfast food? Look no further cause this diner is amazing. The parking is very easy due to having a parking lot. This diner is very popular so the parking lot may get full fast. The diner has a warm atmosphere and the staff are very friendly. I ordered the Skyline Special which consists of over easy eggs, sausage, and breakfast potatoes. I definitely have to eat it with Tabasco hot sauce. The white bread comes with a lot of butter which makes the toast super tasty. This special also comes with a small orange juice or coffee which is nice. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to eat breakfast food around the Albany Area.“
“I don't know where to start. I've only had breakfast items there and the food is absolutely amazing! I force myself to never get the same thing twice and everything I've ever had from there has been superb! Anyone want to go tomorrow?“
“We love this place. It needs a face-lift, but the staff is great, the food is cheap and really good. The fried mushroom appetizer is delicious. I could eat a bucket. The veggie omelet, pancakes are great. The pastrami Reubens are amazing. The breakfasts are good, sandwiches, fried fish, scallops and their famous baked beans are fantastic. The fries are even better than average. Their potato salad is really good, too. The coffee is good too. It's a great place where a family can eat real food without spending a fortune. 2 adults and 2 kids for under $50 for dinner are unheard of these days.“
“My Dad and recently enjoyed lunch between appointments at the VA Hospital. Parking is available on site, however it's not plentiful. The menu is extensive - typical diner fare and also a separate "Latin food" menu (pretty sure that was what was written in the cover) with a nice selection of both typical items (eg, tacos) and ones that are more unusual for our area. I chose the birria tacos - amazing. I'm still thinking about them three weeks later. Full of meat, not overly greasy or cheesy, just the right combination. The birria marinade was so delicious I drank it all. My Dad, not known for a big appetite, got the French dip with fries. He surprisingly ate every bite. The waitress thought he said French onion soup and brought that first instead, but the order was quickly corrected. The soup looked delicious. The noise level was just right, which was important with a hearing impaired person. Pictures in the wall are fun to look at and see how much Albany has changed, and how much is the same. I'll be back again soon!“
“Local diner. Kinda like cheers, everyone knows everyone, all sit at the bar, so when you walk in; they know you are new, but are friendly and nice. You may have to wait a bit for your order, sometimes the owner works alone, but the food is good.“
“We were hesitant when I saw the building from outside, but we immediately changed our mind as soon as I walked in the door. Super cute decoration and nice little place. We had hot turkey sandwich and #2 big breakfast. We loved every single thing that we ordered! The service was nice and attentive. Thank you!“
“So glad I made the stop in here!! The Chai latte was made from Steeped Chai tea bags vs and the pre-mix which has a lot of sugar and the breakfast crepe was so delicious and big portion, really fresh ingredients. Don’t pass by here without stopping in. Thank you Olivia!!“
“Went for breakfast on a very busy Sunday morning. Electricity was out due to ice and snow, so assuming that locals were there because our hotel just up yhe road was out.Food was acceptable. Cooked as ordered. Service was ok. They were filled and people waiting.Wait time was ok as I said they were very busy.Felt good value for price. Will stop again when in area.“
