My husband picked up a cake for our daughter’s bday & the handwriting was terrible!!!!!! They argued with me & refused to redo or give a refund.

This place closed like an hour early, multiple times. Frustrating

New Owners: Horrible customer service, bad shakes-they didn’t know how to make them, tasted cheap, terrible caramel, they don’t know how to make thick shakes, did not say hi or anything to us for that matter. Tried going the other night but they closed over an hour before the time it says online. VERY EXPENSIVE!!!

Super poor experience here. Very melted ice cream and there was a complete chunk missing out of my cone which is poor customer service. Girl behind the counter wasn't the nicest either

I just came back from carvel. I ordered a medium shake, small cone and a medium carvalanche. The bill was $19+ . The medium carvalanche was terrible. They did not fill it up at all. When I said something about it I was told that is how it is. I do not mind spending money but this was a total RIP off. Carvel is going down hill. I will not be returning.

So after going to this carvel for over 20 years, I will never patron here again. It's literally walking distance from my house and after today, I'd rather go out of my way. I walk in and I see a red head girl with a nasty look, like I'm bothering her for walking in. She comes to me and says in a very ugh you're bothering me way, "what can I get you". As sweet as pie I asked for rainbow sprinkles layered with vanilla ice cream. I'm the type to kill em with kindness. Dead a** she says "no! I can't do that". I'm like "what", she said again "we can't do that". I laughed and said "wait, you won't make my ice cream the way I want?" Listen I can understand if there are issues and ways certain businesses do things, but this was ridiculous. She said cause they can't determine the amount of $ to charge me by doing it that way. So I said charge me for two toppings. She literally wouldn't do it. I asked for the manager, who I've known for almost 20 years. She refused until my 3rd ask. They talk in the back, and he comes out and says very nicely, The owners don't want us doing this anymore, only the toppings on top and bottom. I said "well she never said that" she outright said "no" haha it's like comical to me. If she would have approached it the way he did, I may have reacted a bit different. What is seriously the big deal, I wouldn't mind paying for two toppings, even three, if that was the case and I would get it how I wanted it. I managed a carvel many years ago and we would do whatever the customer asked, within reason, to make them happy and have what they want. We had lines and lines of people wrapped around the store from all over the island because of how we treated our customers. Don't owners know this? Why is it so hard to get a decent person to help you now a day. I'm a paying customer and you're literally telling me no I can't get something that is so easy to charge me for lol. Anyway this place will go down and go down fast because of a stupid rule and for their nastiness. Have fun losing $$$ and your business. Maybe people will one day learn these businesses are going down because of the way customers are treated. Thank you for reading my rant.

Came here on a Saturday night, December 3,2022. Ice cream’s good. Customer service.. can do better. Drop the attitude. The young lady with red hair had her hands on her waist and her eyes kept on either rolling or wide-open as if somebody’s saying something that’s just beyond her. Her and the dark-haired young lady were eye-communicating and it wasn’t nice. It really made me feel unwelcome as soon as we walked in. As if I was disrupting their lives. Please, fix the attitude. It’s unbecoming.

I'm so sad that I didn't get the name of the man who helped me, but I asked them if they had coconut he said coconut shavings ONLY, no ice cream. HOWEVER, this young man went above and beyond and gave me coconut shavings, vanilla ice cream, coconut shavings, and then the cookie dough pieces I had asked for as well. He even said it himself "sorry I went a little overboard" there's no such thing! He was relatively tall about 5"10 to 6'0 maybe and he had curly hair. He was very nice and had energy, he clearly liked being there and people like that deserve recognition!!! Bravo to this man for making my headache go away with this bad boy! He even put it in a larger cup so that it wouldn't make a mess! A lot of people in the food industry don't care, but he did--does! Give that man a raise!
