“Nice family restaurant. My first visit & taste of S. African french cuisine. Not too many place can offer good food at a reasonable price. This place does. Service was good. I had the Escargot & Tunisian Sausage. Both good. I like french food, but don't have it often since it's very rich. My hubby enjoyed the broiled Lamb chop. We shared the chocolate mousse torte. It was perfect, not too sweet. The flavors of the meal was spot on. Not overly salted, sweetened nor was there msg like most restaurants these days. Overall, I would go back & recommend this little gem. Our friend, long time patrons of La Baracka, had the AYCE lunch, which they enjoyed.”

“I’ve been ordering delivery from Chicken is Back for quite some time, and I can tell you that the fried chicken is actually crispy and juicy.

You must get the white garlic sauce if you’re a garlic lover like me. It’s so creamy and good! The spicy original is also really good if you like a little kick. My only complaint is that they put the sauce in such a tiny container, and it’s definitely not enough…

Although they’re known for their fried chicken, don’t sleep on the grilled chicken. It’s a healthier option, but it’s still incredibly juicy and flavorful. Honestly, it surprised me how good it was! As for the crispy batter fries, they’re OK, but honestly, kind of meh.

I do think it’s a little pricey, but I’d say it’s worth trying. Definitely recommend!”

“This place is the best. I truly love going here. The service and the help of all employees working there is unbelievable. They explain each Tea and foods on the Menu . The fried chicken combos are insane. So delicious!!! Many different seasonings. My favorite is Honey Mustard and Lemon Pepper. This is 5 stars and if I could give more I would. “Simple and no fuse bakery. Everything is super fresh. The service is fast too. So even if you see a line out the door don't be intimidated. If you don't see what you're looking for in the case, just ask because they are constantly baking and steaming for the demand. Sometimes it will take a few, but that just means you'll be lucky and get them extra extra fresh.
It is a small location so I'd personally just take my items to go, since crowds come and go.
Parking is street metered parking. $.25 per 30mins, and you put the tag on the driver's side glass.”

“This place really hits the spot for some comforting, delicious, satisfying noodle and rice dishes. Cold noodles were chewy and perfectly al dente - tempura on top was crispy and delicious on its own. Soondubu is seasoned well and their mild spice was perfect for my sensitive stomach and liked that each soup came with a side of grilled meats. We also had the pork dumplings which complemented well all the different flavors. Service was quick and friendly.”

“Got the combination meal of general tso's, pretty delicious. Not overly breaded and plenty of chicken. Parents had shrimp with garlic and they loved it. Ordered as takeout and took maybe like ten or less minutes.”

“Called the other night to confirm the store hours, and a young gentleman named Joseph promptly answered the phone and gave me the information I was looking for. (The store is open 7am-10pm every day, apart from Christmas and New Year’s Day, when they are open 7am-8pm.)

I came in close to closing, and was greeted by a festive “PB” display! Couldn’t help but take a picture, it really adds to the holiday spirit! The tall, young cashier with the brown hat was efficient and friendly. The store was clean and the products were organized.

I’ll stop by whenever I’m in the area!”

“I am a foodie but my absolute favorite food of all time is Chinese food. I have been eating it the entirety of my 55 years and no place compares with this restaurant!! What an amazing experience, delicious delectable food and warm service. The Dim Sum was out of this world and just an all around great way to experience different foods that you've never tried before. I even loved items that I found i didn't like at all in other restaurants!

The parking lot in the back houses many cars but it's a nightmare to exit.... we had to back out the entire way and it floods if it rains. That's my only advice for this location. Find parking then go immediately to this restaurant for the Chinese food experience of your life. Even on an early Sunday, this place will be packed. And it says something when most of the patrons are also Asian..... they would know more than others the quality and authenticity of their dishes. This place gets a whopping 10 🌟 and above!!!!”
