“Bring back the Papa Smurf and the Caprese, I beg of you!! My fiancé and I are from Queens but are seasonal campers at a close by campground, and we stumbled upon this place one day last summer, and got these sandwiches and loved them so much we came back about 10 more times with friends, for birthdays, for brunch, for whatever, everyone loved it. This year we came in to start the season off right and both of our sandwiches were gone. Very upsetting. The sandwiches we got were fine but no comparison. Being a vegetarian, finding something like the Papa Smurf is rare and I truly loved it. I even told the chef it is the best sandwich I’ve ever had in my entire life and I meant it. Always thanked him for killing it every time we were there. I’ve never done that in a restaurant before. I’m not someone to go up to someone and say things like that but I needed him to know that I felt that I was in the presence of a God lol. Anyways, at least consider it? Like they say, “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”.”
“Love this place! Beer is great, live music, even the crowed is a pleasure, it's dog friendly, all outside. The staff is super nice and helpful. There's a food truck, food is great, it was perfect!”
“Great natural wine and cute vibes. We sat at the bar, which is where you also order, but there is also a side room and patio for nice days. We got a bottle of sparkling brut rose pet nat and it was delicious. Highly recommend coming here.”

“Delicious little spot in town that shouldn’t be missed. About 10 spots to sit but it wasn’t crowded on a February Saturday afternoon. Food tasted fresh and came out quickly, and was very reasonably priced.”
“We stayed in the farmhouse at the Arnold House for a family get away. We enjoyed the tavern and the breakfast buffet. I think that guests should be aware that the bathrooms are unfinished. The toilet paper is one ply because the toilets need to be handled with care. Also there was standing water in the basement and the mousetraps in the house gave an uneasy feeling. It's an old house which could be charming with a few changes.Nearby activities: YesFood & drinks: Yes”

“It's one of the best places I've ever eaten at. The hamburgers are the best I've ever had. The workers are extremely nice (providing you're not annoying). Great workers, food, and overall one of the best places I've been to. (The other people who provided bad reviews are annoying and entitled)”
“People are saying that it's not going to happen, but I don't know what to do with this. Broccoli and cheese on rice is right whenever you need it. Goodbye star girl.”

“Wonderful!!! Lunched with visiting relatives we met at half way at Northern Farmhouse Pasta. Outstanding, everything we had was done perfectly. Baked clams, broccoli rabe, gnocchi even a homemade ramen bowl and dessert too. Their hospitality was excellent, we were able to sit and visit for hours without feeling we needed to move. I highly recommend this restaurant.”

“Great service and even better food. Traditional diner classics with Greek specialties as well. My family of four enjoyed the sandwiches and dinner specials as well. A good sign of quality diner is the way they make a classic cheese burger - and their burgers are perfect. But you need to leave room for their desserts! If not take them to go - you won’t regret it! This has been my go to diner for past three years.”

“A friend of a friend of a friend mentioned the place in passing. When I wanted to go to dinner last night that vague memory rolled to the front of my brain. I am so glad it did. The food was over the top amazing. Everything was made to order. Nothing was reheated in a microwave. The empanadas were to die for. They alone were worth the drive. It is obvious the chef takes great pride in his creations. Our bartender/server was cheerful and attentive without being over bearing. She made perfect, generous cocktails. I have been in the restaurant industry for over 40 years. I can usually find something to nit pick about. Not this place. I can't wait to go back.”

“Wow! What a special place Cabernet Franks is! So homey and cozy. Food is freshly made from scratch - be prepared for that timing - totally worth the wait! We had the Buffalo chicken dip (not pictured but so good!), loaded fries, mozz sticks, the ribs! Omg you have to try. And I had the wild mushroom raviolis (so good!) and we also had fish and chips. I got the cocktail with Mezcal and Hot honey! So good and OMG of the strongest drinks I have ever had. The live music was great as well! Can’t wait to come back!”

“I got in and I was greeted, I responded and asked for a coffee in the same breath. I was offered a free one brewed just for me. It does not happen often these days. The bar has a strong local vibe apparently revolving around hunting. Someday I must come back to have a beer here.”

“My wife and I took a quick ride to Liberty to visit my Dad and do some grocery shopping. When we finished our errands, we were hungry so we looked online to see what was near us and we came across Chick-E-Ribs. The reviews were great so we decided to give them a try. We're so happy we did, because we absolutely LOVED it. We had the Pulled Pork Dinner and the Brisket Dinner along with sides of Mac & Cheese and Cole Slaw. We also got a half rack of ribs which were exquisite. So moist and tender and they literally fell off the bone. In both our dinner dishes, the meat was incredibly tender and juicy and full of flavor. The mac & cheese was creamy and cheesy and equally delicious and the cole slaw... which I myself don't normally eat... was amazing. It was fresh and loaded with flavor. We've had BBQ up and down the east coast and this is truly the best we've ever had. We highly recommend giving this place a try because not only is the food great, the owners are local folks who are friendly and put their heart and soul into making fantastic food.”

“The food here is delicious! Stopped here on way back to NYC from Syracuse. The woman was very kind and offered us the daily special - arroz con pollo (rice w/ chicken) + salad + tostonoes (mashed fried plantains). We ordered 2 specials and 1 hamburger w/ fries. The presentation of food was beautiful and the food was delicious- fresh and flavorful. The tostones had mashed avocados on it. The salad had some lemon squeezed on it. The chicken in the rice was pulled with some veggies. The hamburger was delicious!!! Had minced sautéed onions - overall delicious. 3 meals plus drinks for under $50. Very clean too. I will be coming back on my next trip up. We ate so fast that I missed taking a picture of the food presentation. Don't miss this spot!”

“Really good pizza. Haven't been to every kosher pizza place in the Catskills, but hard to imagine there's anything much better. Even had fresh vegetables in the salad bar. The soft serve ice cream was odd though, the proportions were off and it was too dense.”
“Logan’s is the absolute BEST local spot to stop into if you are visiting the charming town of speculator. The employees are so welcoming. I stopped by expecting nothing more than a simple dinner and what I got was a night that I’ll remember for a lifetime. The camaraderie between locals, tourists, and bartenders alike was unbeatable. I can’t recommend this gem enough — one could say it’s the Adirondacks’ best kept secret!”

“absolutely stunning space with lots of seating inside & outdoors. the beer is really good- I got the lager and it was super light and tasty. The food was also incredible! We got the bavarian pretzel from the bar— it was literally the best pretzel i’ve ever had with this BOMB honey mustard. From the restaurant part of the brewery, we got the bbq pork taco, chicken tenders, and the burger. Everything was stellar and cooked perfectly. The taco needed a little bit of sauce or seasoning, but it was super juicy & a huge portion for one taco.Highly recommend if you want to have a beer & dinner! Also great spot for kids.”
