Today is the Fourth of July- definitely a high traffic day for a beach destination, especially for ice cream and ices since it's so hot. Our server was surprised my husband ordered the banana cream pie shake, telling him that nobody had ever ordered that one before. He liked it just fine. I picked key lime ice. They didn't have it. Ralph's Italian Ices, it's a must when in Long Beach! The list of flavors is so long so making a decision of what to order is an issue, but a good issue. They let you sample the flavors if you need to before making your monumental decision. Some days I was in town, I must confess, I went there in the afternoon and again in the evening.
