Did not use restroom facilities. Did not see Braille menu.”

“What excellent service and an amazing dinner ! The prime rib and steak seleciton was to perfection. Absolutely delicious. We have been to many steak houses, expensive restaurants and this meal outdid them all. We came as a family, at the recommendation of some of the Potsdam hockey team players . “Went on a cute road trip to up-state New York, this venue exemplifies the spirit of hospitality and warmth that I was looking for in this area. As a Texas native, I know good brisket, and the brisket platter here was just as good, if not better, than what I have at home. Such a lovely small-business, with a gleaming atmosphere that is peak Americana.”

“Awesome little hole in the wall place. Limited hours but totally worth it. I would recommend planning to be there right at opening time. They appear to have music and a food truck on site. The food was awesome, and the beer was great! They had a ton of options on tap as well! Which was surprising. Highly recommend for great beer and a good time.”

There was no charge.Parking: Not sure didn't check.Kid-friendliness: Couple of families there with children having a good time. Char and John do a great job. Also have a good menu.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy entrance no one there in a wheelchair. Right at the front door.”

“Staff was very friendly. They were accommodating when learning how to make my favorite Starbucks drink, which staff on shift that day hadn't made before. It turned out great! I try to stop by there as a treat whenever I travel to Potsdam for my physical therapy. I'm always greated with a smile. Definitely a gem I discovered one day.Parking: This is located at a college campus. So depending on the time of day, whether you are a student, etc. could likely factor into finding a place to park. I am disabled and have yet to experience a problem finding a handicap space.Wheelchair accessibility: The doors are able to open automatically.”

“We where driving home from a long Sunday drive out celebrating husband birthday.we just happen upon the place. There's a restaurant attached. We where greeted with very friendly staff. Seated immediately. Not a very fancy place. But the food was wonderful I got the Salmon special. It was delicious. Brought half home. Very relaxing . The waitress came often to check on us. She was so sweet.”

“This has been our local go-to place, for many years and counting.When you think of "Hometown Diner/Cafe" what comes to mind is exactly what it is.It is a small, old diner. We go there for good comfort food. I am an adventurous foodie but when it comes to true and tried, all-time favorites - they do not disappoint.Hubby and I get our favorite "angry bird" sandwiches there, which are not on the menu anywhere else in the north country, and of course ice cream. In all my travels domestically and abroad, this is one of the very few places that I would travel extra distance to get ice cream from. As local BNB hosts, we recommend this place to our guests who want a "north country" dining experience.The service is great.Priced very reasonably.There is plenty of parking in the parking lot and along the road if you must. They offer dine-in or will prepare food for take-out.Will continue dining there.Suggested areas of potential improvement.1. Could use some updates with seating, lighting, bathroom, etc.2. I am not sure if the old garage bays next door are owned by the same people but I know a few local artists who could be commissioned to paint colorful mural-style art on those rather unattractive old bays and make the outdoor area more exciting.3. Outdoor tables are awesome, and very convenient, however during the warm season, when not cleaned promptly, which happens frequently, attract yellow jackets, it will keep even nonallergic folks on edge, or the sticky mess gets covered in dust making it harder to wipe with just a napkin. We have used our own cleaning supplies to clean them up in the past but we do not always have those with us in the car. Perhaps wiping them more often and providing customers with a way to wipe their own tables at busy times of the day could make the situation more manageable.4. Feature diner-style art from local north country artists and crafters.”

“Our party of five loved each and every dish that we ordered. The server was excellent! He was very accommodating and we have a family member with a wheat allergy and he took great care to make sure she was safe. The sorbet palette cleanser and the chocolates at the end of the meal were a nice touch. The decor is very homey and comfortable. We have two children attending college in the North country and have found the dining choices in the area very limited. This place is a gem!”

“Dunkin' in Potsdam on Maple street is awesome!! They always have my order done fast and correctly. I very much recommend going here. Although, they are connected directly with Mountain Mart, so if you were looking for a quieter place to eat in, DD on Maple st. is not typically very quiet. They're nice and thoughtful employees, they never fail to put a smile on my face! I enjoy coming to Dunkin' for some coffee and bagel minis DD, you guys are doing awesome! Keep up the great work!”

“Wonderful homemade bread from the brick oven. They accommodated for preferences and allergies. Wonderful Chicken picata, wine and dessert. Great music too! The building was moved from mid Town and was the old Depot station and I believe The Depot pizza place that had Great Sicilian pizza back in 1977!Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp and wide door.”
