“Definitely a hidden gem in Potsdam. My husband and I had several excellent and delicious lunches. This is THE place to buy steaks. The steaks are exceptional fresh or properly aged. We purchased aged delmonico which was half the cost from Wegmans. We’ve now had multiple purchases of picanha beef. These picanha beef are most yummy and inexpensive beef. I highly recommend the place for meal or purchase meats.”

“I love grabbing lunch here! They serve vegan food that everyone, even meat eaters, will love. I'm particularly fond of their smoothie bowls. I've also gotten toast with avocado and tomato made with a deliciously hearty bread. I have brought numerous people here to eat and everyone is able to find something they enjoy. The eat-in space is bright and roomy and I've never had difficulty getting a table. If you're looking for someplace where you can get quick food that is absolutely delicious and healthy on top of it, definitely consider coming here.Vegetarian options: Everything served here is vegan.Kid-friendliness: The bright interior space is very kid friendly.”

We have been to many steak houses, expensive restaurants and this meal outdid them all. We came as a family, at the recommendation of some of the Potsdam hockey team players . “Awesome little hole in the wall place. Limited hours but totally worth it. I would recommend planning to be there right at opening time. They appear to have music and a food truck on site. The food was awesome, and the beer was great! They had a ton of options on tap as well! Which was surprising. Highly recommend for great beer and a good time.”

“Staff was very friendly. They were accommodating when learning how to make my favorite Starbucks drink, which staff on shift that day hadn't made before. It turned out great! I try to stop by there as a treat whenever I travel to Potsdam for my physical therapy. I'm always greated with a smile. Definitely a gem I discovered one day.Parking: This is located at a college campus. So depending on the time of day, whether you are a student, etc. could likely factor into finding a place to park. I am disabled and have yet to experience a problem finding a handicap space.Wheelchair accessibility: The doors are able to open automatically.”

“Have had both breakfast and lunch here 4 or 5 times...Breakfast meals were always good with cheese omelets served with salsa on the side, sausage, toast and home fries. Always cooked to my liking. Lunch however has been hit or miss. I always order a cheeseburger with either fries or macaroni salad or regular salad. The cheeseburger is always ordered as medium well-done and is never cooked that way...always comes out over cooked or under cooked... The bun it is served on is so thick, you can hardly get it into your mouth. Please consider going with another bun that is a thinner bun. The salads are often perfect, sometimes with not all the same ingredients included though. Consistency in the house salad would be nice. With the waitresses serving, I would like them to be mindful, that they should check back once or twice during the meal to see if everything is acceptable or if anything else is needed, like a refill. Every time I have eaten here, they walk by the table, and even though I reach out to get their attention, they never return to address my concerns. What is up with that. Retraining by the owner is required. You WILL lose paying customers by customers experiences.”

“Continuing my journey through Potsdam eateries after watching Clarkson Women’s hockey, stopped at McDuff’s for the first time. Place is kind of oddly laid out. Didn’t really have the cozy Irish pub vibe. More sports bar. Waitress seemed to on her own with a decent sized crowd which slowed service some.The Buffalo Chicken Poutine app was huge and had a very unique flavor. It had a bit of a kick to it, so if you don’t like hot (spicy) food you may want to pass on this one. I enjoyed my signature Reuben, however the fries weren’t good. Kind of soggy. Grease might need to be changed.They have a few televisions on the wall with various sporting events on and a couple of electric dart boards.”

“Went there a week or two ago food was good, service was good. The owner is kind of rude to his employees, hovers over them and very disrespectful. Our bartender was very nice, and paid attention to us and was very attentive to our drink needs. It's not always about the workers the employer needs to be more respectful. When I was paying our bill he jumped in grabbed the money from bartender and took over. I was not impressed at his behavior as an owner.”

“Tried them today while visiting Potsdam and I was so happy to have such a wide variety of gluten free foods. I got a chicken, bacon, ranch wrap with a side order of poutine and it was delicious! I picked up some bakery items including cupcake and cinnamon rolls, and even grabbed a full piping bag of apple cider donut batter from their grab-n-go freezer. They had whole cakes, breads, scones, and soo much more on their food menu. 10/10 I can’t wait to visit again, this place is a must-go when I’m Potsdam!”

“the owner’s husband is a professor at one of the local colleges and he’s been bringing in her deserts for his class for years; Sweet Margaret is delicious and made with care as those associated are truly caring individuals.Dietary restrictions: I’m wheat intolerant and the macarons have never bothered me. Though I’ve never asked, I assume theyre made with almond flour.”

“Who doesn't love some soft serve on a hot summer night? This is our go-to place for a cone or small Sunday in the summer. It is open seasonally and has your usual assortment of soft serve and hard ice cream. I love peanut butter topping on my Sundays and there's is very tasty. It can take a little time at the beginning of the summer for them to get into their groove. Stick to ordering off the menu as I have found, when you try to customize your order, the pricing gets a little inconsistent.”
