“We held my daughter’s bridal shower there and can’t say enough good things about this place! Starting with Jose, who had everything under complete control to the most delicious food that the guests are still talking about! We had a mozzarella and tomato appetizer, penne vodka, chicken martini (which was unbelievably delicious) and salmon. Even the bread and biscotti were great! Red and white sangria was a nice touch to the meal. The wait staff went above and beyond to anticipate our needs. DEFINITELY 5 STARS!!”

“Honestly not bad for a ramen in Westchester. I feel like the ramen was a tad bit bland, but it was better with the Nori Seaweed as a topping. The atmosphere is quite dark but still tolerable if you're willing to not complain over lighting. The service was quite amazing.”

“This place is iconic in the food industry. You will not find a better hot dog anywhere. It is truly unique to Walter's. There is no inside, so you just walk up to the window and place your order. They do have many picnic tables, so seating is not really an issue. Parking is limited in the back and street, but you can find a spot most days.

“My friend and I went into Jill’s on a busy Wednesday evening. A very nice crowd filled the bar and seats. We started off with the Birria Tacos which were amazing and ordered a steak sandwich each. When I say that the sandwich was amazing, it was really amazing!!! I would recommend Jill’s to anyone looking for a very nice, casual restaurant!!”

“Our first time driving through the town and decided to try this place! Service was excellent t and staff was very welcoming! Food was great and presentation was very appealing. We ordered the appetizer combo and they added free stuffed grape leaves as well for free. I Would definately recommend to friends and family! I would have given 5 stars but I think the only thing the food lacked was salt….It was a bit bland for our taste but none the less delicious.”

“We were able to snag a table for two at the last minute with the help of a very accommodating hostess. We spent 10 minutes waiting at the bar, where the bartender was quick, efficient and friendly. Our table was a cozy (not cramped) corner booth for two and the seating was very comfy. Laraine was our sever and she was great. Attentive without intruding. Quick without being frantic. Excellent excellent service. The food was delicious and served hot. There is nothing that we would change about our visit except we should have tried this restaurant sooner!”

Opinions about this Mamaroneck institution are as strong and mixed as their cocktails, but as various bars open and close all around it, this place stays true to itself. It's a neighborhood dive bar of the sort that are ubiquitous in my native Wisconsin, but rare gems in the NYC metro. Craft cocktails and small batch IPAs will not be found here, but simple mixed drinks and domestic drafts are always on hand. Darts and a few other bar games are cheap or free, and the beautiful original window storefront opens up wide to let the warm air in on summer nights. I have had some great memories here and it always feels like a sip of home.”

“Great food. The Plain Tart yogurt is second to none. You can't find that kind of quality tart yogurt anywhere else. I literally came from work in the Bronx straight to Mamaroneck to pick up a Quart of the Plain Tart. They make it in-house, and its consistently a top quality product. I would highly recommend Esy Kafe.”

Lots of interesting soda options. The chef/owner was so welcoming and nice to talk to. We had a very nice conservation and she treated us like family which is very rare nowadays. Love to see such a welcoming family owned business. The chef even offered for us to call her for cooking advice. The music playing was also awesome. Gluten free friendly. Knowledgeable about what options were gluten free. Would recommend to anyone interested. 10/10 fantastic experience!!!!

Our waiter was very pleasant and competent. We shared delicious eggplant rolletini for an appetizer. I ordered the tasty Piccolo Mulino salad for my main course and my dining partner chose one of the specials: a half lobster and seafood with linguine in fra diavolo sauce. Just the right level of piquancy. We shared three mini cannoli for dessert. All very yummy. We will definitely be back.”

“Really good cookies here for the most part. Soft and chewy, so it makes it easier to share. I think it's the best out of the local spots. They use a heating lamp to keep the cookies warm, so it's always ready to go with no wait. The parking can be hit or miss on this busy street. If you go down the road past here and make a right at the traffic light, there's more street parking and a parking garage. The pro is parking is free on Sundays and I believe after a certain time on the weekdays. I'd recommend the oreo cheesecake, cookie monster, red velvet, and the recess cookies.”
