“We tried the breakfast burrito, strawberry pancakes and avocado toast. All tasted really good! Oh and the fresh baked muffins and croissants were delicious too!“

“The first Original Pancake House I visited was in Woodbridge NJ. And I left a raving review for them. The managers came to personally greet us and welcome us and they gave us a run down of items on the menu. This location had the same good food. Everyone was polite and courteous but Woodbridge went that extra mile.“

“I’m in bed hungover thinking of the best bagel I’ve ever had and realized I never left this place a review. I was a traveling consultant staffed on a project in white plains and my coworkers and I would stop at this bagel place for a pick me up EVERY Monday on my way up from LaGuardia during our 9 month assignment. I cannot overemphasize the highlight these bagels provided to my Monday. Amazing crispy bagels without being toasted, the freshest lox in all the land, and service that shined like my north star. Do yourself a favor and stop by whenever you are in town, you will not be disappointed, and if I was not in bed 3000 miles away I would 100% be getting this for breakfast.“

“This place is underrated here on City Island where the only options you have for breakfast are Dunkin Donuts and the crowded diner. Where are you gonna get a bacon egg and cheese on a roll with coffee and including a tip for 5 bucks? Nowhere. Just here. :)They have daily authentic Mexican specials ( it is Mexican owned) And MOFUNGO! It a big menu and includes pernil which usually sells out shortly after it is finished cooking. The staff is very friendly , the place adheres and goes beyond covid protocols and the prices are VERY reasonable. 4 outdoor tables for "dine in"“

“Nice local option.I'm not even sure of the name of this place as I believe ownership might have changed at some point or two. On Google, it's 'Tu Cafe' - on Yelp it's 'G & M Coffee Shop' - and on the menu I have it just says 'Cafe'.I've been here several times, and it's been a reliable, nice option and local business.Place is comfortable. Not overly large, but there are plenty of areas to sit both at a table or at the counter. I've only ordered to go, so I have no comments about the in-dining experience.I've only been ordering breakfast items, but upon last visit I decided to try more options the next time I come here. But the breakfast I have ordered has been good each time. The hot food behind the glass looks appetizing and I plan to try that next time I pass by.Staff has been friendly. I've mainly dealt with the one in the front and she's always very pleasant and welcoming.Parking is metered street or the municipal lot on the next block. Don't take chances without paying, because the parking violation police are here checking very frequently. For locals of course, walking is the best option. All in all, a nice local business and again, great option in the area. I will be back of course.“

“Eat there a once or twice a week for lunch break. Amazing server, cheap food which is some of the most amazing I have ever had. Feels like a real Lunchenette from the 90s. Local place with nice people and a wonderful ambiance, calm and happy.“
