“The food is great. The hot dogs taste very different than your traditional ballpark dog, but in a good way. Great mustard. Very cool, early 1900s building. Plenty of parking in back. Very inexpensive.”
“Wonderful Family owned ristorante. Menu is exquisite with choices for all tastes and palettes. Sizable portions and attentive staff leave you with a satiating experience. I further recommend the desserts and Lemon Basil Martini! :)”
“This restaurant has it all the drinks are excellent along with the service. The food is always delicious served hot and spaced out well. Teddy is always very accommodating that makes the visit even better.”
“Our visit to Dragon Tea and Mochi Donuts in Mamaroneck, NY was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a charming ambiance. We kicked off our experience with the Matcha Strawberry Latte – a beautifully crafted drink that not only looked stunning but also delighted our taste buds with its perfect blend of flavors. The Milk Tea with boba was a dairy-free delight, and the Brown Sugar Latte with almond milk was an absolute standout – rich, creamy, and oh-so-satisfying!But let's talk about those mochi donuts – fresh, fluffy, and downright addictive! Each bite was a burst of flavor, and we couldn't get enough. It's wonderful to see that Dragon Tea and Mochi Donuts offers dairy-free options like almond milk and oat milk, catering to various dietary preferences.Special shoutout to Gael for his exceptional service and for recommending some fantastic teas – your attention to detail and hospitality truly made our visit memorable!Overall, Dragon Tea and Mochi Donuts exceeded our expectations, and we're already planning our next visit. If you're in Mamaroneck, this charming spot is a must-visit for tea lovers and mochi donut enthusiasts alike! There are also locations in the Bronx and NYC!”
“Whoever gives this place 1 star with eats in olive garden or drives thru fast food. As a second generation Italian, i grew up with my Grandmother and mother making homemade pasta and my aunt making fresh bread every Sunday morning, Italian cookies, pastries and cheesecake. Osteria Padre Pio is the best and most authentic Italian restaurant in NY. If you grew up in an Italian home, walking into Osteria Padre Pio takes you back to the 1960’s. Whether Sunday dinner, or out on a date, or dining with relatives, you recall fond memories from childhood with each bite. The service is spot on and Chef Andrea is always willing to make whatever you want whether on the menu or not.One night i went by myself. I began with Rughetta Caprino. It is an incredible salad made with baby arugula, goat cheese, sliced apple, radish, walnuts, and Amalfi lemon dressing. Some may say it is just a salad, but it is a demonstration of how everything on the menu is elevated. The salad is a melody of salt, sweet, bitter, and sour merged into an opera of flavor. I followed this up with an unbelievable Veal Chop grilled over hard wood. The Veal Chop was incredibly tender, had the char from the wood and was perfectly seasoned to make every bite an experience. A simple cannoli for dessert was simply the best cannoli I have ever had. I would say I would go back but that is an understatement as I go there multiple times each week. The staff treat you like family and it isn’t just great food, but a dining experience that most under 40 have never had. Run don’t walk to Osteria Padre Pio!”
“This restaurant hit every single mark and was absolutely exceptional. We got the beet salad, French onion soup, and onion tart to start, followed by the duck and beef stew for dinner. For dessert we had a chocolate mousse and moscato. Every single bite of every dish we had was packed with flavor. The house wine was delicious. Our waiter was so helpful and recommended all of the dishes to us and we're so happy he did because we truly enjoyed the whole experience. Service, food, ambiance 10/10!! This was our first time here and might become one of our regular spots if it stays consistent! Go try it!!!!!”
“We came here looking to fix a craving for traditional ramen without the hassle of travelling down to NYC. Upon entering we were greeted and sat ourselves down. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. We had to place our orders via our phones, which is convenient because they're arranged based on your seat, and it ensures that your order is taken and prepared correctly. We shared an order of Takoyaki and Pork Shumai, both of which came out fantastic. Presentation was perfect and the takoyaki was crispy and flaky on the outside, and soft on the inside. The texture of the shumai was excellent as well. For her entree my friend got the Duke's Shrimp Boil and added a boiled egg, nori, and scallions. I got the Chicken Chashu Ramen and added scallions, a boiled egg, bok choy, nori, and spicy crunchy garlic oil. We both tried each other's ramen and agreed that both were masterfully prepared. Portions were generous and filling and everything tasted as expected. The presentation was also superb and overall it was an amazing experience. For dessert I decided to try some of the mochi. I got three flavors: salted caramel, cake batter, and vegan lychee. The salted caramel and cake batter mochi were good. Nothing spectacular but good enough. The vegan lychee wasn't too good in my opinion. Maybe it's the fact that it was vegan, but didn't like it at all. The texture was crumbly and had a gritty mouth feel. For how good everything else was, I was a little disappointed with the mochi, but it's only a small part of the experience.Overall I think Duke's Ramen is definitely worth visiting for ramen connoisseurs. Besides the mochi, everything else was fantastic and affordable, with very fair portions. I should mention also that the restaurant was also very clean. I will definitely return to try their other offerings”
“This place is great. Unfortunately I am posting this a little too late, so I forgot what food I had but I remember we had a great time. There was four of us. Service was great. Food was excellent because it wasn't. I wouldn't have kept the check in or I would've gave you a bad review but all in all I know we had a good time and it is a jewel hidden away off Marin Avenue where all the other restaurants are.”
“Excellent place. Great atmosphere. Awesome food. Friendly and great service. My kids loved wings, tequeños and arepas. Delightful.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu. Family ambience.”
“Amazing authentic Mexican/ Salvadoran cuisine. Three of us tried: 1) torta milanesa - chicken was tender and the bread was soft, very filling, we brought half home, 2) seafood soup- so much seafood (crab, fish, shrimp, mussels, squid, clam) and huge- very big, good to share among 3 people if you're sampling lots of dishes, 3) birria tacos which were flavorful and fresh (didn't come with consommé), 4) al pastor tacos, touch of sweetness, 5) pork, cheese, beans papusa (very filling, we shared 1, 6) guacamole which was presented in a traditional bowl and wasn't too spicy and 7) a elote tamale but haven't tried it yet bc we were so full so we packed it to-go. Service was good and the place had fun music videos playing. We would gladly come back. Everything was fresh, tasty and affordable.”
“Where do I begin?!!! I have been trying to get a reservation at Tentempie Madrid & finally received my call for a table... The Owner Carlos called to discuss his availabilities and mention that Tentempie Madrid is a traditional tapas with only small plates, NO MAIN COURSE and house wines and beer... Loved the call, perfect table for two at 7:30!My boyfriend and I were greeted by the Owners wife, and seated right away... She was just as lovely! What a great duo!! My boyfriend & I could be wrong BUT they seemed to be the only two running the magic over there... And they do it very very well!!!!! What a treat we were in for!!!FOOD: 5 STARS! We started off with drinks, we were unsure of which wine or beer to go with and Carlos's wife had no problems letting us taste them so we enjoyed what we ordered... LOVED THAT!!! There were so many choices... After we made our decision we put ourselves in the mindset to sit back relax & not RUSH.... Seems like (well i'll speak for myself as an American) we RUSH through everything... For food we did order the paella (made to order and takes about 55 minutes) again NO RUSHING, enjoy your wine, tapas in between, & your company.... Every dish we ordered, the flavors just took us right to Spain! We had the Jamon Iberico (order that!) the SHRIMP!!!! I'm still thinking about it, and every other dish!!!!!SERVICE: 5 STARS! Top notch!!! She didn't skip a beat with us or any other table for that matter! Very impressiveATMOSPHERE: 5 STARS! Small intimate piece of gold! Barrel high-tops and a few tables... The bathroom was spotless, that's a thing for me...After dinner service was complete, Carlos who is also the Chef checked in with every table with his lovey wife and offered us a traditional house after tapas drink (i can not remember the name, but it was so good!)Also, I did ask the Owner her name... It was a very beautiful name that I have a hard time pronouncing and unsure how to spell. (my apologies that I keep referring to her as "she")Thank you guys for such an unforgettable night.”
“The location is attached to the end of a craft beer market. Little hard to find. Have to continue walking past it outside and there's a door on the side. They do serve food however I didn't try any. I sampled the house lagers, IPA's and Stouts. Their main stout is absolutely phenomenal. The IPA's left a little to be desired for me. I like my IPA's with more of a hoppy bite at the end. The Lager was incredibly smooth and would be a great all day tailgating beer. Bar managers were very insightful about the products they had. Would recommend.”
“Had a phenomenal time for early dinner here. The food was delicious, the staff was wonderful ( Agusto in particular) was very attentive and accommodating as we were with three little ones. Will definitely be returning!”
“Everything was really good, from the food to the people. Really nice service, really polite and patience (i had dificulties to pay, since i didnt have cash) btw this is an ONLY CASH stablishment. But I gave 4 cuz of personal preference. The rice can be changed to a normal white rice. That rice is kind of not that tasty and it is damn pricy.Parking: Not that many spots. I got lucky I got one right in front of it. But it has a 30 min parking spots.”
“Augustine has become my favorite restaurant in the Mamaroneck area. The fresh pasta with seasonal preparations are always divine and not your classic Italian dishes (e.g. gnocci with the lamb neck meat this spring, and wild boar in the winter), the wine on point, and the service warm and authentic. The atmosphere is elevated bistro, so it works for date night or dinner with friends but the food is significantly better than any other local restaurant. The chef didn't earn a Michelin bib for nothing.”
