Poler's Pub, formerly known as O'Brien's, is a popular local bar and eatery located in Medina. The new owner, who is a military veteran, took over in 2021 and has made some changes while still maintaining the cozy and familiar atmosphere. The pub is known for its horseshoe-shaped bar, which encourages good conversation, and its three-season outdoor space that can accommodate overflow during busy times.
Poler's Pub offers a variety of food and drinks, including a different delicious burger each week, almost a full alphabet of great beer choices, a decent wine inventory, and live music. The pub is open more hours and later than any other public gathering place in Medina.
The "Pub Chub" burger on the menu is a customer favorite, and the chicken pot pie soup is described as the most amazing, delicious, and best-tasting soup ever. The staff, including the bartenders, are friendly and attentive.
There is plenty of free parking, but it is important to note that Poler's Pub is located next to the Medina police station. It is recommended to use a designated driver or take an Uber home if necessary.
