Cosimos is always amazing. I love the atmosphere and the lighting and the service is always impeccable. Because it was Friday evening and we didn't have reservations, I didn't expect for us to be able to get a table let alone get seated right away so that was awesome. My wife and I go to the Middletown NY location often. The food is always fantastic. Growing up in Essex County NJ where there are tons of Italian restaurants I found it hard to find great Italian living in Sussex County NJ. This is by far our favorite Italian place to eat. The service is always right on point and the restaurant is always packed. The manager Patricio is suck a great asset to this business. We always look forward to date night at Cosimo's.
Very disappointing. They recently changed their fried calamari to a low quality product. They piled it up in the middle of the plate and put cheese on top of it. Its no longer the rings its mostly little the little squid looking pieces. I've dined here for years but will not be coming back due to cosimos trying to squeeze a little more profit out of what used to be a good tasting appetizer.

I eat here once a month with business associates. The atmosphere is excellent. Food is OK. I have had just about everything on the menu and nothing I would ever order again. This restaurant is overrated. It is a great place to socialize, but don't come here for just the food.
