“Day trip to Cooperstown to see Escher collection at the Fenimore. Stopped at this local brewery for a bite to eat and test out their beer. Cute little facility with the friendliest of bartender. Despite the number of people at the bar, she worked with everyone to ensure they were paid attention to and answered questions. I tried the stout, burly Beard, very good, full flavor. They had a good truck, Gabriana's Mobile Express. Pizza slice, quesadillas and loaded waffle fries! All fabulous. We ate all of it. Place has inside and outside seating, quiet area with games to play inside.”

“Nice breakfast place with a unique ordering system. Order and tip at the counter, pour your own coffee, have a seat and in a few short minutes breakfast is served. Tasty breakfast fare....not a fan of paper plates but it served well. Tad too much hollandaise on the eggs Benedict but a well made sauce. Hubby also ordered French toast and would have like maple syrup but it was well cooked and enjoyed. Easy peasy to get to on Rt 28 on our way to 88 leaving Cooperstown. A good stop.”

“Awesome, we got 2 appitizers, the olives and the flat bread, both delicious. Then we got 2 dinners, the clams over pasta and the hanger steak, both excellent! And a bottle of wine. Perfect! We didn’t have reservations but we were able to sit at the bar which was so much fun! We will be back!”

“The Papri Chaat is a five-star appetizer— delicious mix of yogurt and spices on wheat “crisps,” similar to bhel puri but better texture. The pappadum are a must as well. So is an order of the (spicy hot) mixed pickles, in case the entrees aren’t spicy enough for your tastes. I got the chicken curry— generous portion, and tasty with the pickles and naan. (The rice was just ok, though, so I’d get extra naan next time.) My companion got the stuffed mushrooms, which were unexciting but probably not a good bet at an Indian restaurant to begin with. Good beer options, excellent service. A place not to miss in Cooperstown.”

“One of the nicest Italian restaurants my husband and I have gone to. The staff is always on point. The lighting is perfect and the food is absolutely fantastic. Also one of the cheapest uncorking fee too if you bring your own wine or champagne. Anyone looking for great food, great service, and great ambiance I would go here.”

“My family and I absolutely love this place!!! Not only is the ice cream absolutely delicious but the family that owns this business are so nice and go out of the way for their customers!! We came across Adelaide when trying to find an ice cream cake 2 years ago and have been back multiple times. My kids have now decided if we can’t celebrate their birthdays upstate then they want to bring the cakes back to Long Island. We did this past week we traveled 4 hours with our Gluten free mint Oreo cake and it survived with a cooler and lots of ice. Take the extra time if you don’t live near by to take the drive try it you won’t be disappointed!!”

“This place is amazing! Every beer is perfect and their food tastes so good it'll make you wanna slap your momma. We started with the fried green beans served in a darling little fry basket, and for entrees we had the haddock patty with red potato salad and the SpurBurger II. I had a full pour of the Leatherstocking Brown Ale and a small pour of the Sleeping Lion Red Ale and the Irish Red.”

You can create a great basket of awesome little gifts and or their genuine bagels. Will be back again to eat and shop! On my way out I saw a lovely qaint room for enjoying their lovely brews and relaxing...I'll do that too next time!”

The crunch coated strawberries were unique and ended up being my favorite. The cake was perfect red velvet with a light frosting that wasn’t too sweet.”

“Our second full night in Cooperstown and we tried Mel's on 22 and so happy that we did. Our waitress was so nice and very helpful with information about places in town. I loved the chandeliers in the dining area and the local photographs. The chicken soup was very good, but the beet salad was amazing. We added blackened chicken to the beet salad and the chicken was moist and tender. We have decided to go back tomorrow for lunch. When you find something good.....stick with it.”

“Our server, Caleb, was just *absolutely* wonderful! Friendly, attentive, just what a server should be. And the food...!! Delicious. I wish I could give more than five stars! Our food was hot, well seasoned, and cooked to perfection. The menu has something for everyone. Upstate Bar and Grill will be our go-to whenever we're in the area. Fabulous atmosphere as well. Do yourself a huge favor and go! You won't be sorry.”

“Had my hubby's 40th bday party there this past Saturday and I could not be more impressed! Not only was the food amazing and the venue beautiful, the staff was so helpful and sweet! They even helped me decorate to make sure it started on time! Anything I requested they accommodated. I will most Def be back for more parties in the future. “Best barbecue in Oneonta unlike the dried out tasteless barbecue at Brooks that is probably the worst barbecue I have ever had, how they became so popular is beyond all common sense dried out and tasteless unlike Andres which is a traditional southern rub with true smoke flavor and juicy beyond expectations, not ur average barbecue and never disappointing”

“So, I went with my fiancé, we were visiting town and wanted to have coffee. Lattes to be more specific. So we found this "café" we didn't see lattes in the menu so I asked the waitress "do you serve lattes?" and to my surprise she said "no". Lol I know I must have had a dumbfounded look on my face. Anyhow we decided to order the fried plantains, it's an appetizer dish and a couple draft beers. The plantains were delicious. A must try if you come here. I can't really rate the food besides that cause all we tried were the fried plantains. I gave it 4 stars because personally I think cafes should have lattes and more coffee drinks, idk, just my opinion. Service was great the host and the waitress were very pleasant and the place looks nice.”

“Very nice little place. Pleasant atmosphere decent food.. very retro looking dinner and ice cream. Decorated in a coke theme. And decorated with hundreds of vintage lunchboxes and model cars. There is even a toy train that runs around the dining area near the ceiling. The food and the ice cream is always worth the trip. I highly recommend you stop in. They are closed during the winter season.”

“It is just a great place to have a dinner. Cost between 30/50$ with a beer, including tips. The non-spicy is still a little spicy (pepper taste) but if you are close to it, go!??”
