“My brother moved by this spot like a month ago and I know this place OH SO WELL. ? I’m in Freeport and I haven’t found empanadas as good as Mamma Gina’s. When I tell you the food just hits every time, they’re honestly so consistently great.Parking: It’s a small lot, so just take it slow turning into it.“

“A small place that should be big. The food is delicious, the attention of the two guys there is incredible, the place is impeccably clean, the prices are reasonable for the amount of food they serve... anyway. Don't hesitate, if you have the opportunity to go, go and enjoy something really delicious and cozy. ??“

“Fantastic food and service! Natalia is a very attentive and sweet waitress and her service was excellent. The bandeja paisa was delicious and so was the tostones rellenos ? the ambience was great for family night or date night, with live music mixed with TVs showing the games. My husband and I will be back!“

“It's date night but we've got a plus .5 with us. Not gonna stop me from giving you my honesty about this diner. It's crazy packed in here but service is moving very fast. Delicious hot plates sizzling left and right if you. The menu looks huge, but don't be alarmed it's the same menu just in both English and Spanish side by side. The ambiance was very diner style but a high performing one. The owner/manager was coming around like clock work. Service was outstanding. Food quality was stellar, the waiter quickly explained the menu. We opted for steaks that came with a side salad, rice and beans, and maduros. Steaks arrived on a sizzling cast iron plates and they were smelling phenomenal. There were juices running down my side right after the first bite. Perfectly seasoned and even better with their home made Chimichurri. Although I did feel a bit rushed to leave, I was still pretty impressed with the food quality and service. Will definitely be back to try more of the menu. PS - the tres leches was fantastic, not as good as the Mofongo place, but definitely very good decision for dessert. Happy yelping and enjoy this recommendation.“

“Love Ceci's! I have been missing arepas since I moved from NYC to LI. I am so happy to discovered Ceci's. I usually get the chicken and avocado arepa. The cheese sticks and rice & beans are delicious add-ons. It is good for at least 2 meals but I usually eat most of it since it is so good.“

“Kind of a hidden gem. Food is good. Prices are reasonable but if you're looking for something trendy this is not the place. At first glance. I don't think most people would even realize that they serve food it just looks like a small bakery. Don't let that intimidate you sit at one of the tables. Look through the menu and give the food a try.“

“Excellent place, food, wonderful service, I ordered a chicken combo, and I was surprised by the amount they served, up to 3 people can eat, best of all at a very good price, I ate a stuffed potato and I loved it, highly recommended, they have very good variety of food.“

“Went here for a breakfast/brunch with my mom and we got the Mexican and Colubian breakfasts along with a coffee each. We also got the guacamole and jalapeños sauces.Coffee was very nice, not too strong and very smooth. My mom loved the Mexican breakfast. The beans were very flavorful and the egg scramble paired very well with pickled jalapeños. The tortillas were nice and hot and didn't break apart even when piled high with beans, rice, and eggs. Highly recommend.I also very much recommend the Columbian breakfast which came with an arepa with cheese, steak, and the same egg scramble. The steak was pretty good. While thin and cooked all the way through, it was crusty, well seasoned, and tender. I poured loads of the jalapeño sauce on top which was great. The arepa was also very nice, crispy bottom and nice gooey cheese. The sauces were also pretty good. I highly recommend the jalapeño sauce. A little kick balanced with a good sour and sweetness. The guacamole sauce was also pretty good, if a bit watery. The portions of the meal were perfectly good and filled you up but for $15 a pop, it's most definitely not an every morning meal. The highlight really was the service. Thr food arrived quickly and hot. The lady at the front desk was very nice and offered for us to finish our meals before paying. She seemed very enthusiastic and was happy to give me more jalapeño sauce when asked. The dining area itself was clean and cute. Nice music and vibes. The cushions on the seats were clean and not deflated and the tables were very clean.Overall, very nice place to eat with some damn good food. If you're looking for a great weekend breakfast/lunch, come here.“
“If you want Home Cooked Colombian Meals and variety of colombian goods and snacks come here! Food was Great, the attention was perfect, and they had a great variety of authentic colombian products. It felt like i was back in colombia! I suggest you come here.“
“My family found this gem. It's a small little shop with reasonably priced, delicious food. There is a pretty expansive menu and plenty of desserts. The place is in a pretty busy area, but there is a lot in the back. Bring change for the meters. There is parking in the front, but that is hard to comeby. There are tables inside, but we are more of a take out people lately. The staff was friendly, place seemed clean and the food is good. If you like Columbian, give this place a shot.“

“Came here for a quick lunch during my break. After moving to Long Island it is quite difficult to find a Spanish restaurant. I found this restaurant on google. When I arrived, I was immediately greeted. There are some people behind the counter that speak English but they speak mostly Spanish. I do speak Spanish, but it was good to know that there are other people that can speak English, because I wanted to share this restaurant with my colleagues at work and they do not speak Spanish. Everyone was friendly, kind, and helpful. I ordered the special of the day which was caldo de res (beef soup)- there is an option to order it "Complete" which comes with rice topped with beef stew, macaroni salad, and plantain. I got a Colombiana soda to go with it and it was perfect!!! it was nice, clean, bright inside and the bakery is to die for. I didn't get to take pictures of the empanadas and pan de queso I bought, but it's a MUST have. I would love to try their cakes next time, it looked so good!! they have a whole pastry/bread section. Definitely recommend this place“

“Delicious breaded fried chuletta served with salad, rice and beans, and maduras. Service is good. Wish I knew I'd be charged $9 for hot sauce though. Was there on Thursday night unaware it was Karaoke Night so it was very loud. Food never disappoints.“

“Looking for a local place to grab a cup of coffee and something sweet and google gave me this nearby bakery! Went in and the employees were all welcoming and the place was clean! I ordered a coffee and a piece of cake with dulce de leche on top. The coffee was delicious and the cake was so fresh and delicious!! I am glad I stopped at this little place on my way home to QUEENS! I would definitely return when back in the area. The only recommendation I have is that the staff should prepare and serve the coffee for patrons. I put together two cups of coffee and the coffee is scalding hot, if it were to spill it would burn really bad. Especially because of COVID, the staff should handle the coffee instead of having patrons touching everything. Aside from this one thing, the coffee and cake slice was amazing and I would recommend!!!“

“My husband and I had had very busy weeks and when I got home at 7:30 Sunday night we wanted to go to dinner. At someone's suggestion we went to Punto Rojo. We loved it. The salmon dinner was delicious as was the steak with avocado. Very generous portions. We brought desert home but haven't eaten it yet. The service was friendly and helpful and the restaurant is very clean. We will definitely be back.“

“My girlfriend and I would have never come here based on the reviews alone since I’m reading them just now as I’m leaving this review . But we came inside without knowing anything and honestly the food was so delicious the drinks were so good too. I’m so happy we came here without reading the comments and had our own experience. I’m not saying the comments are wrong as I don’t know the experience everyone had. But I do see that they are a bit outdated so I will say that this place has improved itself with wonderful staff and amazing food. They speak both English and Spanish. The portions of food really good for the price too. I say 5/5 review because of all these reasons. And I think it’s a bit sad they don’t have more reviews :) so come and have your own experience“

“We were in the area to see some friends who recommended this restaurant and ended up coming on a Sunday afternoon for lunch with a party of 6. We were able to be seated right away. The staff was nice, bilingual and able to answer all our questions and make the substitutions we requested. There is plenty of available seating, they have a full bar as well. I had the fresh mango juice with water which was delicious, my wife opted for passion fruit juice and she enjoyed it as well. As far as food, my wife went with the carne asada and substituted maduros for tostones. I had the breaded chicken with maduros, both came with a salad and rice and beans. Both were well seasoned but not salty, we really enjoyed the food, the servings were big but manageable. The prices aren't too high here, you definitely get your moneys worth and I would return!“

“I've never had authentic Columbian food before...... this was absolutely scrumptious. My daughter has been here but this is my first but definitely not my last time coming here. They have a bakery section that is beautiful and almost tooooo pretty to even contemplate eating......Almost The restaurant is clean, inviting with very friendly & helpful employees. There's plenty of cute tables throughout the restaurant. The menu is well planned without being large & intimidating. They have a nice selection of breakfast, appetizers, pasta, salads, soup, sandwiches native dishes, empanadas along with beef, chicken & seafood dishes. There's even a kids menu. Theres a nice selection of shakes, juices & other beverages. We both had the #2....Calentado Paiso which is a very large plate filled with grilled steak, fried pork belly, white rice with beans, egg, corn cake with cheese, sweet plantain & avocado. I had a wonderful blackberry mora en agai. We also shared a large slice of coconut cake which was moist, flavor& delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant and can't wait to come back“

“I ordered form this place and the food was fantastic. I recommend it. Here is warning, so not order their soups. I orders a beef rib soup and it was only broth with some vegetables, a large soup with absolutely no beef rib whatsoever. According to them it's like that. Never heard of something like this before.“

“Super low key colombian bakery/restaurant, so don't expect too much ambiance but the food and service arengood. We came on a Friday before a concert at the UBS area -- and will come back every time before a concert -- Bandera paisa is big and filling, enough for 2 probably. Empanadas and Colombian arepas are good and the juices are fresh“

“The staff was very busy but extremely friendly. There were a lot of folks dining in on a rainy night. The food was okay. My family is Costa Rican so I guess I’m just used to a different taste. The roasted chicken was a bit dry and the sweet plantains were tough. Not bad though!“
