“The most recent time I dined in this restaurant, it was very busy so we were told to seat by one of the available tables. (One of the employees working that day told us to as she was taking orders from another group.) Our server was attending to other guests, so we waited several minutes without complaint. However, the owner, noticed that we were not being attended to, greeted us, and proceeded to take our drink and appetizer order! (I thought, now this is someone who has the pulse of his business!) After we received our initial order, the server took the rest of our order. (She was also very attentive and pleasant.)Now, the food: I ordered the 3 amigos salad, which was fresh and surprisingly fulfilling for a salad! It had three types of proteins: shrimp, chicken, and churrasco (grilled beef). The greens were also fresh. I loved it. All in all, the prices are reasonable and the food is always great! The vibe inside is comfortable with a whole lot of stimulation: well lit, large TV screens, music, and the buzz of chatter. The whole environment is lively! It's just a great place to dine and chill. So, if you're in the area, go in. My family loved this place! One of my local favorites.“

“First, I have to say that this place is amazing!! We love it and the staff/service are great too. We have been going for a long time to buy from the bakery section but to actually sit and eat there, it’s been three times. Food is great, prices are great, and on Fridays and Saturdays they have live entertainment. They only negative is that the third time we went there it was packed and no tables were available. We were told we would receive a text so we sat outside in the car. We then noticed that a group of 3 were seated as soon as they walked in and a couple walked in and were taken to a table right away when we questioned the hostess she said nothing and smiled so I asked again why didn’t we receive a text and why were those people seated before us and she said the table took a few minutes to be ready which still didn’t make sense. We sat outside waiting for almost 15 minutes and others were seated right away. Mistakes happen and so we gave her the benefit of the doubt. We also tried to pay with a $50 Visa gift card and the cashier did not know how to do it so we had to pay with our debit. She claims it was declined but it has $50 and we called from there to prove it. Overall I still gave the restaurant as a whole a 5 because this is the first time today, 1/20/2024, that we had a semi negative experience. I definitely recommend this place.“

The seafood was not overcooked. The chaulafan was flavorful and contained a good amount of seafood (mussels, shrimp, and squid) and it wasn't rubbery at all! “I first ate here in 2012 with about 20 Colombian adoptees and have been back so many times despite not living in Queens. I thought it had a different name, but I recognize the decor. This place was amazing and we went around lunch time. Many of us have friends and family in Colombia and we loved this place so much. I remember going there with a friend and not really knowing for sure how to get there one time as we took the subway, but I was still able to locate it. During that weekend we also went to an overpriced place, attempting to be "upscale" and it was no where in the same category as this restaurant. They other place even ripped us on the bill because there were some many of us and they claimed we "must have bought alcoholic drinks". They ripped us off and a girl had to put it on her credit card to get the reservation and now the bill was about $300 to $375 more and we all knew what we ordered food wise and nobody drank I'm excess so we just all chipped in to cover this rip of. If that's not bad enough they had our event published in some magazine or newspaper. Don't waste your time with those places, go here and you will not be disappointed. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it. Ciao.“
