“Starting off the 2024 Montauk season with good eats, friendly staff and a relaxed unpretentious vibe. That’s The Point Bar & Grill. Don’t go if you’re looking for a “Manhattan goes to Montauk” place. This is a “Montauk, has always been here and still is, Montauk” place. Rare these days. Go enjoy and support this local gem. Great burgers, something for everyone on the menu, fair prices, and a genuine hello and thanks for coming at the door.See photo of one of my personal favorites … Blackened Tuna with veggies, hold the potato and substitute a salad. ?“

“I love the small town, beachy, nostalgic feel of John's Drive-In. I stopped here with a friend after climbing the lighthouse, strolling the beach, and shopping the town. The food hit the spot! It was a sunny winter afternoon, so we ate at one of the tables outside as the day began to wind down. It's now my go-to Montauk restaurant for a casual bite to eat. Highly recommend for the food and the feels.“

“Solid 5/5, you get exactly what you pay for, and the customer service is friendly. I had a short conversation with the owner where I remarked the Munch Box is one of the few places I remember vividly from my childhood that’s still around. Glad to see it hasn’t changed.“

“Visited for after-thanksgiving-breakfast with family. I like the surprisingly modern looking white interiors, and parking at the front (street) and the back (parking lot). We ordered French toast, Pancakes and Egg Benedict, which were all served well. Fresh fruits on top of the toast were a nice addition, and coffee/orange juice were above expectations. We were a bit frustrated when we found out tips should be paid by only cash. Had to trip to my car to find some. I understand there must be a reason, but it would have been great to be mindful that not many people carry cash nowadays. Other than that, it was a great cute place for breakfast during holidays.“
