“Man, after a day hiking out east we were craving a slice. Luckily we were able to swing into the greatest little pizza place in Montauk. And it was a perfect pairing with some Montauk Brewing Company beers. The pepperoni square was absolutely delicious and we will be stopping here every time we are out at the end.”

“Awesome brewery. I honestly expected it to be much larger since their beer is all over the island. The tap room is a little small for winter but no biggie. They have beers that are only available at the brewery, which is cool. It's definitely worth a stop in.”

“This review is for one thing and takeout only. The fried chicken. If you have a large group you are trying to feed while visiting Montauk this is a great option to consider. Oh, and though I said one thing... the other add-on you will want to consider for the fried chicken is the mashed potatoes. Get as much as you need for whatever sized group you are and everyone will be happy.”

“Yelp pictures made us order the tuna tartar and we're SO happy we did! I love that it was in a heart and it was sooo tasty. We waited a little while for a table but that was expected for a Friday night in the summer. You can't make reservations. We got a drink at the bar and waited outside. Lots of outdoor space and seating to sit out by the water. Very romantic! We ordered the cold lobster roll and lobster ravioli.”

“We had a great meal here last night. We enjoyed the kale salad, the fluke sashimi and the shrimp tacos. All were prepared really creatively with excellent ingredients. It was such a pleasant surprise to find such a good meal. Also had a really great cocktail. We were in Montauk for the weekend, and this was our first time to this restaurant. We will definitely come again. Take a look at the menu on the restaurant's website because the one on OpenTable was not accurate. Prices were lower at the restaurant website and were the accurate ones.”

“We saw this place on our way somewhere else, and the food and the atmosphere made us change our plans – so glad we did! Such good food and coffee! We got to enjoy our food sitting outside either the winter sun, and it became one of the most favorite moments of our trip! The ladies are very nice and welcoming, too! Highly recommended ?”

“If you love caesar salad like I do, you HAVE to go here during the open season. Their caesar salad incorporates dill into their home made caesar dressing and it is delicious beyond words. The croutons are made of toasted croissants. I mean, do I really need to say more about how insanely wonderful these salads are?! I have never craved salad before in my life until I tried this one. Every year I look forward to my trips to Montauk and the highlight of the trip is always my meal at the gig shack. There is nothing like it!”

“My favorite place! Open year round and affordable! Portion sizes are big, and food is delicious! All staff members are super friendly! The service is quick, even on the busiest of days. The meats they prepare change each day so you always have something new to try! It was a sunny winter afternoon, so we ate at one of the tables outside as the day began to wind down. It's now my go-to Montauk restaurant for a casual bite to eat. “The food is fresh made every day . However, the prices are ridiculous . it was 3 .99 for a jelly donut croissant. it was very small. with tax over 4 $ a donut is hard. they are the only breakfast bakery in town so it's a bakery that is a monopolized rip off”

“Tried this place with my friend when we were visiting during the summer and we loved it! We were new to the area and didn't really know where to go and we stumbled upon this place. Really nice views of the ocean and boats coming in. They had a very mellow vibe! We stayed here for probably 2 hours enjoying a few courses here and there of a variety of seafood. Everything was fresh and great. The service was so great and everyone working seemed so happy! I will say I think we overstayed our welcome because after a couple hours I had an important phone call and they seemed to be annoyed that we asked for a different table with a quieter setting but other than that everybody else was Amazing!”

“Mr. John's Pancake House is my go-to breakfast spot in Montauk! As soon as you walk in, you're greeted with old fashioned diner vibes and friendly service. The menu is filled with various breakfast dishes, from different types of pancakes and waffles to eggs, omelettes, and crepes. The restaurant is cozy with views of a bustling or sleepy Montauk Highway (depends on the season) and is great year round. I have happy memories here and will always return when in Montauk.”
