All the employees are ugly and have bad attitudes smh they barely ever have fried chicken and when they do they have specific instructions on who and how to sell it. Go to golden crust instead.matter fact dacks cuisine in the Bronx has GREAT food & even better customer service!

My REVIEW IS ABOUT THE SERVER NOT THE FOOD THE FOOD IS REALLY GOOD HERE!Went in Here and asked what soup they had for the day...the lady behind the counter...an older lady attitude is not welcoming AT ALLLL!! This food Here is very good I must say I've eaten from Here before...never encountered her but uhmmm yeah her attitude is definitely nit one that should greet customers with her face just tuned up and I'm asking a question which I asked 3 darn times because she spoke very low...so I turned around and left!!!

The food is very good. Well seasoned and good portions. There’s a good variety to choose from but it’s not always available. Rasta pasta & shrimp pasta are only available in the evenings along with other varieties of seafood.Service is hit and miss. Some are great with it and others…. Not so much. Overall, if you like good Jamaican food you should check this place out

This Jamaican Restaurant is my favorite place in Mt. Vernon to eat Caribbean Cuisine. The food is always Hot & Ready.. the flavors are always on-point, and their selections of beverages never disappoint. My favorite dishes that keep me returning are the Oxtail, The Stewed Chicken, and the Curried Chicken.

Ordered curry goat (Lg) with sweet plantains and cabbage. Instead I received a plate of white rice and a small portion of curry goat. Couldn’t send it back since I ordered thru DoorDash. What a waste of money. Will never order from there again.

The service and attitudes of the 2 servers/ cashiers are very distasteful. They ignore customers, do not service on a first come first serve basis and make incorrect orders. I was left to pack my items after the younger kady got mad at herself for an incirrect order. She literally walked away! I remained very calm, however. When I requested a refund that's when I was heard. I ordered the freshly made soup but it wasn't included in my order. Good thing because an object fell from the counter into it. Thank goodness I saw it. The server still asked why I no longer wanted the soup. Was she serious??? I will never patronize this business again. You try to support your own, but their attitudes are unsavory. I watched them make other erroneous orders as well. NEVER AGAIN FOR ME! I only tapped the 1 star so that I could place my review. But NEVER AGAIN. There are too many restaurants in the area serving Jamaican cuisine. I hope those 2 young ladies don't deter too many customers and the profits become compromised for the owners sake.

Good food but the service from the females could be way better.. just ordered some food and the woman put the wrong chicken pieces in my meal and I corrected her telling her breast, in which she got a attitude and mocked me with another co worker. Leave the attitudes at home and just do your job like you want to be there.
