“really nice place , great service, nice atmosphere . Food we ordered was great except their version of Lasagna was a small bowl with meat, pieces of lasagna pasta with 3 slices of Mozzarella melted over it . I’d definitely recommend the place but that meal wasn’t a good choice.“

“I am visiting the area and have visited twice. It's a great spot that I can highly recommend. Broad menu, prompt service, pleasant staff who do a good job serving you and very good food. It also has a nice clean bright atmosphere - just a great spot. So far I have enjoyed the eggs benedict and the sliced steak sandwich. You'll enjoy your meal. Thanks Northvale Diner!“

“Been here several times now. It's a nice local dinner. The staff was nice. The food came out quickly. There is a new owner who just took it over in 2024 or will be taken over shortly. Looking forward to eating there again shortly.Parking: Nice large lot“

“Update: food has gotten so much better and the service was awesome. I'm giving more stars.Cute old fashioned diner. They do have some interesting menu items that aren't typically seen in a diner. But it's mostly what you'd expect from a diner. Service was passable, food was just okay. Having said that New York is known for its diners. There are many very good diners in NY. I would say this one is right smack in the middle of the pack. I only ate there once but I would try it again to see if my second time was any better.Wheelchair accessibility: There is wheelchair accessibility.“

“I was visiting and taking care of my aunt in the area and my parents drove us to the 202 Diner. I'd never been here before but instantly knew what I wanted without looking at the menu. I knew that I had to try a cheeseburger with fries and a Diet Coke, my favorite diner food. I didn't have to look at the menu to know that they would have it. I also of course asked for dipping ketchup on the side. When my food came in a decent amount of time, I took note of the fact that my fries were warm but my burger was a little cold. It was still really good, but it could have been a little warmer. I know that I ordered my burger to be as rare as possible, but that shouldn't affect the temperature. Don't get me wrong, the food was still good, and I had a good time with my family. The bathrooms were clean, and our tables were clean too. The waiter who took our order was also friendly, and the prices were fair. I can't complain too much.“

“I do not know how I have not been here before! The food was delicious, the server was so nice and helpful and the owner was very nice. We were a party of 5, I called ahead to make sure there would be a table for us. Although we didn't need a reservation, she prepared a table for us. All 5 of us loved our breakfast. We will definitely be returning!“
