“Very good food and service. Has free soda refills.Vegetarian options: Many options without meat, no clear sections for vegetarian dishesParking: Large free parking lot, always a couple spots available even at the busiest timeKid-friendliness: Crayons for kids, good kids menu. Always a decent number of families with young kids and they try to seat those families in the same sectionsWheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible parking and ramp. The front door is not automatic but there is always a staff member nearby who can open the door if needed. Within the diner, most walkways and seating areas (2 out of three rooms) are wheelchair friendly“
“Always a hit, have been coming here for years. There is sometimes a wait, but it is worth it. The staff is consistent, friendly, and very funny once you get to talking. And those breakfast potatoes ? Their hostess, Ana, and the rest of their crew are top notch at all times!“
“This is a traditional NY style Greek diner, huge menu, coffee all day, porcelain booths, the works. Lots of seating including sides with fishbowl views of Westchester and Buhre Avenues ... If that is your thing. Such a place is a comfort for many, as it is for me.“
“Classic diner vibes with counter service and a lot of booths. Food is consistently good. They offer many gluten free options that are safe for celiac!Dietary restrictions: Plenty of gluten free options and the staff is very knowledgeable about allergens“
“Real old school diner . Cash only . Very homey feel with a lot of regular customers . The food is good diner food and the prices are really reasonable compared to other diners who recently jacked up their prices ridiculously . I'd say it's a good spot for a quick breakfast or lunch .“
“I love everything about this place. They deliver to my house when I’m lazy on Sundays and I brought two of my kids there and they’re very picky and they love it. Also, the quality of the food you would think that the prices would be way more than they are. This place is a hidden gem. I don’t understand why it’s not packed all the time.“
“From the moment I enter this coffee shop I felt welcomed. The owner greeted me and asked my request. My favorite breakfast is oatmeal made with water and I was thrilled that was how it was made. The waitress came and introduced herself and made me feel like a found a new place for my Breakfast. I’m used to another diner but my hairdresser moved across from this coffee shop. Coffee and a buttered roll for my husband and a special I hope you come back. The oatmeal was delicious and made to perfection and the experience brightened my day. I’ll be back. “A Very Very Very good Diner. Family owned putting out Fresh Food daily. Andy & Dino are fine owners and hosts who are passionate about food and high quality service - Attentive wait staff - Fabulous menue - Excellent Irish sausage ? Muffins - just beautiful.“
“I've only ever ordered delivery here and I'll continue to do that. This is one of the best places in the Bronx for breakfast. It's affordable good food. And whoever decided to start wrapping up the drinks to protect your whole order when customers use the delivery services, God Bless You! This is one of the only places I order from where I get to drink all of my coffee and not find half of it flooding the paper bag. I really appreciate that.“
“Customers praise our friendly and attentive staff, who go above and beyond to make dining at Allen's Restaurant a truly memorable experience. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion, enjoying a romantic dinner, or simply craving a delicious meal,“
“TNT Luncheonette is fantastic. I started going there, when it was called Mitz and Mike. They have a great breakfast menu. I like to order a couple of eggs over easy, with ham, home fries and whole wheat toast. Their home fries are to die for.Unfortunately, I haven't been there in years, because I live overseas now. But, if I ever get back to good old Harrison again, you can be sure, I will pay a visit to TNT Luncheonette.“
“I love ❤ my Pete's Diner,Great tasting breakfast,I'm always ordering my home fries n bacon,Today I ate inside the restaurant with my best friend, the service was good, and of course the best waitress Veronica.it is nice and clean n great atmosphere.“
“Dobbs Diner is always a go-to for weekend breakfast/brunch. They offer many choices and have talented chefs. Overall a very good experience with reasonable prices although it can get crowded at times.Sabino is fantastic; he always has a positive attitude and is friendly to all guests. He is able to brighten anyone's day.Parking: Not many spots; roughly 15 total around the location.“
“Great, expansive menu. Nice location with a great interior. There is really something for everyone. The food was simple, but high quality which is exactly what a diner should be. Fresh ingredients and flavor simplicity goes a long way! Would return if in the area!“
“I decided to stop here with my boyfriend after scouting the area for cute cafes serving fresh food with healthy options. We ended up at Granola Bar and enjoyed a wonderful lunch with our server Alex who was very accommodating and friendly. My boyfriend had the French toast that was so good he ate it right away and we didn't even get a picture of it. I opted for the avocado toast with smoked salmon and the ricotta toast. Both were incredibly fresh, light and delicious! We finished with a latte which was finely crafted with an adorable bear! There were so many other dishes that looked good on the menu being served to other diners so we will definitely be back to try the sandwiches and bowls.“
“This Diner has a lot of options on their menu Food is deliciously prepared the helpings are more than generous from Huevos Rancheros to Crepes all delicious. You're met right away by friendly and attentive waitstaff that never lets you see the bottom of your cup. Place is great for any size group we were 8 in our party and had plenty of room. Friendly and inviting atmosphere.“
“Perfect local spot for some good strong coffee & breakfast. Omelettes, home fries, french toast all are delicious. Applaud the hostess for letting us know that it was not fresh blueberries but rather a jam that is topped on french toast. It was tasty as well, but preferred without the topping. Def would come back“
“You check in with the host just like a regular restaurant. When you go in it looks like a small cafeteria turned restaurant. You could see the chefs in the kitchen with the front of staff being students as well. My first course was a chickpea, onion, and peach tart. I have never had anything like it and loved it. Would totally order again. The salmon was served over a lemon sauce which was great. The salmon could have used a minute longer but that's personal preference as I like it cooked a bit more. Lastly I had their take on a Boston crème doughnut. It was a round chocolate mousse cake with crème filling around the outside. For $30'i highly recommend coming.“
“I went to eat breakfast on Thursday at this diner and returned today with my grandbaby. The location was clean, and the service was quick. The server would go around asking if anyone needed more coffee. The food was good and plenty. You can also play the lottery Quickdraw as you eat. Parking is a plus.“
“Fast Service and seating even when the parking lot is full..(the sit and wait method will grab you a space fastest) the staff is always friendly. The Crab Cake Benedict is one of the best we've ever had and it's a hard dish to get right to the point it's the only place we have it now...the Crab is real Crab and a plentiful portion, the Apple French Toast is another favorite. We've eaten here many times and was always pleased with the portions and quality..They have good deserts too and also serve liquor (drinks). The Restaurant is Newer / Modern and the bathrooms are always clean. Definitely a place you'd enjoy eating at!“
“My work mates and I went to Townhouse Diner for lunch today and boy was I surprised! I normally avoid diners like a plague, usually cheap ingredients, bad oils, and generally not good food. This place is great!! I ordered the Nacho platter which was Delicious and huge! My work mates got burgers, salads and some appetizers, they all complimented the food and we're impressed. The prices are great as well. Service was friendly, helpful, attentive, and quick. When I'm working out of North White Plains I'll be back. If you are anywhere near Metro-North NWP yard, it's worth the little extra hike past the normal delis, almost same prices and better food and selection.“
“Best Diner in the bronx and reasonably priced. All food is fresh, deserts are great. It's the old fashion diner which are fading. We need more regular diners like this oneIts neighborhood customers are regular patrons, and everyone, know everyone. Staff is friendly. Professional and clientele customers are all friendlySoup and salad included with your dinnerNot many places offer thisIt's like I said it's the old days where diner's offered this combination, good value for your money. Food is always good. I have been going here for years.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp in back exit“
“Good place located across the street from Iona. I tried it for a late lunch. Food was excellent and service was very good. Nice atmosphere with an "upscale diner" type feel - classy but not overdone. Prices were fair and food was much better than diner style. Parking in back of restaurant was a plus. I definitely will be going back !“
“My husband got the breakfast platter brunch and I got the croissant special. He gave his food a 10, mine was more a 6.5 the croissant could had used more flavoring. We got seated right away and the service was pretty quick. Over all a good experience.“
“Great food - pancakes had a delicious buttermilk flavor, fast service - like 5 minutes after our order. Friendly as well. Gives an old school vibe with some Mexican restaurant elements as well. I loved my experience here will definitely be coming back!“
“I definitely recommend Goerges Restaurant. We sat down, made our order, and waited for just a few. then came the food. I had the skirt stake with the baked potato, and my wife had the turkey with cranberry sauce. My mouth and stomach were overjoyed. The only thing that we didn't understand was the apple cream custard under the turkey. Either way, we sat by the window and went all in.Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is at ground level.“
“We have gone to the Glen Cove Diner several times, and each time we were very pleased with the food, service and the helpful staff. The portions are double what I would normally eat, so I have to take home the rest. You don't feel rushed and the lighting is such that you feel relaxed. I would recommend trying this place.“
“Stopped in randomly - cute spot and super cozy. The server was good, kind and quick staff. Ordered some fries and a cheese quesadilla since it was a quick stop. The quesadilla was simple but well made and super cheesy! The fries were crispy and warm.“
“The food was great. I was craving lox but i was also craving eggs and home fries…. so i got both! It really just hit the spot!! The homefries were a little bland- but nothing a little salt and BUTTER can’t fix! I actually preferred this over the overly greasy, salty, and mushy homefries you get at most other places so i can’t complain much. Eggs were perfectly cooked, sausage was scrumptious, the lox and veggies were SO SO FRESH, portions were generous, and the atmosphere was great! (bonus points for free wifi)The waitress was phenomenal. She truly made our experience. Bubbly, kind, warm, inviting.. a one of a kind server! I didn’t catch her name, but a mature lady with long blonde hair, glasses, and the sweetest accent you ever heard! I truly think she is an absolute gem. All servers should be like her- a true example of hospitality and grace!“
“Stopped in on way to Mass. Can't find good chicken Parmesan in northern Alabama. ?It was on special so it was 1st choice.Terrific, from the sauce to the way the chicken was cooked perfectly. Wife had chicken souvlaki platter. It was all terrific.Would stop again if ever passing by.“
“Cycled 40 miles from south shore Long Island. Got here 9 am and not much options in the area.Spoke to a local jogger and he recommended City Island Diner for its food & comfort. I’m glad I took his advice.Walked in and was politely greeted to an old school diner with counter top seats. I got the front row bar stool facing the cook.Watching the orders come in and the cook dishing out his magic. It’s akin to watching a conductor at a symphony.Close your eyes and listen closely to the eggs cracking and being scrambled. You can smell the home fries with peppers & onions. Hear the sizzling of the bacon. My pastrami omelette arrived in a big way. Fantastic flavor & portion. ??Really enjoyed the meal and especially the hospitality. Loved the venue ??“
“My best friend, my neighbor, and I decided to go for lunch today and we decide to go to Dorry's Diner. Dorry herself helped us and gave us good suggestions for lunch. My friend and I both had a cheeseburger with coleslaw and pickle and fries and Coke zero and my neighbor had soup. Nice restaurant that used to be a coffee shop. Food was great.. we plan to make it go to place every time my neighbor is in town.“
“We had breakfast there and it was great. It's definitely old school, which my husband and I like about it. I had the huevos rancheros and he got the Florentine omelette. Both were great and the service was excellent, especially for a busy Saturday morning. We will definitely be returning to try other things. Also, the prices make it even better.“
“Best diner food we've had in a long time. There was a short wait with a few families ahead of us waiting to be seated but the food was worth it. We had the BLT, an omelette and steak sandwich. The service was one of the best, the food is really good (thank you to the cooks!) and the prices are appropriate. My one and only disappointment was the bathroom condition. The toilet was filthy, the hand soap pump wasn't automatic and worse: the soap pump was broken, and to make matters worse, there weren't any paper towels. Both men and women's bathrooms are down a hallway and the only way in or out of the hallway is a single door. If no one is able to wash or dry their hands properly, we're all just grabbing a filthy doorknob. If they can get that aspect cleared up and sanitary conditions improved, this place would be perfect.“
“February 1st, my first time eating here, and first impressions are important. When I walked in, it was spacious, clean, and busy. We got seated quickly and our hostess/ server ( I think her name was Martha or Marta. Im sorry if im saying it wrong) was great! She was friendly knowledgeable and made us feel comfortable! It was my sons birthday, and she contributed to his day by being kind. Thank you and I will come again.“
“Went to the Ardsley Diner for the first time. Im a diner expert living my whole life on Long Island. Some great salad options along with a full menu plus a sunday brunch menu. I had the Ardsley salad which was unique and really good. Among our group.of 10 some had various wraps and paninis, grilled cheese, grilled chicken sandwich and pancakes. All really good. Quick service. Place is clean but small for a diner. I would go back if im in the area.“
“Sky View Diner is a delightful culinary haven! The menu boasts a diverse array of mouthwatering dishes. The friendly staff and cozy ambiance make it a perfect spot for a casual meal or a relaxed gathering. Exceptional food and excellent service - Sky View Diner gets my enthusiastic thumbs up!“
“Purchased the Hamburger and fries. The service was very good. I was helped the moment I walked in. The waitress was very nice and polite. While I was waiting I had a chance to talk to the man who was behind the cash register. It was a great conversation about the difference items on the menu. I really enjoyed myself and felt very comfortable. The meal was very good (5 stars) . I use to come here when the older couple had the restaurant a couple of years back. It's good to see the new owners doing good. I was able to park right in front but they do have parking across the street.Kid-friendliness: They do have a kids menu“
“Food is delicious and wait staff is pleasant. The cashier or assistant is such a wonderful lady. The dining areas are a bit too small when crowded. But my husband noticed a woman , who is often there for hours with her child. The table is large and can be used for other customers. The table is a mess full of papers, food, etc.“
“Short ribs & beef very tender. Shrimp Island wrap with waffle fries delicious. The kids meals 2 mini cheese burgers was thoroughly enjoyed. Parking available at location.Vegetarian options: Salads, wrapsKid-friendliness: Great food options for kids.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp to enter dining.“
“Haven't been back to this place for a long time and things are nowhere near as bad as it used to be. Actually it was way better than expected. Place was packed on a Sunday at 1pm and we were a party of 10. They accommodated us within 15 min. They also got a party of 7 sat while we were waiting so they are great with that aspect. We sat and got all kinds of drinks including sodas for the kids that was almost never empty. Refilled my oldest Son every time he was empty. Took our large order and got every aspect correct which is great in this day and age of hard to find good staff. Food was all around good. Burgers were large, pancakes huge, they put a ton of scrambled eggs on the plate requiring them. My sister and bro-in laws salads were plentiful and they loved them. My GF got the crab and lobster cake Benedict which she loved. I got the breakfast burrito which was good and the homemade hash was tastey too. The 3 breads the put on the table to start were amazing and the desserts were real good too. Forgot to take pics of the food as it was my mother's bday so I was occupied. One negative is they have a large lot but it was full so 2 of the 4 cars we came in had to park in the street.Parking: Big lot but at busy times will easily fill up.“
“Great food, Cuban sandwich is amazing and big. The layout of the food is amazing and it's better to go in person than place phone orders. There sandwiches are great but go early if you can on the weekends because they run out of food quick and you'll be waiting around for a while till their finish cooking but it's worth the wait.“
“My fiance and I had our first date here and it was also the first place I sat down to eat at when I first moved to the area about 2 years ago. The food is on point all around my favorite is the cheeseburger and the breakfast with a Belgium waffle . The staff is attentive, and remembers our faces when we come. I also come a lot after working out at the gym or after church. It's a great environment. Good vibes great coffee too“
“I have been going to HH since 1991. Jimmy has always been very hospitable and cares about his customers. He is also very careful in making sure that everyone that works there is customer focused as well. a big shout out to Patty and Betty as they always have a smile on their face and are genuinely glad to see everyone that walks through the door. HH is the Cheers of Larchmont!“
