“Good coffee, helpful employee who was prevented from serving us by the technology. We ordered a 12oz Americano and paid before realizing it was a single shot (Starbucks put two shots in theirs). Cost of adding an extra shot is $1.75 unless you've already paid, then it's $3.75. That sucks.“

“Found this place when looking for a new cozy coffee spot. My boyfriend lives in Flushing so this was close enough for us to drive to, and the crepes looked so good. We came in on a cold snowy day, and immediately felt the warmth of fresh coffee and sweet fluffy crepes. We also got a croissant sandwich which was one of our favorite breakfast foods lately. The owner, George, was so friendly, and we spent a while just chatting to him about shared interests and family life.If you’re looking for a welcoming place to enjoy some great food, yummy coffee, and where you’re supporting a small business instead of a corporation, Maillard is for you. “This cafe is incredible! The ambiance is so relaxed, clean and open. The drinks are very interested, delicious and well crafted. If you go, you have to try the pistachio croissant. This is hands down the best croissant I've ever had in my life. It's got the perfect texture, perfectly balanced flavor of pistachios, butter and almond. I cannot recommend this place enough. Also check out their merch section, they've got some super cool things from local vendors!“

“Stopped by Saturday morning craving a matcha and they delivered! First off this place is so cute, I can't wait to come by in the summer and sit outside for a while . The staff is sooooo nice and welcoming. At the counter you're able to see all their yummy pastries, I had a chocolate croissant and it was perfectly balanced between sweet and savory. “Was drawn in by the 2.95 hot chocolate - when I saw that they used powder I immediately understood why, but to my surprise I didn't mind! Had a nice deep chocolate flavor, unlike cheap instant chocolate powders, and it wasn't too sweet. Barista also steamed milk for my chocolate. Very reasonable price, and barista was friendly. “Plain and simple coffee spot. Modern vibe and cool plants. They have decaf options which is nice. We had an oat milk latte and a cold brew and split a quiche. All were yummy and the staff was super friendly. They have a little vintage rack of clothes and cute hats with kinship on them. Dog friendly, kiddo friendly, in general happy spot.“
